Ok, I'm sorry but I cannot bite my tongue. Johnson nobody is looking for AieL to be ousted or sentenced to death. Everyone that left is looking for the punishment to fit the crime. They had 4 ringers, that we know about, on their roster. The punishment is they lose those 4 gunners and the 4 roster spots? So basically, they just end up back where they were before the roster update, since they don't have a full roster. This punishment does NOTHING for the sake of deterrence in the future, nor upholding of the rules in the eyes of the rest of the remaining clans. If a punishment were handed out where the clan PROVEN guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, got their comeuppance then nobody would have an issue here. But again, I'm happy one Admin of the tournament was consulted all the way throughout, while the other one was left in the dark.

Being fair, the issue you describe above resulted in the rule listed below in which there was a RULE in place if the situation occurred again. That rule was that if this happened in the FUTURE then the offending clan would be removed from the tournament and suspended for a period of no less than 1 year. Cereal and Deadpool you couldn't be more misinformed. Nobody here got the private beta for being in UF or in UF Staff. The private beta was sent out to tons of people, it just happens that many of the UF Community are members of the Gamer Advisory Panel and/or Playstation Underground. That has always been the way Sony has chosen beta testers, along with active members on the Playstation Forums/Socom.com forums.

That's creepy. I posted this over on our forums, as we have a few west coast members. I too would like to know his accuracy at predicting these. He only mentions the 1989 quake, which was 21 years ago. Did he get any right in the interim?

I got it too. Played for about 2 hours. Not bad thus far, I like it a lot. The private beta section on the socom.com forums is up, just log out and log back in to refresh. Also guys keep in mind when you agreed to the terms, you accepted an NDA (non disclosure agreement). Revealing information that is not public knowledge as well as uploading game play will get you kicked from the beta.

The private beta invites are going out today, nobody got them before today. Apparently North American beta testers haven't even got their invites yet, only Australia and EU players were invited thus far. I'm still hoping that my previous beta input and G.A.P. status earned me a private beta invite. If you didn't get invited yet, don't panic...nobody has from North America lol.

Quote of the year? I think so. There's one game in the arcade that we've been cursing at all night, it's called Rainman. There is absolutely no skill involved and it's extremely frustrating, but extremely addictive too. The Arcade was actually our little ploy to keep X Factor busy during the day, instead of making a hundred posts a day about his Phillies on the forums lol...

AieL also won UF: Gauntlet (MW2). Everything else looks good. The tournament ran 34 weeks (if memory serves) and no winner was declared, as it was shutdown prematurely. APC led from the start of the tournament to the conclusion. One of the most grueling tournaments I've ever been a part of. I believe I played in over 100 wars during that tournament alone.

BLASPHEMY! The first was just an amazing film, that could have been one of the best stand alone film's of the last decade. The second one was ok. The third was crap. I'd see a new Matrix movie without hesitation though. Neo lives, I have said it all along!

I started with the AX 720's. Unfortunately for me I have an infamous and at times mischievious Black Lab named Rambo that happened to be teething when I got my first 720. Ask anybody that's ever gamed with me my dogs name, I am sure they can tell you LOL (we may have to make him an honorary VR member at some point). Needless to say, during the teething and puppy stages he went through 3 AX 720's. Each time I went back to Best Buy with my warranty and swapped it out for a new one, no questions asked. The 4th 720 I got was non functional out of the box. I took it back that day and they upgraded me for free to a AX PRO (I just had to pay the difference in warranty plan, since the PRO is $40 more). I love my TRITTON AX PRO. Luckily for me, Rambo is no longer a puppy and no longer feels the need to make a $130 headset his personal chew toy when I'm not looking LOL. He turns two today actually.

Also Call of Duty games will never have clan support. When the question has been brought up in either Call of Duty series (MW series or Treyarch's), it has been answered by essentially saying that clans are silly/unimportant...What a joke. Call of Duty games will have the clan tag option and that's it, if they stand by that word.

Unknown, but I would assume so at some point. Killzone 3 preorders will get first access to the beta though.

You are correct. Infinity Ward is done with the Call of Duty franchise altogether. MW3 will be developed by 3 different companies (none being IW). Also as I posted on the VR forums...this is simply one of the worst PR moves I have ever seen. They will not close the servers down at any point, but to threaten it? That just got somebody fired lol. In some bizarro world that they do shut the servers down on the PSN, it won't be until after they milk the DLC cash cow a few times lol. I just don't get why it is so hard for a game to work flawlessly in terms of connectivity/latency on one system, but not on another. Modern Warfare 1 was crappy on the PSN, but great on XBL. MW2 was horribly broken on XBL, but great on the PSN. Black Ops is great on XBL, but the PSN has TONS of issues with host migration, connections, parties, etc.

Stadium is right up my alley. I'm happy to see some real sniper maps now too. The idea for zip lines and destructible bridges is very cool.

Good to hear. I hope the new dev's learn from some of the mistakes that MW2 made. Though being a great game, it had quite a few things that could be removed/improved upon (unlimited re-supplies of grenade launchers for starters). I also think there are a few things that can be taken from Black Ops that would make MW3 an all around great game (IE unstackable killstreaks).

Yeah, because most teams would hate to have a 27 year old rocket arm QB on the rise, who just put up a great year...that's while having no legitimate #1 receiver and a makeshift O-Line. I hate when people bash on Cutler just to simply bash on him. Watch him play, the man can play the QB position. His mechanics are goofy as all hell, but he makes it work. The league better look out if we get him a better O-Line, with a solid #1 to complement Knox and the current receivers in the years to come. Watch what he does this postseason, while leading us to the Super Bowl.

Not the "video game violence" card again. Haven't they beaten this dead horse enough? Good grief...everything violent gets blamed on video games. Psychos are going to freak out, because they are not sound of mind. Whether they have played GTA or Duke Nukem is completely irrelevant and just plain dumb.
