  1. Holy Crap... 17,000.00 with a day and a half left.
  2. I live about 30 mins from kent state... if we are talking about the same kent state
  3. I loved the first one, but the second one is 10x better...
  4. Well, i've been disconnected from a couple games, but 2 games in 11 hours of play isn't bad. and sometimes i have trouble creating my own game.... but other than that, it's awesome. The final release is going to rock.
  5. Ok, I just figured I would give a detailed review for anyone asking questions about the beta for Resistance 2 When you first start up the beta, you can choose from cooperative and competitive game modes. Then you also have Community and options underneath that. Cooperative- Co-op in this game can be 1 or 2 players, depending on how you want to play. When you click on cooperative, you can go into play, find game, create game, offline game, and equipment room. If you want 2p at any time, they just have to turn on the controller and press start. Yes, you can play 2 player co-op online, it shows up in a party for me as "sharkbait2" and "sharkbait2(2)". When you click on play, you quickly hop right into a game and start playing. When you click on Find game, you can select what game you want to play (by seeing game name, map, gametype, and how many people are playing in that game). When you click on create game, you have the options of naming that game to whatever you want, picking a map to play, the max players allowed, you can make it a private game if you choose, and have the option to make it so nobody can join after the game has already started. In the Equipment room, you can your extra gun to use, what your face looks like, and an armor/weapon upgrade you can buy with "grey tech" when you reach a high enough level. There are 3 classes you can choose from. Soldier, Medic, and Special Ops. A soldier carries the strong guns and deals heavy damage while having a high heath bar. The medic can heal players who are hurt. (And can do this as many times as you want without running out of anything) and the Spec ops can give ammo to players when they run out. (you can give out as much ammo as you want without running out, but to give ammo, your ammo bar has to charge up) They all have different guns, health, and abilities. So to complete a co-op game, you must have all 3 classes together in one game working as a team, or you're going to get you ass kicked. Basically, to summarize a co-op game, you can have anywhere from 2-8 people working as a team against computer enemies. Think of it as single player, but with 7 other people working as a team (with or without mics) with different classes to beat a level. Each level takes about 45 mins. to beat, depending on how well your team is balanced. The leveling up system is kinda weird, but cool. You have 2 different kinds of leveling up. You can level up you class and you can level up your overall character. My soldier is level 6, my medic is 3, and my spec ops is 4.... but my overall character is only level 2. When you get to high enough levels, you can use "grey tech" which you get by playing co-op and killing big bosses to buy upgrades for armor and weapons. Here is a pic of my soldier loadout to give you an idea: http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c289/sharkbait__/img1224892258381.jpg Competitive- Not much to say about competitive, you have you basic deathmatch, team deathmatch, and them some special gametypes with different objectives. Here you can choose to jump right into a game, find a specific game, create a game, and your equipment room. With your equipment room here, you have 2 different classes. Human and Chimera. With a human, you can choose you gun, the looks of your outfit, change the look of your face, choose 2 accessories, and a backpack. With a Chimera, you can choose you gun, type of chimera, look of your face, 2 things of armor, and you heatstack. I haven't unlocked anything for heatstack yet, so I'm not sure what that does. The last thing I'll type about is the allies menu. with this menu, you can see your friends list, your party, and your clan page. Friends list- With this section of the menu, you can see all of your friends(obviously) and see if they are offline, online, playing in a resistance 2 game, or if they are in the lobby. If you click on their name, you can invite them to your party, ask to join their party, and view their resistance profile with their loadouts and guns. Party- Here, you can view the people in your party. Also, there are a few options to go along with the party. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c289/sharkbait__/img1224893169559.jpg Clan- The clan feature isn't available in the beta, so not much info on this. When you're in a lobby waiting for a game to start, you can click on peoples names, and mute them, add them as a friend, or just invite them to your party, which is kinda cool. Sorry if it's a little confusing, but I hope this helps
  6. Anyone that wants a buddy to play with for the co-op, send an invite to sharkbait2
  7. I got a code from a friend... then got my own, and gave it to another friend... then he got one
  8. I'm not poor and i'm not lying/misunderstood...... lol Just simply, Warhawk won't install when I log onto my friends account who bought it, go into his download history and download it. I can download it no problem, but installing it doesn't work. It sits there like its preparing to install, and then nothing ever happens. I've tried it like 10 times.
  9. I think it would scare the crap out of me for a second if I drove past and saw that. It would be like godzilla
  10. Did you keep your friends account on your ps3 cuz I have a friend who has warhawk from someone else. yep... the game downloaded fine, but when I tried to install it, nothing. I even tried it logged in to the other guys account to install it.... still didn't work
  11. yep... A lot of features in this game should of been put into cod4 to make it a little better. Like being able to click on someones name in the lobby and block, mute, add them as a friend, and invite to party without being on your friends list. Also, you have co-op online which I played today with a friend. Awesome game for sure. I hope UF gets something going if enough people like this game.
  12. I don't think you would be able too.... I've tried to download Warhawk off of a friend and it wouldn't install. Same with tekken 5 online. The offline works fine with no problem, but the online expansion wouldn't install either. I think it's just expensive games that they protect so they can't be downloaded like that. Could be wrong though
  13. I've been playing it, and I have to say that this is an awesome game. Wayyyyy better than the first one.
  14. Well... it happens to every game that looks good http://videogames.yahoo.com/feature/religious-outcry-sparks-littlebigrecall/1257227
  15. I hated the 3rd one, but imo the 2nd one was the best. I hope they have a rifles only game we can play
  16. If you're just looking for a scanner, bitdefender.com has an awesome online scanner. But you have to use it in ie.
  17. GO BROWNS!!! haha, im from Ohio, so i've got to cheer for them.
  18. symphony of the night for ps1 was the best imo.
  19. I'm gonna have to go with Peter Griffin
  20. The date you see on gamestop's website is the shipping date of the game. Gamestop will recieve the game on the 14th and the time can be anywhere from opening until closing. If you've reserved the game, you're able to pick it up when their shipment comes in, but you might want to call before you go up there just in case the shipment hasn't come yet. If you haven't reserved it, you will have to wait until the 15th unless you get lucky enough to be able to get an extra. Gamestop usually gets exclusive releases a day or two before anyone else, same thing goes with getting special items if you pre-release games. (like getting the exclusive carbine before you get to the required level for WaW). Since gamestop the biggest video game retailer, video game companies make deals with gamestop. So if you've pre-ordered the game, you can pick it up on the 14th when the gamestop shipment comes in. If you haven't pre-ordered, you might have to wait until the 15th or even 16th for some places to sell them to you, unless you get lucky As far as the playstation store release, the store always gets updates on thurday around 4-5 cst, so you can expect it then Hope that helps.
