Yes, 30 points is still a cool down, even if it's several infractions added together. However, if you get an automatic cool down, those 30 points expire in 2 days. The points are treated separately. So in your example, the first 5 points would fall off.

We would like to take this time to explain the infraction system a bit, so everyone is aware of what is going on exactly. It has been modified, to correct a few things we felt needed changed. We do apologize for the haphazard way it was handled previously, and hopefully this will make it all a bit clearer. We feel that a system needs to be in place to keep everything civil on the forums. This is not a tool for silencing people, as everyone's input is valued. It is a tool to let people know when lines have been crossed. We fully expect that this will rarely be used here at UF, as most of the time, everyone is cordial. Infraction Level Inappropriate Language: 5points Inappropriate Posting in War Report: 5points Signature Rule Violation: 5points Inappropriate Clan Rep Posting: 10points Stirring the pot/Starting fights: 10points Disrespect of Other Member(s): 25points Disrespect of Staff or Directors: 25points Cool Down: 0points + automatic 2 Day Ban Inappropriate language: Pretty self explainatory. This is a public forum frequented by users of all ages, so we do need to keep that in mind while posting. Inappropriate posting in a War report: The only posts in the War reports should be the report itself and a confirmation. Keeping the reports clean ensures the Tournament Staff can get through them efficiently to keep stats updated. Signature rule violation: We encourage members to make signatures to show off their colors ,and or interests. However linking to outside tournament sites, or advertising items other than your clan itself is not allowed. X-rated signatures are also not acceptable. Inappropriate Clan Rep posting: In the clan rep sections, disputes are to be handled between the 2 clans involved and the Tourney admin. The secondary clan rep, and clan reps not involved are not to inject themselves into those conversations. Stirring the pot/Starting fights: Posting on threads trying to bait someone into an argument will not be allowed to continue. Trying to provoke another member by posting back handed comments is not how issues are resolved. Disrespecting Other members/Staff/Directors: Flaming and insulting other members is not something we condone at UF. Cool Down: Anytime a member flies off the handle, a 2-day cool down period will be considered. It is a measure to allow people to cool off, before they dig themselves into a hole that results in a long term ban. It is not our intention to ban for extended amounts of time, and hopefully this will help people calm down so we don't have to. As before infraction points will accumulate. At 50 points, an automatic 4 day ban will ensue. Infraction points will expire in 30 days from the day they are issued. The list of ban lengths is as follows: Banned Users: 30points 2 Days Banned Users: 50points 4 Days Banned Users: 100points 7 Days For any points above 100, the length of Ban will be determined by the Staff after looking at all the facts associated with the infractions.

After playing incessantly since the midnight release, I haven't missed Demo like I thought I would. Maybe that will change as I log more hours, who knows. I do however HATE the new game modes in classic mode when in a random room. Nobody communicates, nobody really tries for the objectives, and all that jazz. -

LOL. Sequoyah called me about 10 pm, Monday night. As soon as she heard his rirng tone, she rolled her eyes and said, and so it begins. Barely 48 hours after release, and I think she's already fed up. -
Here is a thread to post up if your clan is looking for opponenets for the clan challenge feature on S4. As anyone who has used it knows, sometimes there aren't many clans with 12-16 players on the clan list.

Hush, I personally have not had this much fun on a Socom title since S2. There are still a few issues that need resolved, but even with thsoe, this game is FUN! We played all our clan challenges last night on classic settings, and it was as close to the old days as I've felt. Loads more tactical than even S2, especially since the R&G fire from the hip guys are at a disadvantage. I fire from the hip enough to know that it is feasible, you just have to use it correctly. It doesn't work at 50+ meters like it used to. So far one of my favorite things, are lopsided maps are finally back. Take Rush Hour for instance. The terrorists have a huge advantage on that map. They spawn with the high ground and lots of sniper positions available. If the seals aren't paying attention, they can get sniped coming out of their spawn. Especially since they spawn on ground level and have to work uphill. We have a few guys in our clan that didn't like the beta at all, yet they were on ALL day yesterday. One of the biggest differences I noticed was the look speed. 10 times faster than it ever was on the Beta. I actually set it up full bore at first, like I had it in the beta, and had to turn it down almost to default. The guns take longer to mod up, the maps are incredible. Abandoned is amazing. After playing it, the S2 in HD project will be horrible. There is no way they can make the old map look like that without rebuilding them from scratch like they did here. Like I said there are still the mic, lobby, and camera issues, but it still plays incredible. -

Yes it is ranked. I modded up my ACR during a challenge last night. With so many clans at UF, we should all start using it in the evenings. We had a full boat last night too, and we did end up waiting to find another clan with that many on a few times. Maybe a universal thread in this section will suffice. -

It's kind of a pain, Nem. You go to the community page, then can send them to people on your friends list. You highlight their name and click X, then a dialog box opens and invite to clan is on the list. However, if they are; offline, busy, or at the main menu, it tells you that the attempt failed. You can also do it in game, if they are in the room with you. -

Ain't that the truth!! Last night we just started doing clan challenges. It's an easier way to keep everyone one the same team in the same room. All the matches are ranked so, you can still level up your weapons and such. The only rreally strange part is that you don't have a clue what map you play. -
I will not stop whining!! I have 2 weeks off from the second job, and would like to play some golf!!

Woke up this morning to frozen white stuff falling from the sky. I doubt it will stick to the roads, but damn, i just need a little sunshine. This has been going off and on for two weeks now. I am curious if anyone else is still getting snow. Gotta love Wyoming!!

Thanks for posting this!!! The wife and I saw her on Conan, right after he moved to TBS, but I forgot to write it down and couldn't remember the band. Now I can go find them on I-tunes. She is dead sexy. And that voice, oh man, that voice. Oh, and she got a purty mouth.

Same here. Hell they usually won't even have it when they open in the morning and I have to wait until noon when UPS gets there. -
That is awesome. I haven't bought a madden game since that all went down. No competition has made Madden a fairly stale franchise, which is what I expected to happen.

I used to agree with Peebrain. After the whole mess with the US auto industry, and watching what Ford did then, and is continuing to do now, I've changed my tune. Besides that new FB Mustang, and the F-series are sooo sick, you'd have to be crazy not to like them.
