So...initial Horsemen reaction

Hate the horseman idea. I want to play 4v4 not 3v3.

 

It was fun to gun with people I would not normally gun with. I would probably do it again.

I would HARDLY call saying "I've never seen so many people walk by me as the horseman" key strategic information LOL...Especially since that was Tool's take and he is no longer the horseman and hasn't been since week 1, I'm your huckleberry though .

 

You might not, but minor stuff like that makes a difference. Its a matter of perception, thats fine if elements seem to useless to you and important to me. I want to have fun, win.. and win fair.

 

I love the tourny to, I don't like some of the tension..., I like the laugh, joke, fun parts of it.

I think Rockets should be taken out and also the horsemen rule and this tournament will be amazing. Its challenging having one on one or battles with people with guns and see who will come up on top.

i agree with that statement, it does feel a lot more intimate and builds stronger bonds between people not in your clan(if thats what your team is composed of..).

Yea by my understanding there is going to be a loop of regular tourneys like this. Ronin has happened, Horsemen is now and Tribes is next month. Im guessin the loop will start again with Ronin thereafter unless they have a fourth installment in the works....

To each his own, but I wouldn't look too much into Tool's statement is all I'm saying. Especially since he is not the horseman anymore. We all love the fun and joking, and the tension is just bygones being bygones.

Our group enjoyed the tourney and thought it was a nice break from the usual full clan tourney. I hope you do it again, maybe have a demo one with less minutes or something.

I didn't underestimate anyone. And thats cool, our only loss was illegitamate.! LoL No I'm kidding I dont need you people crying b/c I said it either. It's suppose to fun and so far I've had alot of fun in this tournament. Im glad to have made it this far and HOPE we make it to final game. I wish all 4 the best.

Im a little worried about the next one, because we (I) have never played with members from CTU that I can remember. I haven't got to shoot with any of you so i have no idea what to expect. To answer some running questions on this thread, due to the overwhelmingly positive response to this tourney, we certainly will be running another UF Horsemen tourney in the future. It will remain a 4v4 tourney (in keeping with the Horsemen mythos) but some of the match parameters WILL be tweaked.

I believe many of you will be more than pleased.

 

We're very happy and excited that the newly-introduced Horsemen concept was so well-received. We believed it was a good idea, but we didn't expect it to have the reception that it did...so thank you all and we're very happy you've enjoyed the tourney thus far.

And thank you for providing a place with wonderful competition and ideas that go outside of normal matches. I've had MUCH more fun being in the UF tourny's than playing the game. In fact, had it not been for this tourny.. specifically., I might not even still be playing SOCOM. So thanks to your ideas and the community, it made my purchase of SOCOM worth it.

Oh Yeah Having a sub available next time would be great. A lot of teams eneded up playin a man down on occasion. Even being able to have one backup would have helped.
