Deadzone is how far you push the joystick before it recognizes it's being pushed. So if you have it set high, when you barely push the stick it recognizes it. Acceeration is how fast it goes from 0 to all out pushed forward. Best way I can explain it anyways. LOL

That happened twice last night, GS. At first I thought it was my connection, so I ran a speed test and everything was normal. We'll make sure Shane passes that along.

I finally got to play some last night. Is it just me, or do the load screens take much longer now? Maybe I was just being a bit impatient last night, but the majority of load screens seemed to take forever.

Just another example of people willing to exploit any flaws to gain an advantage. It really sucks, but it seems to be rampant in every facet of life these days. You would think as far as video game development goes, that they would sit down with a list of known flaws/glitches/exploits from other games and be more proactive about guarding against them. I suppose that is too much to ask for, since the almighty dollar is most important on this spinning dirtball.

LOL. I'm glad to see DIrk and J Kidd get some hardware. After my Nuggets got trounced, I was rooting for the Mavs. They played great to clsoe out the season.

I don't drink them. While I was doing the second job last month, I was drinking Redbull for a few nights in a row. Then all the sudden my sleep pattern was horrible and I'd wake up more tired than normal. Stopped drinking them and went back to coffee, no sleep issues after that.

Shadow, it is the patch we are waiting on. The spawn issue, booted players, host can't get back in, are the issues that need resolved. Using the in game ladder isn't that big of an issue. So the map will be random, not a big deal. Having a disadvantage for guys that spawn late is.

I am a huge fan of the no-boom tournaments of days gone by. However, I have to side with Ruthless about no boom in S4. Maybe if the cover system was turned off, it might work. I would have to play like that first to see if it works. But if the cover system is on, no-boom would be horrible. Hell even with grenades, people won't leave the cover for a whole game. -

If I had an issue with you specifically, it wouldn't "appear" that I did. You would know, as I'm not one to dance around the edges. As for the "however I don't think expressing your emotions in a post that wasn't even directed to you" statement, I was under the impression this is a public forum. However it appears that you don't want it to be this way, so I can add a whole new set of infractions to try and stop people from replying when they aren't addressed directly, if it suits you. What was "emotional" about that post? Nothing jumps out at me. I was just asking some questions of my own. Because I'm really trying to understand how the "fixes" you guys keep talking about would help ensure a fair tournament environment. Like this: "Nope not really anymore, once you know the trick there's really no respawn delay and if there is, it's like 5 second and that's because you did it to slow." In Bale Out, in less than 5 seconds, a team can be at the dojo area in the middle. HUGE advantage. Like I said earlier, even without all the other problems, this alone means tournament matches are not fair.

I will play. Now, I have a few questions for you, Caracarn. Do your mics work sporadically in the Challenge lobby? Do some of your players have issues entering the room at any time? Have you been hung up on a challenge because it doesn't go through? Does the list of clan not show up for all of your members? Do you have any shooters booted when/if the match finally launches? Do you have shooters that don't spawn until 10-45 seconds into the round? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then you may begin to understand the tourney admins reluctance to start a tourney that is virtually guaranteed to have multiple issues every war night. If you don't have those issues, then congratulations, your clan would be the only one I've heard of that doesn't. The spawn issue alone is enough to wreck the tourney. When one clan has even a 10 second headstart, it's a HUGE disadvantage. And that scenario happens virtually every game. Just an FYI for you, there are multiple discussions going on amongst the staff about how to try and proceed with a tournament with the current state of S4. You guys have been posting like the Staff are sitting on their thumbs and not doing anything. We are all just as eager as you to get out there and compete with our respective clans.

Yes, he does deserve life in prison. That was an execution. Plain and simple. Robber or not. Now had he went over to the kid and booted him a few times in frustration, that could have maybe been overlooked. If the kid died from the initial gunshot, it's a different story, imo.
