A map pack is pretty significant for console exclusiveness. I would bet it is a timed exclusive though, as they would lose a lot of potential profit by not eventually making it available to 360 users. It's about time the PS3 gets something CoD related first lol.

It will still blow Confrontation out of the water. For as many faults as Socom 3/CA had, it was still a really fun and great SOCOM, which was playable out of the box. Confrontation on the other hand was not nearly as fun as any previous Socom and the changes/faults in the game alienated it from any other Socom title. Think about it though...How long was it before we had a stable patch to actually sustain play online? I believe it was November or December of that year before the game was a working game (it released in October). Confrontation eventually became a solid, but nothing spectacular game. Let's be honest, if it wasn't branded with "Socom" in front of "Confrontation," how many of us would have stuck with it as long as we did (or in some cases still stick with it).

Infinity Ward is one thing, but I wouldn't try going online early with Treyarch. Just my humble opinion, though I'm EXTREMELY jealous. If I might ask, did you get it at a Gamestop or "Mom and Pop" store. I'd love to mash on the campaign for a couple days before launch, this way I don't have to ever play offline when the game officially launches lol.

I never put too much stock into Gamestop release dates, regardless of their affiliation with the project. I would find it EXTREMELY odd that the game would come out in early January with no official release date through November 1st. Remember, MAG's release date for January of the following year was announced in August. I'd still put my money on Spring.

I've dealt with this many of times unfortunately Marauder and I know how bad it sucks. I believe I have had a credit card compromised around 5 times, the most recent being last November or December. They actually caught that criminal, as he had been doing this for months and all the signs pointed back to him from a plethora of fraud reports. He was...a Wendy's Drive Thru Cashier. What he was doing was taking a cell phone picture of the credit cards, then sending the pictures out to co-conspirators to make reproductions of the original card. The factor that helped in him getting caught is the proximity to the cards being compromised, all of which were from Illinois and all the fraudulent charges took place in Illinois. Unfortunately, being an out of state matter, I wouldn't say your thief will be caught for sure. It's a sad fact, but there's so many of these cases and the criminals are becoming increasingly smarter in how they do things. This person that stole yours is not one of the smart ones, so hopefully the evidence will lead right to him. The important part is that you established that the charges were fraudulent and are off the hook for those charges. I would love to see this guy go down for what he did, hence my Criminal Justice background. Make sure you fill out the fraudulent charge claim from your Credit Card provider and send it back ASAP. They have deadlines for which that you have to supply your written statement in support of the fraudulent charge. They will usually have that claim sheet in the mail the next day, so expect it later this week or early next week. As far as locating the guy. If you can get a phone number on him, there are plenty of services that will give you an address for the cell phone owner or even land line. I did this once for a guy that tried to skimp out on a payment for a hunting item I sent him in advance of payment. He was ducking my calls and emails, so I paid $5 for a perfectly legal online service to do a full search. I was able to get his name, home address, and a few other pieces of information. I threatened legal action and made him aware of the fact that I now knew his full name/address. I received a paypal payment within hours of that voicemail...LOL.

OMFG please don't let it be true...! I will refuse to buy the next RE, as much as I love RE games, if it is developed by Slant Sux.

Haha same! I think I just got to level 13 in trophies. It goes so slow once you get to level 12. I'm working on my Platinum for Medal of Honor (need 1 more trophy), so that should shoot my XP up.

I think the Series goes to Texas in 6. Should be a good series. I'm going to be doing a lot of flipping tomorrow night between the World Series Game 1, Bulls season opener, and the Hawks game.

The Bulls 72-10 regular season record is safe. They looked like the Miami Cavaliers tonight against the Celtics. Yes it is early, yes it is game 1 of 82. I just laugh at the bandwagon fans that proclaimed this to be the best team ever, before they ever played a game together in the NBA. There is no doubt the Heat will be a good team, but it was overly evident tonight that Chris Bosh is going to get taken to school by any real big men. KG ate him for lunch tonight. I didn't see all this "unselfishness" the Heat have been preaching since "The Decision." I saw a lot of forced shots, forced turnovers, horrible passing, and overall brutal team play on the offensive side of the ball for the Heat. The Heat definitely have a lot more to prove before they can come close to saying they can run with the Lakers or even the top teams in the East for that matter. Top team in the East? Not so fast... I wonder if they start out of the gate with a horrible record, will Pat Riley take over? This definitely isn't going to be the cakewalk Heat fans envisioned and, for now anyways, the critics of this team have been spot on. Overall I see the Heat being a top 3 seed in the East, but not the number 1.

I have an AX Pro, I'm still considering upgrading to this even if it is Madcatz developed. I have my AX Pro with a Best Buy warranty and if I upgrade I only pay the difference between the AX Pro and this new one, along with the upgraded warranty plan. If it is shoddy material I can downgrade back to the AX Pro or just get a new headset if it breaks. Love me those Best Buy warranties lol.

I am there with you two, but if I had a choice I would get killed by someone's gun over anything. That way I know that somebody actually got the best of me. I miss the days of no killstreaks or tubes (Socom). It was your gun vs another gun, best man comes out of the fight alive. It still is like that on CoD games, but those gunfights are often superseded by a tube, rocket, grenade spam, or killstreak.

These map packs will be great for holding my interest in MoH another week until Black Ops! The online of MoH has been pretty fun, but I've switched my focus to offline the last week or so. Has anyone tried the Tier 1 mode on campaign btw? I have every trophy online and offline except the one which requires you to beat each mission in Tier 1 mode under "Par Time." I tried it a bit last night and it's really frustrating, since there are no checkpoints. I died 18 minutes into a 25 minute mission and wanted to cry LOL.

While I was no "expert" at quickscoping, I dabbled in it for a bit due to it's annoying prevalence in MW2. It is a pretty cheap tactic when on the insane look speed, as plenty of times you don't even have to have your crosshairs on or around the person to kill them. I didn't enjoy it and after a few days of trying it, I went back to my normal style of play and normal lookspeed. I always found it pretty easy to kill quickscopers anyhow, but they were annoying nonethelss. Quickscoping was fun to do in a private free for all with friends/clanmates, but it has no real place in the game. I am really looking forward to Black Ops even more now, as it seems the two cheapest methods of play have been removed (unlimited OMA 203's and Quick Scoping). Also there are interesting handicaps associated with carrying a 203 or rocket in Black Ops. I believe I read that if you have one attached to your primary, you a secondary weapon. Overall Black Ops should be more about overall gun skill and completely different than MW2 in a really good way. I love that killstreaks aren't stackable, so you have to earn each streak with your gun skill instead of one killstreak leading to another from a secure camping spot like in MW2.
