I hate these "Where were you on 9/11" threads because they always bring back the horrible memories of that day :'( I don't like to dwell on sad shit, it happened, there's more to life than continuously thinking back to that day and to feel those emotions again. I'm not saying the events or the deaths of that day shouldn't be honoured, I just hate thinking about them cause I don't like being depressed, sad, or causing myself to be either, lol But moving on, I was sitting in a high school math class, think it was Algebra 2 or Trig and we found out about it via the principal on the intercom and someone going classroom to classroom announcing it before the principal did his thing. I remember sitting in classes all day watching TV and then having the following day off as a day of remembrance and to honour the dead and those soon to be. At lunch an old small propeller plane flew over top the school after the Fed forced all aircraft to land and banned any from taking off. Near my high school in Richfield, Ohio there's an Air Force base somewhere and while eating, a couple USAF jets took off after the prop-plane to force it to land and EVERYONE in the school and lunch room shit their pants cause they thought we were getting dive bombed. I remember everyone in the lunch room flocking to the windows to look, it was like a stampede! I found out later that the plane was apparently so old it wasn't equipped with the proper communication equipment.

Red, any chance you can give me a couple links or something to this planned policy by the Republican party or McCain or whoever's policy to downsize the Fed? I'd like to read this material and I can't find any links or I'm just blind cause I'm not seeing it. I doubt the Fed can be downsized, with the huge increase and projected growth of the Justice System, I feel that the Federal Government is only going to become larger; along with their control. I doubt the Republicans can reverse that since they are pushing "anti-terrorism" on law enforcement so much and the Justice system continues to expand at a massive rate especially at the Federal level and that factor (Increased size in Justice System) alone has always been the cause to governments becoming larger, with more control, throughout history.

Which is why it's up to the American people to keep bringing the issues up to McCain who's campaign keeps trying his houdini "let's talk about everything else unimportant" shit, which is really getting on my nerves. He won't change shit, he's gonna get in office, adjust things so they work how he wants them to and he's going to continue putting us in debt and keep is in war. Obama 08 baby and NOT looking back. Perhaps someday I'll regret my decision, but I guarantee that more of McCain's supporters will regret it if they vote for him and he gets into office. You're pissed about how our country is falling apart now? Just let the Republicans have hold on to it for another 4-8 years and then see.
