101's new web site is freaken awsome, I love it. Excelent theme, looks sharp and VERY original. They did a FANTASTIC job. I encourage the entire U.F. community to check it out. And no......they did not pay me to say this.

Thats cool SMOKE...Tip of the hat to you sir, says alot about your recognition to your personal affairs and your voluntary responsability to your friends here in U.F. Ahhh......NAT TYPE. I think thats where the answer may lie. I know that some people are not computer literate enough (myself) to find and or change this setting, if it is accessible on your own behalf. I would imagine it might be in some cases set by your service provider, maybe ? Well, cant speculate, might want to check out what BIG MONEY...suggested. Hey, thanks everyone for the input.

WHY ?............Why when sometimes, some days, but not all, is it that you cant always connect with your friends in COD4 ? What is the science behind this occurrance ? It is maken me mad as hell at times, I just wanna toss the disc like a frisbie ! This happens to myself and members of my clan, [tdH]. Some days it really gets my blood boiling. I really like this game.....really I do......but DAMN ! I HATE THIS GAME !! So, would some one please educate me ? ! TY

Well, ya its pretty cool to get a feel for his excitement. Here at [tdH] we have a few NEW MEMBERS who experianced U.F. for the first time. Yup, pretty typical response "FREAKEN INTENSE" and they want more. You definately get what you put in around here, great clans and great individuals='s a fantastic event that gets the blood flowing. On a personal note, I cant particularly participate due to me constantly on the move, being a truck driver. I am forced to sit thus far out of the action. However, I keep a TIGHT GRIP on the action threw the phone , our website and U.F. website. There is not a match that goes by where I am not a NERVOUS WRECK until I get the call IMMEDIATELY after with the final outcome. I also need to say that good , bad , or indifferrant , I am proud of [tdH]'s progress thus far. Still a long way to go for all of us. Keep the good times roll'n all !

Well, this post has some what turned into somethink other than honoring a HERO. And thats ok, cause that HERO would applaud us for discussing such topics. As in my reply earlier this week on this post, I mentioned some other HISTORIC figures. I think we should NEVER forget the past, and that history has a tendancy to repeat itself in one way or another. I tend to believe DR. KING would be inviting to the idea of a little history reminder for some of us. So as I mentioned the above people that did not die in vain. Can we discuss what some of their dreams and ambitions were? How they were iimplemented and are we still persuing them? PRESIDENT kennedy had the potential to forever change the face of this great nation ! an imvaluable speaker, he captivated an audiance. He manged to say things that we were thinking , what we felt needed to be said , and of a brighter , clearer understanding of what needed to be changed in government. Sure he aasked what "WE CAN DO FOR OUR COUNTRY". But, he wanted and had brilliant plans for what the government could do better in collaboration with its people.....US ! Who knows now where and how we could have neded up had he lived. One vital bit of information that needs never to be forgotten is the POWER OF KNOWLEDGE. I tell you . as an individual I am never satisfied or content with believing there is an end just because some one say's there is, I always question , I always dig for answers, and I NEVER JUST SETTLE. This is a trait that I believe all of the important figures of our century had, now I'm not saying I am one of those people, but ........who knows, are you?

Its kind of strange how certain people who filled our hearts and minds with ways and means of a better life get taken away. HOFFA, KENNEDY, DR. KING , LENNON......etc. Kinda makes you think how these individuals had such an effect on us. Where would we be today had they lived ? I would imagine we wouldnt be in the RUT we are in now had they lived. I would imagine our government would be differant as well.......maybe.....better? I think so. Dont you ?

He was truley an asset to people of ALL races ! Maybe some day HIS DREAM will be reality. We can only do our best starting with ourselves who have not lost sight of HIS and OUR DREAMS to help brighten the future for racial equality. R.I.P. DR. THANKS HAVOC ! This suggestion in my eyes is un measureable. One of the greatest jestures I've learned in a very long time. Cant say enough how PROUD of our troops I am..........TY ! I cant wait for them to come HOME !!

Well........METAL GEAR, CONFRONTATION, SOCOM 4 (if it is released this year)

As not to sway away from the topic at hand within this post.......I dont agree with the idea. To me personaly, and I will advise my fellow CLAN's MEMBERS. Personally, in most part I agree with GOAT, "TWO WRONGS DONT MAKE A RIGHT" ! Some other things to concider in this matter would be as follows. PUBLIC IMMAGE, what kind of mesage does it send to perspective recruits, other clans, etc. Supposed you just enter a room and witness such chaos. You would think this room is not stable, as a CLAN LEADER, I take mental notes, and as I DISPISE such chaos, and un-respectable game play, I would tend to frown on such occasions. Look about and note names for future referance. Now I will admit, I hate the 203 in the spawn routine myself, but also somewhat endorse it to a degree. The way COD 4 is set up......as soon as you spawn, the GREEN LIGHT is on, and if you are skillfullenough to calculate and pull of a MULTI DEATH stunt, it gives your team the upper hand. It is an in-escapeable aspect of the game. I tend to keep this potential threat when I spawn in mind and take the proper measures to avoid it. I cant speak for everyone but myself, but I manage to avoid it rather well. It does not affect my game play, only affects the team your on when my other team mates are caught off gaurd. If you are not ready to ROCK and ROLL when you spawn, then you may need to get with the program. This game is much faster paced than SOCOM. I am not a fan of 203's, I refuse to use and personaly beleive it is a cheap kill, however, they made it an aspect of the game for a reason. In real life.....you gonna give the enemy the chance to take cover.....I didnt think so.

I cant think of a better cure for morning wood. Hell, night before, morning after....its all good, as long as you dont need to knaw your arm off to escape.

Let me start off by saying it is ALWAYS an HONOR and a PRIVALAGE to be in a coveted URGENT FURY tourney. On behalf of "TEAM DOUBLE HELIX", we wish all who participate CRUCIBLE-2 for COD 4 , the best of luck ! Ya this may sound a bit corny, but, we [tdH] don't take getting in lightly. As most of you do recognize us, some new clans may have heard of us or just meeting us for the first time, you all will get a garaunttee. TEAM DOUBLE HELIX will play with RESPECT, HONOR and INTEGRITY ! As many of you clans have experienced in the past with us well........we can lose with dignity. TDH would assign 4 permanant slots, the other four would be sign ups. The sign ups would be to promote web activity. We have some REAL lazy members . Im sure all of the clans do. If people complain about not playing then they were to lazy to put forth effort. That does not work LAZINESS ! Just food for thought, good luck ! TIP-TOE

Thanks for your suggestions and support. We at TDH, we're REAL tight. We base recruiting on cohesion with the clan, not so much as ability (hell, I'm clan leader, probably one of the weakest killers) and our numbers are relativly small in comparison to most of you larger clans. We are most likely going to leave COMBINED ASSAULT behind as soon as a couple of KEY people catch up with the times. The realy difficult thing is leaving behind the people who just cant catch up for now for what ever reason. THEY ARE OUR FRIENDS EQUALLY. The council recognizes that we need to attend to the needs of the whole but not forget the needs of the few. I believe it will work out in time. Unfortunately.......some will end up being left behind. For that I will be sorrowfull for. Progress and time waits for no one, especially the gaming industry. TDH COUNCIL will be patient for now, help those we can and wish those who just cant do it the very best of luck. We will keep the light on for them in the future should they find there way.....on there own (sigh) We are however recruiting new people in COD 4, using the same requirements as we have with SOCOM. We are also in the process of re-vamping our website. TDH web team unfortunately is not as knowledgfull as most of you experianced web people. None the less......we just hit a speed bump. TDH will be back on the tracks and rolling strong as time permits. TDH intends to be a strong honorable and respectfull clan of the future, we intend to ride along side of some of you juggernauts (you all know who you are). Some day, the TDH way ! Here we go ! I have a brand new laptop with a SPRINT MOBILE BROADBAND air card. Bothe are currently up to date in supporting features. I beleive it is possible to connect my PS3 on-line though my laptop v.i.a. the air card. What does every one think ? The reason I'm doing this is because I am a over the road truck driver. I live out of my tractor. I usually get on by means of a service called IDLEAIRE, or WI-FI. I would LOVE to be able to do this. I believe my LATENCY would not be all that bad. p.s. I am a computer MORON !! FYI TIP-TOE

Now that the CORE people are into the "OTHER WOMAN". The ones left behind are loosing the drive to play amongst themselves cause the others are not there. TDH COUNCIL was hoping the tourney would rally everyone back into shape, (at least the COUNCIL was hopeing) and make this our official last SOCOM COMBINED ASSAULT swan song. Or exit if you will. My brilliant plan did not work. I am disappointed in the lack of enthusiasim.   However......TDH is and will be GREATLY interested in any  future tourney's involving COD 4, and CONFRONTATION upon its release. As CLAN LEADER of [TDH], we are pulling out of UF BLACK. This clan is going through a tough transition. COD 4 is mainly to blame. Most of TDH is playing the game and loving it. We have a small amount of stragglers who have yet to get a PS3. Work schedule, availability, who knows, I am having severe difficulty getting people to practice, play or what have you. I believe that it would be in our best interest, as well as not to insult the integrity of URGENT FURY and its participants that we leave while the leaving is good. As CLAN LEADER, I extend my deepest oppologies for wasting every ones time and effort. Please excuse us. Hello all. Today has been my first appearance in these forums. It shall not be my last for I intend to make more use of this avenue. As [TDH] TEAM DOUBLE HELIX clan leader, I congratulate all who are invited. I hope , as well as for my clan, you all make a strong showing. TDH looks forward to doing battle with the honorable, the fair, and the good taste that I'm sure you all carry amongst yourselves. Those of you who have battled us before, (ROGUE7 for instance) know we carry ourselves with the utmost respect for our opponants. Although winning is great, I would like to say we are humble losers. The writing is on the preverbial wall. All that denie what they should consciously realize is that the PATRIOTS (my old home state team, and still long time fan) the juggernauts of the NFL are and intend to re-write the history books. They will topple the CHARGERS ! Move on to my next prediction......GREENBAY ! Â Â REDEMPTION is in the air people ! Â Â Â Â But anways.....It is typical of the PATS to acknowledge problem situations as they present themselves. They always seem , for the most part, to "RISE TO THE OCCASION". They are a smash mouth , better be on your toes style of play. Â BELICHICK in my opinion, is todays top NFL MASTER MIND ! He has risen from the tutilage of some former great gurus as the likes of the TUNA, etc. ....Then you got the pine warmer turned super hero in the likes of brady. That boy is COOL ON HIS STOOL ! Then.....alas.....THE MAN! Â RANDY "holy BLEEP, he caught that" MOSS. From earlier times in his career to now, I had my doubts. Could he fit in, could he grow up, is he capable of perfoming what he says he can do ? YUP ! Very surprised and made confident that we now have the new and improved dynamic duo in the likes of MONTANA to RICE as we see today with BRADY to MOSS. Watch out !
