I think APC's Primemeat has the right attitude here. Respect the wishes, no need to slam people, or cuss people out. iLL, a long standing and reputable clan, has stated very simply and very humbly that they preferred their troop movements and positions not to be recorded...and as there was no previous stipulation that the championship match was to be recorded....please honor that preference. I am quite sure had the stipulation been in place, iLL would have accounted for the fact and adjusted accordingly...and been quite O.K with the filming. Asian, I must say that your "professional" attacks on iLL are quite disheartening and counterproductive. Furthermore, since you say that you represent DV8 news and its quality control, I don't think I can endorse/recommend/support/whatever a fledgling online "news" feed that has such a disrespectful potty mouth as its advocate. My opinion matters as much as a mosquito's here, but I know others feel the same. I respect what you are trying to do with your contribution, and even if it misses the mark your 40hours are appreciated I'm sure. But by lowering yourself to this kind of venomous attack to a clan and personnel that meant you no harm what-so-ever is, well, childish and inappropriate. I can only imagine the language and flaming that went on BEHIND the scenes! lol

Congrats LPK, there was some tough competition along the way, but ya made it. On behalf of all the snide comment makers, I apologize that your congratulatory thread is marred by the winks, the rolled eyes, and the "hmmms..." and "no comments". Good luck in future endeavors, and hope to see you on the battlefield i.e. Dirty Mex...This shouldn't be in this thread, you only show a lack of respect for congratulating the winners of the Crucible 2 with your crass language. I made this last month, never gave it to anyone...so I dont know what to do with it. Any comments on it? How does the color changes I made to the render go with the background? Does it say "some shit si blowing up behind this dude" or what? lol Here is another one that I loved, due to the background created and how the render and glow kinda flows with the BG..but the dude didnt post that much so never got too many comments/critiques on it...

Guys, there is no reason to flame each other over this. I havent even read the whole thread, and the last few posts are enough for me. As far as I know, it wasn't in the rules that recording the final would be mandatory, so why be salty? As a tournament grows and takes on new and exciting ideas, the rules change WITH those times. But before they are rules, then the community needs to operate on a level of respect between each other...otherwise, drama and bickering ensues. My take, not that it matters squat, is to respect iLL's discomfort with the taping..no matter how small the viewing audience of the broadcast may be. I know that wherever the vid would be shown doesn't have a huge and regular audience, so to me the issue is nominal...BUT iLL has paid their dues and whooped up on every clan in a fair, mature, and respectful manner. We should respect them as well, and ammend the rules for the next tournament to state that matches could be subject to recording at Staff's whim, or something. This tourney, and its decisions, are under the proprietor's and staff's decision, and theirs alone, so if they stipulate it in the rule...unless that rule is flawed or unfair in anyway, it should be respected. But again, because it hasn't been a rule and only a suggestion/discussion, the filming should be agreed upon by all parties or a suitable compromise found.

lol D- Its not you man, it is that person and the tag he stood for. Like any tyrannical leader, a clan falls apart and comes back together on their say-so. Which makes ReD his baby, and everything attributed to him is attributed to that tag. I've really liked some guys that came out of ReD, one of them is with APC or was, and a couple others running around, and as I get to know you I can dig the friendly banter as well. You have to realize that UF is like a gossip circle...all the drama that has and will happen is human nature when groups of people are thrown together...so its a stew that occasionally boils over. And when 1 person causes so much insult and injury to so many...it is a hard thing to forget. Still waters run deep, as they say, and anything to do with him and the distaste we have over what he caused is like pouring oil over that water and tossing in a match. I do applaud your backbone...you have an ideal/something you believe in, and no matter what flack you may receive...you're standing your ground. That shows your character, something hard to find at times. -
I just rescued a shephard/collie mix pup, about 12 weeks old. I was expecting him to be nice and big, but his paws are kind of slender so I think he's gonna be medium sized I call him Gizmo...any guesses why?
