  1. Mendenhall had me really worried/upset, until that big OT run lol.
  2. I landed Jackson in only 2 leagues (1 of which I have the number 1 waiver wire spot when waivers process tonight). I also landed him in the 2nd VR league and I was at the 10th waiver spot (caught em sleeping LOL). In the primary VR league I missed out on Jackson as I had the worse possible waiver spot (6th). I was the highest scoring loser, losing 161-123. Does that make me the biggest loser LOL? Anyhow I put in claims for several players and ended up with my #2 choice in Austin Collie. This is a PPR league, so Collie should be productive, but Jackson even more so. Jackson has caught 20-30 balls the last 2 years out of the backfield, playing behind Grant. He should be very active in the passing game, as well as most of the Packers ground game the rest of the year (assuming they don't trade for a back). The only downside is John Kuhn will get a lot of the goal line reps.
  3. I think anyone that cheats on any video game should have that console, not just the username, BANNED for life. Sad that a game just launched and people have to cheat on it. It's nice to see a Game Dev take a major stance against this and I hope they follow through. It will certainly set an example for our favorite games/game developers to follow (Zipper, EA, Infinity Ward, Activision, etc). Games should be about the legitimate and honest gamers, get rid of the bad apples.
  4. I got hit hard by Foster this week, facing him in several leagues. In the VR league I lost in a high scoring battle. Foster hurt me in 2 ways. He put up monster points for one lol. More importantly my QB, Schaub, didn't produce squat for me. He totaled a mere 8 points, opposed to Foster's 42.
  5. He has to maintain possession throughout the whole process. Think of that play in terms of him catching it at the 50 and doing that. It's a crappy rule to have for end zone catches though and it will assuredly be looked at in the off-season. As far as I am concerned that is a game the Lions had no business winning to begin with. The Lions were outplayed all game, the Bears were just beating themselves with stupid fumbles and costly penalties. I'm just glad we escaped with a win. A win is a win and I'll take it, but they need to be much better next week against the Cowboys. The Cowboys are saying the same thing about this meeting. The only difference is the Bears are 1-0 and the Cowboys 0-1.
  6. Thanks, I love putting these together lol. Anybody else have any predictions? How about the Seahawks, Skins, and to a lesser extent, the Texans, pulling huge upsets today?! I only say to a lesser extent for the Texans, because that team is extremely good on paper and it showed today. They may be ready to take the leap not just into the playoffs, but into the AFC South throne. Sunday Notes: Arian Foster etched his name into the realm of fantasy football and real life stud. Mike Vick needs to be the starter for the Eagles, regardless of Kolb's status. That looked like the Mike Vick we used to know and love out there today! Bengals offense looked very good through the air, mediocre on the ground. Bengals defense certainly did not perform like a top tier defense. Wes Welker is still the man. Hakeem Nicks is in store for a HUGE season if today was any indication. The Mike Martz offense looked good today, but turnovers and stalling drives supersede what the stat sheet shows. Bears Defense looked like the Bears defense we used to know and love. Urlacher and Briggs looked incredible today. 5 QB's had 44 attempts or more Sunday. They all lost.
  7. This game looks like it could follow suit with the likes of the Uncharted franchise. It just keeps getting better each title. I personally CANNOT wait to try this game in 3D. If there's one game that would make me buy a 3DTV, it would be Dead Space.
  8. With that, the skeptics can go pre-order this game, for it has no flaws haha.
  9. I almost cancelled my pre-order when I saw Commando, then I read the rest of the line LOL. They really didn't leave anything out in this game. I love a lot of that list.
  10. NFC East 1. Cowboys - ( 12-4 ) 2. Eagles - ( 10-6 ) ** 3. Giants - ( 8-8 ) 4. Skins - ( 8-8 ) NFC North 1. Packers ( 12-4 ) 2. Bears ( 10-6 ) ** 3. Vikings ( 8-8 ) 4. Lions ( 7-9 ) NFC South 1. Saints ( 13-3 ) 2. Falcons ( 9-7 ) 3. Panthers ( 6-10 ) 4. Bucs ( 1-15 ) NFC West 1. 49ers ( 9-7 ) 2. Cardinals ( 6-10 ) 3. Rams ( 3-13 ) 4. Seahawks ( 2-14 ) AFC East 1. Jets ( 10-6 ) 2. Pats ( 10-6 ) 3. Dolphins ( 7-9 ) 4. Bills ( 3-13 ) AFC North 1. Ravens ( 11-5 ) 2. Bengals ( 10-6 ) ** 3. Steelers ( 8-8 ) 4. Browns ( 4-12 ) AFC South 1. Colts ( 12-4 ) 2. Texans ( 10-6 ) ** 3. Titans ( 7-9 ) 4. Jags ( 6-10 ) AFC West 1. Chargers ( 12-4 ) 2. Raiders ( 8-8 ) 3. Chiefs ( 6-10 ) 4. Broncos ( 5-11 ) ** Denotes wild card ------------------------------------------------------ MVP: Matt Schaub - Texans I'm bucking the Aaron Rodgers trend pick, though it would be stupid not to have him in the argument. I think Schaub will put up rediculous numbers again and with the Texans in the playoffs finally, he will be tough for the voters to ignore. Offensive Player of the year: Aaron Rodgers I'll give him OPOY instead lol. Again I hate voting like the rest of the sheep for Chris Johnson, though if he comes through on his promise of breaking Dickerson's record...He's a lock for OPOY and MVP. Defensive Player of the year: Patrick Willis The 49ers will be in the playoffs this year in the weakest division in the NFL. That said, Patrick Willis will be a huge reason why on the defensive side of the ball. Revis Island or Woodson will not win it. In fact scratch every corner off your list of potential winners. Woodson winning last year was the first time for a corner since Prime time won it in 94. Offensive Rookie of the year: Ryan Matthews I don't think this will even be close. Matthews is going to have a breakout rookie season. All signs point to him running away with the award. I don't think Spiller will have enough touches or stats to seriously contend. Best will likely give him the best run for his money, but Smith will steal some carries away when he returns from his injury. Defensive Rookie of the year: Ndamukong Suh Flip a coin. Eric Berry or Suh. My coin said Suh. Sleeper Pick: Taylor Mays Coach of the year: Gary Kubiak Another close battle, this one between Kubiak and Singletary. I think that Kubiak's Texans will be more impressive on paper than the 49ers, especially in a much tougher division. Bold predictions: Bears make playoffs; Patriots miss playoffs; Chris Johnson takes a large step back; Carson Palmer takes a huge step forward; Vikings start season 2-5; Favre's iron man streak ends; Sidney Rice plays before Vincent Jackson does; the leading rusher in the NFL won't have the last name Peterson or Johnson; 2 brand new members to the 1,000 yard receiving club: Malcom Floyd and Johnny Knox.
  11. It's been a while since I've played any Silent Hill game. This should be a fun game. My memories of Silent Hill games are scarred by it's horrible Hollywood film.
  12. Football in general. College is game, but no HS please lol.
  13. Haha that's awesome. Where can I get me a semi-auto AT-4 like that LOL?
  14. I might just be upgrading from my AX Pro when these hit my Best Buy. I'd like to see some reviews first to assure the Tritton quality has carried over to Mad Catz.
  15. This game looks insane. There is a ton of customization and unique gameplay. The maps look sick too. I'm looking on the internet daily now for new Black Ops videos. 2 months and 1 day until launch!
  16. Double XP is officially over. It was offered because of Memorial Day weekend.
  17. I never got a chance to check out season 1. With all the new seasons of shows starting this month, not sure if I will ever get around to checking this out. I would really like to, as it looks awesome.
  18. This is an extremely cool concept and should further add to the awesomeness that is coming November 9th. Every time new information is released I grow even more eager for launch date. This is going to be, far and away, the best Call of Duty online experience to date.
  19. You know what I get a kick out of Irish? I do the same thing with the internet and cable TV for the best deal, but do NOT use their phone service. When the Cable and Internet go out it NEVER fails that the Customer Service Rep tries to pitch me their phone service. I want to reach through the phone and just strangle them. I ask them the following question, which usually dumbfounds them: "Do you realize if I had your crappy phone service, I would not be able to call you right now?" I've been praying for Verizon FiOS to be available in the area for too long. In a perfect world I would stick with AT&T for home phone, Verizon FiOS for Internet, and DirecTV for cable.
  20. Nothing tops R Lee Ermey's original rendition lol.
  21. Rumor has it there will be punch and pie served. Any validity to this? Bump for the U.
  22. Haha, no doubt. Gotta love Chicago weather.
