my sources (espnews) tell me that the NHL will have another outdoor hockey game at Wrigley field where the Chicago Blackhawks will host the defending Stanley Cup Champions the Detroit Red Wings, on January 1st of 2009. Now its not official but my source tells me that there will be a announcement about the game later this month. I for one believe this is going to a great game to watch, just like the winter classic was last year, even though the Buffalo Sabres lost to Pittsburgh.

i heard on espn that the guy who buried the jersey might have a lawsuit on his hands again something stupid as this....there will be a lawsuit involved..everyone just has to sue everyone these days ;D -

im from niagara falls and it does suck that buffalo didnt make the playoffs....the winter classic was a great game...was at the endzone opposite of the jumbotron lets go buffalo....next year

Ok this is what i gotta say bout this Ovechkin is a great individual player...he takes a shit load of shots and he is rewarded with goals...he can play a great physical game...he doesn't back down...he'll get straight in your face...also he has a great mental game...he can get into so many players head and screw with them...which is the reason i personally think he is better than Crosby. now with Crosby...yes he has missed a lot of games so that plays into affect in this debate of whose better...Crosby can score goals when their team needs it...also the reason i don't think he is better because he has a great line with him, they know how to score as well....also i chose Ovechkin because of the fact that Crosby has a better line....we haven't seen Crosby at his full potential and what havoc he can truly cause. LETS GO BUFFALO!!!!!

well im a Sabres fan and i strongly dislike both Crosby and Ovechkin but i would have to say Ovechkin is better than Crosby lets go buffalo!!!
