Ok my PS3 did the reset last night trying to close with the PS button. I believe there is a quit feature in the game maybe thats what I tried and it worked not sure. And I figured out that the M4's are never right near the spawns, there up a ways from where you spawn on the two maps. I also figured out that once I found this gun that it always wasn't there when I went by. The gun is so popular I guess that almost everyone tries to pick it up. So if you find the spawn for the M4 and its not there give it a couple of seconds and it will respawn itself for you.

I believe all most all PS3 games are mastered in 720p, meaning this is there native resolution. Depending on the game your tv and setup with the PS3 they can upscaled to 1080i or p. There are some games that are natively 1080p on the PS3 but theres not many. I believe your issue lies with the TV and its age, along with the component setup. I would check to see if your TV supports 720p only. My guess is it doesn't thus why you get a blue screen when you select both 720p and 1080i. So my suggestion about selecting only 720p probably won't help. The video plays fine for you because its probably being upscaled to 1080i, cause the videos support that. From what I am reading LBP doesn't support being upscaled to 1080i or p. Thus the only thing it can do is be downscaled to 480p because your TV doesn't support 720p only. Hope this makes sense and I'm no expert but maybe the mighty Rooster or Goat can help you lol. I forget which one is the resident AV Wiz.

It's my understanding with the PS3 component maxes out at 1080i. Since his tv is 1080i there isn't a problem there. He says he can't use HDMI cause his tv doesn't support it. The only way to get 1080p on the PS3 is HDMI. Bull you said you tried selecting both 1080i and 720p and you get a blue screen. You said the only way you can get it to work is by only checking 1080i. Have you tried only checking 720p? This may force it to use 720p.

I'm not for sure man, But I would pick up a cheap HDMI cable, the cheapest you can find. I would try it. If it doesn't work keep the receipt and take it back. I have zero problems using HDMI. How old is your HDTV?

The game is fun IMO. Hit detection at this moment leaves a lot to be desired. But I shot it up for several games last night and had a fun time. It has potential, no lag that I seen. Third person when your running around which I really like, when you aim or zoom it seems to go into a over the shoulder view. Give it a try its pretty cool. Especially for a closed beta I was pretty impressed.

It's random they say. You have to be invited into it, I think they use to send out invited every couple of months, not sure what the process is now. I kept my PSU profile up to date and always entered all my hardware and games into the site. I heard this helps, after my second PS3 was registered I got an invite. Not sure if that really had anything to do with it or not.
