    media kit?

this is probably the sixth or seventh time i've asked, but when is the new one going to be released? i need a reason to boot up fireworks again. :'(
  2. i'm in north jersey, near the garden state plaza.
  3. now this is DEFINITELY from spaceballs.
  4. sayreville. BEST vinegar fries are on the curley's fry stand on the wildwood board walk, on jensen's pier it's the third one down past the go karts. i could honestly live off those fries, wouldnt live for long but they're still amazing.
  5. sounds like something from spaceballs..
  6. north jersey, and that line about the sopranos intro is 100% true. i live a five minute drive from the 'bada bing' aka satin doll..
  7. if you can relate to at least 10 of these, you're from jersey. a friend of mine emailed this to me and i thought it was fkn hilarious b/c they're all true. You don't think of fruit when people mention "The Oranges". You know that it's called Great Adventure, not Six Flags. A good, quick breakfast is a hard roll with butter. You've known the way to Seaside Heights since you were seven. You do not say new joisey..in fact you know that no one from Jersey does...or anyone for that matter You've eaten at a Diner, when you were stoned or drunk, at 3a.m. You know that the state isn't one big oil refinery. At least three people in your family still love Bruce Springsteen and you know the town Jon Bon Jovi is from. You know that you can't make a left anywhere and that the jughandle is a way of life You know what a "jug handle" is. You know that WaWa is a convenience store. You know that the state isn't all farmland. You know that there are no "beaches" in New Jersey -there's the shore and you don't go to the shore, you go "down the Shore". And when you are there, you're not "at the shore", you are "down the Shore". You know how to properly negotiate a Circle. You knew that the last sentence had to do with driving. You know that this is the only "New __" state that doesn't require "New" to identify it (like, try...Mexico,...York, .Hampshire - doesn't work, does it?) You know that a "White Castle" is the name of BOTH a fast food chain AND a fast food sandwich. You consider putting mayo on a corned beef sandwich a sacrilege. You don't think "What exit?" is very funny. You know that people from the 609 area code are "a little different". Yes they are! You know that no respectable New Jerseyan goes to Princeton -that's for out-of-staters. The Jets-Giants game has started fights at your school or localbar. You live within 20 minutes of at least three different malls. You refer to all highways and interstates by their numbers. (except for "the Parkway" and "the Turnpike") Every year you have at least one kid in your class named Tony. You know the location of every clip shown in the Sopranos opening credits. You've gotten on the wrong highway trying to get out of the mall. You know that people from North Jersey go to Seaside Heights, and people from Central Jersey go to Belmar and people from South Jersey go to Wildwood. You weren't raised in New Jersey -- you were raised in either North Jersey, Central Jersey or South Jersey. You don't consider Newark or Camden to actually be part of the state. You use swear words should be in the dictionary you use them so often You also remember Palisades Amusement Park. You've had a Boardwalk cheese steak and vinegar fries. You start planning for Memorial Day weekend in February. You've NEVER, NEVER pumped your own gas.
  8. players in the good ole days got paid jack shit b/c they paid for the love of the game, and not sneaker deals, commercials, advertising, the games, all that shit. not to mention back in the day football and the sports industry wasn't half of what it was today.
  9. LMAO!
  10. NYC's always a blast, try going on an L ride through manhatten at 2am, good times. i think the next big UF meet should be in NYC..

  17. nice post cdbs, ;D
  18. this is correct. but we were still supplying arms/ships/supplies to england
  19. world war 2 avoided? cdbs, that's one helluva stretch. if it were only hitler, or only the facists, or only the japanese expanding then MAYBE. but not when you have three powers UNITED and all trying to have some type of reign on the world. the league of nations was useless, it did nothing but appease hitler trying to avoid war. when i teach this to my kids i teach them M.A.I.N. M = militarism, building up your military. Hitler broke the treaty of versailles and began to sit and build up a HUGE armed forces A = alliances, AKA and the tripartite that joined Japanese, Italian, and Nazi forces. I = imperialism, this is by far the biggest influence on the war b/c its what ultimately caused the UK to attack. ALL 3 axis powers started to expand and make their territory bigger. nazi:europe, italian: africa, japanese: south east asia, and china. N = nationalism, pride in one's country, basically what's fueling the imperialism to make their country the biggest and the best out there. the treaty of versailles couldn't have been avoided, the causalities and losses suffered by france and england had to be avenged in some way, so they provided harsh terms. This not only angered the germans but also crippled their economy b/c they lost land and were out of factory jobs that supplied the military. and the french and british thought nothing of this treaty b/c WW1 was 'the war to end all wars' they never thought it would come back and bite them in the ass like it did.

  25. player, if they're still in the public section on the Bar and Grill forums, dig back to a multi-page thread on international affairs, it's mostly between me and skyna. the sudanese genocide is something i've been aware of and tried to help out for years now. i'm just happy to see somebody be aware of it and how our gov't is basically ignoring it.
