how many clans or players here are in the Illinois/Chicagoland area OR are somewhere near enough where they would potentially make a little road trip into the Windy City to have some sort of a UF "meet-n-greet?"

But, Im planning a little holiday at the end of the year to California, so it'd be great if I could meet up with some other UF heads. I'll see what the response is like closer to the time when I have definite dates and where ill be staying

Im from michigan, but I fly to chicago all the time so it sounds like fun count me in.

oregon is also quite a ways a way.. however if we had enough notice.. i think that a handful of us could make it.. just depends on what the goal ends up being .. and how long we have to prep.. would be sick to have UF conference.. like a mini E3.. get Dv8 and some others to help make it a bad ass experience.. have a LAN tourney there.. like 3v3 and 5v5 brackets.. RIOT ACT winners get airfare paid.. etc..

Late summer.. early august or so is best time for me..

 

Chicago is a blast and a good location since it's fairly close to middle of the country. Also Chicago flights aren't as expensive as Florida or California and New York.

 

If we get going on this, It would be a good idea to get a hold of a local Hotel and make arrangements for discounted rooms at a group rate. Most all hotels will offer cut rates when a group rents a number of rooms. It would also be a way to get everyone staying at the same hotel.
