WOW!!!! In everyones opinion, how often do you think that will happen?

You know, at first I didn't think 25 kills would be that easy. Then I remembered some of my games exactly like you said. One hit hard core with UAV protection, I think I had a few 25+ kill streaks. And now with silencers on sniper rifles, its definitely gonna happen. They are speculating that it would take down any chopper or AC10.

That's bullshit. But to each his own, right? Just get over the fact that some of us "crazies" still support the game and stop bashing anyone that posts they still love it. I don't support the game because of the name alone. I support it because there STILL isn't anything out that compares. Yeah, I know, blah, blah COD has HC, blah, blah, you can turn respawn off, blah, blah more people play, blah, blah, you can make it tactical, blah, blah, blah. I never said COD isn't a fun game. The single player is fantastic. The fact remains, that alot of us don't care for COD game style and how repetitive it gets. IMO, any "team" game that one person can single handedly win rounds at will is NOT a clan based, tactical shooter. That is why I don't like it. I can list off 30 guys here on UF alone that I've played MW with that can put up 30+ kills a game, every game and win the map solo. I never called you guys crazy, I said "its" crazy. But if it sounded that why, I apologize. I guess I get so upset with this whole SOCOM debate because it actually makes me mad that they have more than 300 people logged on. I truly believe they ripped us off. The released an unfinished broken game and took my money without blinking an eye. So when I see, as of this post, over 8900 logged on, it pisses me off. To me its like supporting their crime by ignoring that fact that they released a piece of crap. Which, in all honesty, wouldn't be as bad if they would have fixed by now...over a year later. That really has nothing to do with it. Like Snowbud said, anybody can start a clan with the same tags. Granted, it takes a couple of more steps, but that's it. The only game I've seen that prevented that was Killzone 2. But I thought it was dumb. Also, no offense, but you summed up my argument with this one statement: You went back to PS2 game over a PS3 game because it had SOCOM on the front of it. Once I bought my PS3, I took all of my PS2 games to Gamestop for credit. They looked and sounded horrible compared to a PS3 game. IMO, I don't think MW2 will have the same "stale" effect as MW1. As someone has said in another post.

I don't know if MW2 will have the same stale effect as MW1 had. It was quite apparent that Infinity Ward started working on MW2 right away. They quit supporting MW1. Sure they released one map pack for MW1, but that was it. The only reason they paid any attention to it recently, was because a major hack was discovered. Which, after being posted EVERYWHERE, was fixed within a week or two. Unlike Slant 6, and you can't deny that fact. So with that being said, I believe that IW will stay focused on MW2 for quite sometime after its release. Plus you have to take into effect that its has a single player version, and online co-op version, and a MP version with 17 maps to start with. So, its quite possible it won't have that "stale" feeling to it anytime soon. I wouldn't doubt if you see about 3-4 DLC's released for this game. After its said and done, I'll probably end up spending over $100. MW2 will definitely take me away from SOCOM. If it wasn't for Ravenfall, I would give it up completely. No doubt about it. There would be no way in hell I would give Slant 6 a dime for any DLC. But, be it as it may, I'm dedicated to RVN and they aren't giving up on it, so neither will I. I hear Money, but I think some of us think its crazy that you guys support this game hands down because it has the name SOCOM on it. The game is garbage, SOCOM or not, its complete garbage. And when MW2 was talked about or MAG, the first post started coming in..."Its crap, its a FPS", "No tactics involved, its a FPS, its an arcade game". You might as well have just said, "Its not SOCOM, so I'm not interested."

The Gamestop I'm getting my copy from is going all out with free pizza, Army recruiters, and some other bells and whistles. I figured I'm gonna get there about 10-1030 to make sure I get it right after midnight so I can log on right when I get home. I just found out that another member from RVN will be at the same place I'm getting my copy from. So I thought people could list if and where they are getting their copy. Just in case some of us are gonna be at the same Gamestop or some other location at the same time. Some of us will have an hour or two to kill, so... I'm getting mine from the Gamestop in Schererville, Indiana at RT30 and US41.

I powered down my crappy router and that seemed to help, a lot. But I need a new one. I'm tired of this shit. I'm thinking of just getting the one Comcast offers. Due to lifetime maintenance I would get on it. Does anybody here use Comcast's router? If so, any good

I just did an internet connection test on my PS3 and noticed there was a download and upload speed. I never noticed that before, but whatever. Here are my speeds: DL 726.4 kbps UL 292.9 kbps Are these any good?

Actually, the mute worked the other way. You couldn't mute anyone in the lobby, but in game you could. And I seem to remember they actually already showed proof of host migration for MW2. And they did fix it in MW1. Before, when the host left the room, the room would shut down and you would be back at the menu screen. After the "tweaked" it, if the host left the game, it would end but everyone would still be in the same room together. So it was pointless, I'll give you that. From the video they show of host migration, it looks like its supposed to work. Like CoD3 and Fat Princess for example. The host leaves, there is a message stating this, and then a new host is picked randomly. When the new host is picked, that person receive a message, "You are now the host."
