Its Not against the warrenty to pull out the hard drive, If it was it would not be as easy as it is, Sony wants there equipment to be upgradable this time around, it extends the life a console.

All your info follows your PSN ID, you could always ask BB to exchange the PS3 and ask them to keep your HD and swap it for the new one.. They did that here in london, Ontario.

Pirating of BLu-Ray is possible already, but either format will suck to download video, unless you have VZ fios your going to be there a good couple of days downloading 1 movie of either HD format. -

Now I know the prices seem expensive but here in Canada they come free with quite a few cell phone/MP3 players. I got my for $60 from a guy who got it with his phone and No idea how touse it.

Thats because we dont pay for servers, Everyone complains about the servers when they are free, and then if there is discussion of a subscribed service like live, the Sony users complain about that. So lose, lose situation.

If you plan on doing any torrent downloading Avoid Linksys they have a tendency to hold open packets, and bottle neck your system and always require a power cycle.

For the map pack they work , you must first visit the PS store on the PS3 download the PS2 hard drive patch, then make sure you r flash drive is in one of the left 2 usb ports, then go download.
