    Yeah, I know....but see thats the thing. 24 has(had anyway) the ability to frustrate you with the cliff hangers they left you with after each episode. I would ACTUALLY BE MAD after an episode because they left some major drama up in the air....lol. Didn't have the 'kick' I'm accustomed to.

    IDK about you, but I have ALWAYS enjoyed 24's season premiers almost more than any other show on TV. Not because I LIKE 24 better, but because they always seem to punch you in the mouth straight from the get go, and not let up. Well I watched the 2-hour season premier last night, and I got to tell you, I wasn't impressed. Seemed like the writer's have lost ways to get Jack Bower involved in a plot now that he is 'retired'......I do appreciate that their is a WHOLE new cast to deal with, I just am thinking that 24 may have run it's course.

    I had the YLOD and had it reflowed and new thermal compound applied. It ran quieter and cooler than before, but I had already purchased a new 250Gig. Its had the hard drive reformatted, so it's like new out of the box......in fact I think I still HAVE the box! I would rather give UF members a shot at it before I sell it on Craigslist or Ebay. Its a launch 80, so it's fully backwards compatible....all 4 USB ports and the card readers. I am looking to get $250.00, and you are responsible for shipping from Kansas City, MO. Please post here AFTER you have PMed me your interest in buying.

    Slnt_Bob fixed mine, and I watched him. He uses some expensive compound that is by order only....I guess all the stuff you can get at Radio Shack isn't much better than what came with it. EDIT: Asked Bob, he said go get it from Best Buy.

    Quick question....when you boot it does it flash a yellowish light, THEN blink red? Because I think the straight red is a disc read error and requires a new BluRay reader.....

    This should be posted in a sticky for all to see. I froze up and held down the power button to reboot on my 80. It got the YLOD! I never thought about ejecting the disc....
