Your thoughts? We were in a war last night and while the war was going on a high ranking member of the other clan was actively recruiting one of my members. Asking him questions like, "Are you happy with *N*?" It wasnt just a simple question or two, it was a continuous bombardment of questions and attempts. My member kept tellin him to talk to me and the guy finally did today. I alerted him to the fact that what he did is a real shady practice and it wasnt appreciated. He felt that recruiting this way was fine and, "how else do you recruit good players" This to me is so obsurd that it is hilarious. He actively tried to recruit one of my best players while we were still in a war. And how do you ask if a guy is happy when he is playing in a clan war and kicking ass? If he wasnt happy he wouldnt be there playing his heart out lol Anyways, your thoughts??

Yea Socom might have its probs but it is still so much fun when you get great clan wars like that one. Street I checked my players met tab for two names that might match "judge" and "nasty" and didnt see anything, sorry bud. Send a message to USS-Apache I believe he is their leader and could prolly hook you up with the names

I just wanted to post about the intensely great war we just finished with USS United Soldiers of Socom: *N* v USS 9v9 Desert Glory Demo: 6-4 in favor of *N* Kasbah Demo: 5-5 tiebreaker to USS due to 1 USS defusal Crossroads Demo: 5-5 tiebreaker to *N* due to 4 bases exploded to 1 USS defusal It was such an awesome war and USS are a bunch of stand up guys. Everybody played a great respectful game. Its still such a shame that Slant Six doesnt see the importance of an actual tiebreaker round but hopefully they will soon. I look forward to more games with USS here at UF

Ummmm how can there still be an evaluation tournament? This is my concern.... UF Black under the old format was not only the evaluation tournament for new clans but also the main Socom tournament for all UF clans in between Tac-Map tournaments. Now this is why it served as a great eval. tournament because all UF clans participated. Usually a Black tourney would be a nice ratio of existing UF clans to new UF clans. The problem Im seeing here is now their would be no reason for any veteran clans to play in the pre-requisite evaluation tournaments. I dont even think they would have time to do so with Black being this extensive, Tac-maps a few times a year and then specialty tourneys. So without any veteran clans playing in the evaluation tournaments will we still be able to sustain a tournament of that nature? I mean we only really get like 4 or 5 new clans tops in each Black. Also without any veteran clans now in the evaluation tournaments who would be evaluating the new clans? I may be crazy but I just see something hitting a miss here.... On another note the new Black looks outstanding. Tow, seeing my whole clan council is comprised of UF veterans and I at every chance look to uphold the communities values, how about you waive our needed evaluation credit. LOL it would be much appreciated and would def cure my headaches....

I will be wishing for Feb cause I am dying to get my guys in. My top officers are all UF tested and proven, I am just hoping for the opp to get my new clan name tested and proven now.

Im going to say right now that I think nothing should be changed here. I believe that the whole community has been under the impression that Horsemen was going to run the same as Ronin and the Tac-Maps. I personally was under the impression that the tournament was reserved for UF veterans who have already proven themselves by going through the evaluation tournaments. I believe that this ideal has been the backbone of this community and is why this community stands above the rest. To change this ideal now would be completely wrong. I do not care that it was not in the rules, because it has always been the "golden" rule of the community. To change this because one clan feels it is unpatriotic lol is quite ridiculous. To change the very soul of the understood rules because one clan leader has a problem with its meaning is beyond retarded. If he cant understand that the rule isnt to keep people out but to keep the wrong people out then that is his problem. And honestly if this clan leader and this clan has a problem with our communities MOST SIMPLE MOST IMPORTANT RULE/IDEAL then maybe they dont belong here. If they cant even understand the evaluation rule for what it is then what else wont they understand? Poll the community to see who was under the impression that this was set up as a veterans tournament. I guarantee you get 90-100% who understood it was in fact for vets. And in my opinion money doesnt change anything. If anything the fact that we are playing for money makes me in stronger favor of every entrant being already tested and proven to be a stand up player. IT WORKED FOR TWO RONINS AND ITS WORKED FOR COUNTLESS TACMAPS. Oh and I have this opinion even though I started a new clan and only have about 5 players eligible as UF veterans. I understand that I need to get my clan through an evaluation before they are all "proven" and I embrace that ideal All entrants should have to be veterans. DO NOT CHANGE A THING FOR ANYBODY!!!!!

Is this tourney going to be before the next tac-map? I only ask because I really wanna get into the next tac-map but seeing I created a new clan, I have lost my pre-requisite that I had as leader of U$.

LOL I hear ya chili and were only doing it to keep our competitive juices flowing while we wait for the next Black. We didnt have the resources to play the first one so we were bored but now we got about 25 and are ready to go!!!!!!

LOL too funny. We actually just had a run in with this character on GB. We had a game set up with a real good squad for a 5v5 at 430 in the a.m. Although they accepted our challenge they didnt show up with the proper number of players within the 15 minute grace period. At this time I check the staff section and nobody is available so I follow the no-show rules by reporting the event a win for us and submitting a no-show ticket to the admins. Well little did I know that I would be receiving an AIM message at 4:56 in the morning from one "GB-Crusha" stating that we had five minutes to get our team in the room and play the match. This was now 11 minutes after the 15 minute grace period had already passed lol. Well seeing my fifth guy went to bed we couldnt play the match. We then find a forfeit loss on our record the next day. This spaz gets the win granted to the other team when they didnt even have their team ready until a full 25 minutes after scheduled start time. We followed all the rules and went through the proper procedures and we get the loss. I posted the AIM conversation and admin responses on our website for all to see cause it is such a joke that its freakin hilarious. He is a [expletive deleted] [expletive deleted]!!!!

yea i know about the "operation" message and I know sometimes stats are not available but this was not the case because i never got the message. Also the stats were not only gone but it correlated to the clan page as the ranks and ratings of these players fell to 0 and 1 respectively. Its kinda weird cause it was 4 or 5 people in multiple clans that i seen this for

Ok so I have just hopped on to socom and as I am looking over my clan roster I have noticed that a few of my guys have had their all of their stats reset. And with their stats their rank and ratings as well. Now it seems to be only the guys who have been inactive for a couple of days. I checked some other rosters as well and I see the same thing happening to other players. Does anyone know of any explanation for this??

what up chili? I was thinking last night of what kind of league would fit well and keep things short enough to not feel drawn out and still fun. Here is what I came up with (similar to the Black structure) 4 week season with 5th week being Championship event Each week is a different lane with a different grease type Each week will have a tournament tree (randomly selected) Winners move on, losers go home each regular season week Point system with each weeks finishes Trickle down point system i.e. 8 participants would mean 1st gets 8 points, 2nd 7, 3rd 6 so on... Total pins would be tiebreaker in point system for the losers of the rounds Points total up at the end of the season to decide Championship event seedings Championship event runs double elimination playoff tree What do you think about that? I think that could be alot of fun
