hmmm. I never thought that there could be an issue. The pc is the one Im on now annd it runs pretty good.. gets slow sometimes though. I will try using the chips one at a time see what happens.... It says in the manual that if you only have one ship use it in dimm1 (closest to the processor) The motherboard can handle 4gig total.

My dell dimension 4600 desktop calls for this: Pc2700 or pc3200 DDR SDRAM non ECC Currently it has: Dimm1: 256mb ddr pc2700 Dimm3: 512mb pc2700 Dimm2: 256mb pc2700 Dimm4: Empty My Question: My computer only reads 256mb ram when I go to check the properties of "my computer". I think the reason is because I didnt pair my ram like I should have. Not sure though. I am going to get some more ram. What should I put in it. Should I replace it all and just drop in (2) gig chips? Or should I keep the (2) stock 256 chips and ADD (2) GiG chips?

classic! A guy that doesnt have either system has such STRONG feelings towards one and such hate towards the other. The reason they didnt fix it was to weed ou the morons. Thoset that toss around thier 360 while playing games should be playing games. Its like saying dodge didnt fix thier tires because when you run over nails, they go flat.... DUH! Couldnt have said it any better chili. I love this stuff. 360 sucks cause you cant toss it around while playing! Get real. Have you played Final Fantasy XI. Its older but it kinda reminds me of home...well kinda sort of. It would be sweet if there were some missions you could do for money. Money that can only be spent on items for your home/charactor.

Its funny because you, yourself said that it was better than anything that 360 or wii has. When If we really thought about it, its not. Because on 360 we dont have to leave a game and go into this virtual world to talk strategy with the clan. We do this thing called private chat. This is possible even while we all play the game of our choice. We dont have to sit there doing nothing. We can play a game if we want and the game of your choice. Mabey you should spend some time on the box and you would see how user friendly it is. If you wanna talk clan support and those that "GET IT" hope on to LIVE. And dont worry about mic issues and having to key up and hear your echo 10 seconds later when the lag plays your voice. All in all, This is a great concept. But still, its just that. Nothing worth while is working. (I do understand this is a beta and will await the release before personally judging) Dude, I still will say that you don't get it. As a 3d artist and gamer this is a great day to be present. You can justify your xbox all you want. It will not nor has it ever lived up to PS3. You can try and convince yourself that till you're blue in the face. Your network had a year jump on PS3, so it is better organized right now. But PS3 is much more inventive and will win out in the long run. I'm sorry you can't appreciate a 3d environment that is much more robust then "chatting" LOL on mics. This is the beginning of something really big in the gaming world and it's too bad that some don't see that yet. You will. I promise. When we can start dwl our own content like, pictures, art and even our own 3d models you're going to see everyone jump on the HOME bandwagon. LMAO! why do you think all major companies are buying up server space on SecondLife? Cause it's the NEXT thing man. It's going to be the same with HOME. My position is from both sides. I own both systems and enjoy them both. My point is that you think this HOME thing is better than anything 360 has. And your WAY wrong. Unless your talking about being able to walk around. I was talking more of efficency. Do you have a 360. Have you ever been on LIVE? This really isnt a who is better than who. As they both are great machines. Home is pretty, Your rite. If you like pictures and advertisments, home is great. I do get to do alot more on sims though.

These are the exact same thing I said about socom when it was a beta.....Still waitting for it to get better. :-\ It is boreing now but really hope it gets better.

Yeah I definatley needed this. When im on the box, I dont stop playing the games because they work rite. But on PS3 I need something to do while I wait for patches.
