Dude, ASUS makes parts for A LOT of desktop computers.! (i think we already went thru this on here not long ago. lol) ASUS makes a lot of parts, but mostly known for motherboards Buy an HP, it has an ASUS motherboard, etc. It's actually a Taiwan company, but where do you think you're going to get a Computer from.. Detroit.!? Here.. I wouldn't go by what your dad says about computers if he thinks ASUS is a bad choice.. otherwise tell him to pay for the Mac. ;D

Yea it was exactly what i thought it would be.. its such a bummer, but there are a lot of things just like this that go on daily all over the world with other animals, along with other wrong doings everywhere.. :-\ I would love to get in that guys face, you know the one. (the guy pretending to film them back, & yelling at them) HATE that guy. I'm gonna get my Mercury levels check at my next check up.

It's an idea that almost everyone has had at one time or another.. dont bother unless you have DEEP pockets, or it will fail.. Not to mention there are about 1000+ other ones out there already trying & failing.. so good luck. lol Wanna buy Gamelobby.? And for a clan that has had its ups & downs here at UF, i think that might have been the worst post you could have made. lol

He has laptop, he is looking for a desktop. But if he was looking for a laptop, i would recommend the ASUS, that i just got ($500) way more than the Acer for $500. (but i do think there is an Acer out there for $300)

From what I understood you only get the demo's for the subscription fee. You would still have to purchase the full games! If that's the case, I don't ever see this thing taking off anytime soon. The publishers are jumping on it just for the fact that Gamestop is out of the picture with this type of system. AGREE 100%

If it does what they say, & it works as good as we all would need it to.. (not like PC) Yea it would be very competitive.!! Imagine just paying a monthly fee like Netflix & having every game at your finger tips. The thing is getting everyone to jump on it, otherwise you'll be playing by yourself. (we would have to start "Onlive" clans)

They are saying Dec 09 is the start of Winter 09.. So they have till the end of Feb 2010 to make their Winter 09 deadline. It's not gonna happen, otherwise we would see a LOT more info about it by now. Maybe by the end of 2010.

Any new desktop will have Windows 7 installed. Talk to YO Bird, he can build you one, or steer you in the right direction, more locally. PC all the way.!! You aren't going to get a good new Mac for $1200. > ASUS - $1199 <
