So I can't believe we don't have a thread about this here....I"m so jacked to see this. The original was why I painted my room black in high school and put blue neon everywhere! Except my parents wouldn't let me paint it black so I rebelled and painted it "peacock blue" which is a dark, hideous version of Teal. Still, everything glowed and chicks really dug it. That and the treehouse out back, but I digress. This movie looks visually cool as iced balls, the tracks are composed by Daft Punk and at least in the trailer, make everything seem bad ass. I can't wait!

Actually, I'm digging the casting. I thought Hemsworth or whatever..Thor guy... stole the opening of Star Trek for sure. And I love Chris Evans. He's got that all american boy thing going, which is great for Cap. I think you'll see a different act from him, he won't be as wise-ass in this one I think. He's got the athleticism to pull off the role, and I have been hoping he breaks out for a long time. I loved his character in The Losers. Also, Mark Ruffalo is a good actor as well. He's in a lot of heavy movies, but has also done a comedic style role or two, so I think he has range. Plus, his mellow style may complement David Banner's character as well. Sure, Ed Norton was the shizzle, but to be honest Ruffalo isn't half bad at all...and in an ensemble, you can't really complain if he's the weak link. Plus, J. Remmerwhatever, wasn't he in that bomb movie, The Hurt Locker? That won a lot of praise and I'm sure a weighty film like that owes some notice to the acting. I saw it, but I wasn't crazy about the film...but he did really well in the movie 12 and holding (indie flick) and we can forget about S.W.A.T. No one did well in that garbage. Same goes for 12 weeks later. He has a few movies on tap it looks like, so we can better judge after those. All in all, if they take a serious tone and not "family oriented gay" like Fantastic Suck or the Xmen cheese, etc...then I think we have a winner coming

i love ryan reynolds. not sure about green lantern, i dunno. I wasn't ever really into DC corny comics, and a lot of the green lanterns manifistations when they fought were pretty lame (at least they were in the cartoons, i never got into him as a comic book guy)

all i can say is that i'm glad they are re-doing Mad Max soon. cause i loved those movies, but since mel came out of the closet with his bigotry, i refuse to watch them or any other film of his. I wonder if he is still the hero of christiandom that he was when he made passion lol

lol Puddy, relax. I actually emailed my cousin who is into rare vinyl to see if he knew any resources. And for the record, I found what you said about magellan's swaying me to keep with Garmin, so I def found what you said the most helpful you're so serious lately, I've seen you cussing around here!

Virginia Beach at Lake Erie, of all things. I travel like 3 hours to the real virginia beach (ok maybe more), and 6.5 to lake erie's fake one lol

hmm ok. I never researched the magellan's durability. My Garmin was ok, it worked well for a long time but started fading too quickly in my opinion. I wonder if keeping it constantly in my armrest sapped it?

lol that doesn't solve my problem, because i'm constantly getting texts, phone calls, and emails. So I can't keep picking up the phone and losing my way. No one else has experience with standalone units?
