Interesting. Uverse has some good deals on packages too. I just got a ad from them for one of their 3 services free for 6 months if I sign up for all 3. TV wise they get the same channels as Comcast and I already have their home phone service, so really it's a good deal for me to switch. Saves me money, but I lose a bit of speed from the switch. With Uverse I have my own dedicated line I believe, so unlike Comcast, my speeds will always be consistent if anything. I'm still deliberating though. Probably the next time I get an outage it will force my hand (which happens often with Comcast). -
Tried to get on around 2 CST, finished cleaning up on single player trophies just now and tried again. No luck. Time to complete Spec Ops I guess, platinum trophy here I come.

Yeah, Comcast pretty much has everything on lock down here (I'm fairly close to Irish). It's either AT&T Uverse (I think their line is fiber optic) or Shitcast. I have wanted to get Verizon FiOS for a while, but it isn't available here yet (been hearing that for 2 years). I don't have issues with this for the most part, but every once in a while I cannot connect to the PSN. This is probably why. I run a direct line from my modem to my PS3 for Nat 1 connection and get good speeds always, so I can't really complain until they throttle me and I cannot log in. -
Yeah I heard about this before launch. It is a bit over the line, but it didn't stop me from going to town LOL.

My picks were FUGLY. A lot of busts, including my Scrubbies er Cubbies. :'( Somebody please be dumb enough to take Milton Bradley off our hands! He is a cancer. Big Z too. Excellent athlete and competitor, but his emotions will never allow him to take that next step to elite status.

Grab Tashard Choice. He should be a nice play even if Barber is ready to go this Sunday. Felix Jones is definitely out, so Choice will be the only fully healthy Cowboys runner. If Barber is a no-go, Choice could have a MONSTER week.

I would assume more than the 60's. I'll give Gamestop a buzz tomorrow and find out, maybe the quote on my 80 non backwards changed from the measly $100 they offered me when the Slim launched.

My honest advice here. Move Harvin from W/T to W/R sending Ward to the bench and then Carlson to W/T. Olsen and Carlson should BOTH have big weeks. Carlson had I believe 10 targets last week, but unfortunately it only translated into 3 catches. Look for he and Seneca to build a rapport this week as the Colts will try to key on Burleson and Housh. Honestly I don't like Bush this week vs the Jets, but I like him a lot better than Ward. I can't justify starting a Buc RB right now or any Buc player in general. I agree with Money on LT...Leave him on the bench even if he suits up. He'll be splitting reps IF he plays and it's against the Steelers Run D. Enough said lol.

So who is ready for some hockey?! Hawks open Friday morning against the Panthers in Finland. It will be fun watching Hockey at 11 AM lol. They have another game against the Panthers in Finland Saturday, but I'll be in the duck blind ALL day, so I'll have to catch the highlights for that one. I'm pumped for the season though! Red Wings be prepared, the Central now belongs to the Hawks!

Yeah, it came down to Warner-Boldin-Roy Williams for me vs Peyton going into SNF. Well we all know how that went. Warner played like crap and Roy Williams didn't do a whole lot on MNF. :'(

WOW. What are the 20's going for? I bet I got hosed when I sold my 20 gig to pick up an 80 since I needed more space than the launch 20's could offer (I sold it in September 08). I want to exchange my 80 to get a SLIM, but don't want to spend any money to do so. Gamestop only offers $100 for 80 gig's, so I'll stick with the 80 for now until some type of deal comes up.

Server Update (1.51) Posted by Confrontation Online Team On Tuesday, September 29, there will be a server side update deployed during the regular morning maintenance window. The issues addressed in this update are: Added a new Brazilian channel Fixed multiple Tournament issues Once this update is verified - we will resume tournaments, the first of which will be a 256 team 8v8 player tournament that starts on Oct. 1 at 10:00am. The sign up period will be from Sep. 29 at 3 pm PDT until Sep. 30 at 11:59 pm PDT. We’ll also be setting up a weekend tournament with sign up on Oct. 1 & 2 (tournament to start on Oct. 3). Eli has made these receivers into possible stud receivers. Super Mario and Steve Smith have really stepped their game up thus far this season. Also Kevin Boss has gotten off to a considerably slow start, but he'll get open when teams start giving Manningham and Smith the respect they deserve. That or the duo will continue to burn secondaries all season lol. Also Washington is just....awful this year. They barely beat the Rams at home and lost to the Lions. Enough said LOL.

ESPN reporting Chad Pennington out for year by Brian Biggane Injured Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington has a torn capsule in his right shoulder and will miss the remainder of the season, ESPN reported on its website Monday. Senior NFL analyst Chris Mortenson quoted league sources saying Pennington will seek a second opinion from renowned orthopedic specialist Dr. James Andrews, who has operated on the same shoulder twice previously, after the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Pennington underwent an MRI on his throwing shoulder Monday morning after leaving Sunday’s game early in the third quarter of the Dolphins’ 23-13 loss at San Diego. Coach Tony Sparano remained optimistic at his press briefing later that morning, insisting that he had ruled anything out and “we’ll wait and see.†Pennington’s contract expires at the end of the year; there had been no discussions reported on talk of an extension. His absence hands the starting job to backup Chad Henne, who completed 9-of-19 passes for 92 yards Sunday, with one interception being returned 32 yards for a touchdown by Eric Weddle. Rookie Pat White becomes the backup for now, but the Dolphins are likely to seek a veteran for insurance if Henne were to go down. Among those who could contend for that job are Brooks Bollinger, Gus Frerotte and former Dolphins A.J. Feeley and Cleo Lemon.
