Yay! That's the effing spirit sir.

This is just unbelievable. It doesn't matter if Shane had any creative input on the Spoof Ads. We've (Shane, Tow, & I) made it clear that he didn't. But, the Ads and the concept art for the T-Shirts belong to UF, so we/they can do anything they want to do with them. I mean, they're just T-Shirts for Christ's sake. We're not leaving clans out, they just haven't been spoofed yet. It's really that simple. Also, do the New York Yankees have to use the word "vintage" if they sell you a Babe Ruth T-Shirt (so as not to slight any current players)? No. So why is it necessary for us to use it? We didn't do these things "for" the clans that we spoofed, we did them for the community to have something to chuckle at, while they listened to our lil ol podcast. These T-Shirts are just a cool way to remember the Spoof Ads we used to do, or will do in the future. Nothing more. We thought folks would enjoy them. And, we certainly never imagined anybody would feel slighted if they weren't included. Should we just make Spoof Ads/T-Shirts for the clans who currently populate UF? Did I mention that creating Spoof Ads or T-Shirts requires a considerable amount of time, and yes.... even money? Come on guys, let's be realistic here. If you want your clan to have T-Shirts, create & sell them yourselves. And as far as Spoof Ads go, just be patient. We've already been discussing our next one. Who knows, the next clan we spoof, could be yours. For the record, this thread is a great example of the kind of thing that might getcha' spoofed. Now....let's hug it out, and carry on. ~V~

Welp....I might as well get in on this. First of all....Tow, that's why you'll always be my ever lovin' man sir. Second, this whole Spoof Ad thing has spiraled out of control within this thread. As my esteemed colleague pointed out above...most of these Spoof Ads were crafted as a clever way to shine a light on the greatness, or not-so-greatness of a particular clan. No clan (to the best of my knowledge) ever said, "Hey, make a Spoof Ad for our clan!". In fact, any clan that we spoofed (with a few exceptions), earned the right to be spoofed. There were a few that just happened to fit into some hilarious, drug induced concept, that Tow came up with while sitting on the shitter. But, for the most part, if you were being spoofed, it was because you had said or done something to warrant it. As to why I haven't done many Spoof Ads since then. It's simple. A.) Out of respect for my partner in crime, it just didn't seem right to "leave it in the act" so to speak. and B.) I just don't have the time. It's hard enough for me to write, and produce a complete podcast, much less having to write, and produce new Spoof Ads as well. It's alot harder to do this stuff than most of you realize. Plus, it seems like fewer clans screw up around here. Tow was in charge of the spoof dept. I would take his script, and do what I do. But, I would always have a complete concept in front of me before I even opened the mic. As for making money off of our "vintage" ideas. Are you kidding me? Why not? The shirts aren't free. And if you want to own one, you have to spend a few bucks. I really wish we could just hand them out for free, but that's the name of the game. Besides, I don't think we're in any danger of getting rich off them, but again, even if we did...why not? Honestly, I'm kind of shocked at some of the things I've read in this thread. While we created them, the Spoof Ads do not belong to me, or to Tow. They belong to the community. And that's as it should be. ~V~

Urgent Frequency E3 Debrief (Part 1) is live!!!!
V1P3R_1 replied to V1P3R_1's topic in General Discussion
SixAxis is/was not applicable (at least not @ E3) for Socom 4. As far as The Move goes. I think it will be cool for people new to the franchise. As far as the "old salts", IMO, they'll prefer the good old fashioned DualShock. I won't do a complete review of the game here (as I plan on doing that on the blog this week!). Hope that helps sir. ~V~ -
In part 1, of a very special 2 part, E3 wrap-up. We talk about Sony's big showing @ E3. This ep. includes Shane's wrap of the Sony Press Conference, a sneak peek of some forthcoming "high profile" products from Sony (Socom 4, Killzone 3, Gran Turismo 5, The Move, 3D & more), and our exclusive Socom 4 interview with ZIpper Interactive's Travis Steiner. It's the Urgent Frequency E3 Debrief! And that's just the first episode. Enjoy. Hooyah! ~V~ http://www.urgentfury.com/podcast

I think I speak for your hot coworker/s when I say...EWWWWWW!!! Whether it works or not, I don't think I need to mention the moral issue that this raises. And I'm pretty sure this might just borderline being illegal. lol Just sayin'. Besides....what ever happened to the good old fashioned sexual fantasy? That way, you get your happy ending, and your co-worker gets to enjoy his/her right to privacy. I like boobies as much as the next guy (unless you're the guy willing to spend an hour on PS, erasing your co-workers top to see them....THAT guy likes boobies way more than me). But, C'MON!!!! If I wanted to see someone's boobs that bad, I'd just ask her if I could see them. lol Carry on. ~V~

Nothing but a thing sir. You know how I/we roll. We're all family. We didn't have all the details (nor do we need them), we just knew it was the right thing to do. Sorry for your loss. Much love. She was a joy to work with. She's as smart as she is beautiful. As you could tell, she was down to Earth, a little weird, and a lotta funny. She was great! I loved it. You can blame that on my fleet fingered, fat head colleague Shane, who insisted on sending tidbits of insightful information during the course of the entire interview. I'm a doctor, not a pool man...there was nothing I could do. Thanks Shane...thanks alot. You ruined it for everyone. I hope you're proud of yourself. BTW....Skype is the future. That is all. ~V~

Featuring an exclusive interview with Qore's (Available on the PSN) Audrey Cleo!!!! http://www.urgentfury.com/podcast/

We must all keep in mind that everything we saw in terms of the S4 video....was a "pre-alpha build". Meaning....we're still a few steps away from anything resembling the actual game. Fact is, the environment, characters, functionality, and practically everything we saw in the footage, may not even end up in the finished product. With that being said, and with the exception of The Move, I did like alot of what I saw. Viva La Zipper!!!!

I can't believe you went out of your way to complain about it. Well, sorry it's so long (giggity) Path. But, the lengthy discussion was warranted IMO, that's why it was one of the topics we chose. There are tons of gamers who are concerned that last Sunday's PSN crash could have way bigger implications than just losing a few trophies in the future. Producer's Note: For the record, the actual discussion was twice as long. ~V~ -
Urgent Frequency Ep. 61 is up!!!! State Of The Gaming Union

Fury stands corrected. Honest mistake. It was indeed Captain John Price who uttered the chilling catchphrase during the intro to Endgame. Good catch Nemesis. Way to be on yer toes!!! You get the Commander Fury No Prize!!! Producer's Note: I noticed my mistake on my second listen. But, obviously, it was too late. Typically, I try to proof (listen to) each Ep. once it's been completed. But, because of the length of this particular episode. I just didn't. Oooops! ~V~ -
Listen & enjoy!!! http://www.urgentfury.com/podcast/

Filmmaker/Writer Kevin Smith gets tossed from a SW Airlines flight for being too large, and he's none to happy about it (who would be). Kevin effing Smith....are you serious? He's as smart, as he is crazy. Good luck Southwest. You'll need it sir. Hear the emergency SModcast SWodcast by clicking the link. http://www.smodcast.com/

Hi V1p3R Sorry to say but the music from the horsmen splash intro trailer is most definately not from Carmina Burana. I respectfully disagree. However, if you can correct me, please do. Hi V1p3R I can understand how the intro music can easily be mistaken as it does sound similar in some respects but this is O Fortuna Carl Orff and this is the Horsemen intro http://www.urgentfury.com/horsemen/ As you can hear they are not the same peice of music. So the mystery remains ..Unless someone can solve it? Bad link sir. Wouldn't play for me.
