What do I have to do to play SOCOM online again. I know there is certain way to DL'd things from that friggin game. Link would be fine.

I know there has been threads made in the past, but they are pretty old since the shows hiatus. So I thought I would start a new one, since the latest show was so (IMO) CONFUSING!! I put ***Episode Spoiler*** because I want to talk openly about shows that have aired. So if you don't want an episode "spoiled", watch it first before you read this thread. Here is my take on it so far: From what I'm gathering is that Jacob is God, or one of the Archangel's, and the man in black who is now posing as John Locke is the Devil, or Lucifer. When he (John/man in black) said he wanted to go home to Ben, he meant back to heaven. Where, according to the bible, he was cast out of. Now "with his hosts of angels, and since then he has been flying in the air continually above the abyss." The abyss being the island. I'm guessing the island is where he has been for eternity, and he's trying to get back into Heaven. The "others" are angels, but not Archangel's. That's why they can be killed. And they are on the island to keep Lucifer there. -OR- they are aware what the island is, and are some sort of "helpers" that stay on the island to help keep the man in black on the island. That's why I think in the last episode there was basically a fountain of youth. To keep them healthy and able to be healed after a battle. Now the people on the island from Oceanic Flight 815, the ones who survived the crash and island. I think they were hand picked by God or the Archangel to help the angel's battle Lucifer, for some special reason each of them possess. We know they were hand picked, because the last two episodes showed Jacob touch each of them some way. The people from the Dharma Initiative are people that have been corrupted by some sort of evil, and that's why they're there. The man in black had some sort of hand in that occurring, though they never hinted that, again, I'm just guessing. But what the hell is going on where Jack and the other passengers are now back home, but on the island at the same time. And what the Hell did Juliette mean "It worked". That's the confusing part that I want to hear other people discuss. To get their take on everything so far.

I need to get a PS3 Slim ASAP. So I'm gonna trade in everything I own related to Playstaion, aside from SOCOM and MW2. So which one should I go to? I have both in my area. I know you get more for store credit, but I need to buy the Slim by opening a new credit account. I don't have the money now, but I will whenever I get my tax refund back. So I don't want to add anything to an existing account so that I can pay off the new account completely when I get the refund. So does either store offer that kind of deal. Like when you go to a department store and they try to get you to open a new credit card and to get like 10% off. If neither does, I'm gonna take the trade in as cash, so I can go to Best Buy or Target.

I mean, I still have PSN store cash on one of my accounts. Is there anyway to wipe this piece of shit clean, or am I screwed? Screwed in the sense that I can't even sell it as YLOD to someone who wants to try and fix it.

Will one of those cooling fans help prevent this from happening again? At least until I can get a PS3 Slim.

So I'm picking mine up on Wednesday. CZ is the shiz-nit and fixed it. But now I want to put it up on Craig's list. What do I need to copy the few vids I took with the Eye camera and all the pics. Also, what will I lose if and when I get rid of it? I know I can re-download the games I purchased from the store, but what about game saves? Are they gone if I get rid of it? And, what do I need to do to basically wipe it clean of any and all info on the HDD?

I have an older model 1080i HDTV and it scales it down to 480p, not 720p. I have this problem with any game that doesn't support 1080i. Looks like crap. Especially on a 55in. Check your settings on the playstation. Normally it will do the work for your TV, providing you are using HDMI. Dont quote me on it, but its worth a shot. No, it doesn't work. no but if you go to radio shack you can get a booster for $20 and hook it up to any router and youll get perfect signal i can go down the street with my psp and still get signal No, that won't work. I'm trying to get a better signal from the coffee shop across from my office. I don't think they would let me install that. But thanks.

So with a 1080i ONLY HDTV, it will be scaled down to 480p, right? If that's correct, it looks like shit on my TV. I blame the Dev's and Sony. More so Sony, because they could patch the friggin' PS3 to correct this issue.

I'm confused now. Yes or no. Can you create a private room and play on a map with your mates only? Also, I was at Best Buy and checked this game out and seen it only supports 720p and 480p?!! So if your like me and only have a 1080i HD TV, it won't be in HD?!! Like LBP and any Battlefield friggin game.
