assuming canada beats slovakia, I will be soiling my shorts in anticipation of the gold medal game. 2 teams seemingly playing their best hockey. Canada still has to be the favorite, but I think Team USA is pretty comfortable playing the role of underdog at this point.

I'd be down with that; It would probably make reading the site from my cell phone easier (grey on black is difficult to read with any light at all). I was just wondering if there was a way to disable it, as I have zero use for it.

I would love for the Packers to pick him up. Not the "Factor Back" he was, but he can't be any worse than Brandon Jackson. Plus his skills as a receiver would be really useful in GB's pass-first offense.

Like I said, outside of the direct shot at a 22 month old child, I didn't have any problem with the episode. I simply found it unnecessary and not at all creative.

I'm fairly conservative, but I couldn't agree more. That's what so shitty about that stuff: There is so much about Sarah Palin to attack, but they went for the easiest (and most offensive) joke. My family is fairly involved with the Wisconsin Special Olympics, so I may be a little more sensitive to this stuff than others, but it just shows a lack of class as well as a lack of creativity. I watched the episode and, except for that joke, I found it to be humorous and not in bad taste. It treated the character with DS as it would any other, but when they tried to draw the parallel to an actual person, and portray that innocent person in poor light, it crossed WAY over the line. Just my two cents....

its amazing what gets laughs these days, there is nothing at all clever about that. Talk about going after the low hanging fruit... I don't know about everyone else, but I was always taught not to make fun of people for things they can't help, especially for things such as Down's Syndrome. I'd be upset too.

unless you really know your way around computers or have someone who would donate their time and expertise, I would really suggest just sending it in to sony. I spent the $75 bucks, over a dozen hours and a lot of aggravation to install the new blu-ray laser only to not be able to properly reassemble the housing and insertion mechanism. Good luck regardless.

Was easily my favorite HBO series of all time. The only season I didn't like as much was the one on the docks (Season 3?) but even that season was better than 95% of all other TV shows. I am anxiously awaiting the second season of Eastbound and Down. The pilot season of that show was the tits.

thats what their hope has got to be. buy some people into retirement quicker and maybe get a few of the idiots off-board quickly. Seriously, leaving that job for what amounts to a free year of salary (which would most likely be taxed at a substantially higher rate) would be a modern day equivalent of the Prodigal Son. -

with the sweetheart deal the UAW has collectively bargained with the Auto makers, the chance of them getting shit-canned is very close to zero. Seriously, those guys have the best deal around. And although there may be some manufacturing jobs around for $28/hr, i highly doubt they carry the same benefits and security that the UAW offers. -
