I finally attempted to go online with GTA IV. I tried to to play TDM and waited, what I guess is the lobby, forever. Do I have to do anything else besides going to TDM (or anything else) and wait for the game to start?? When I was waiting I seen other people joining, but only a couple had "ready" checked. Does that mean anything? Also, what does the star represent?

Yea, I can't reserve a copy until there is a hard date.

I went to Gamestop and Babbages and neither had a release date for SOCOM. I was trying to reserve my copy and put money down, and they couldn't do it without a system release date. Has anybody heard if the release date has changed?? As for Sept 16th, it might have been in the system when that got released, but it might have been pulled due to a date changed. I had GTA4 reserved since Feb 07', and you've seen how many times the date changed on that one.

I want to know iLL gamers style. Do they follow the whole "assigned weapon" and "assigned post" play, or are they like most of us and use the tactically sound...EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I heard that is why the railroad stock is doing so good. They purchased fuel in bulk ten years ago, and trucking companies can't compete. I'm glad I have a take home!

I gave it another go...can't recommend. Controls are horrible, and game moves to slow.

They need to work on the spawn points. I played a game of TDM on Broadcast and started as the Marines. I immediately went into the bombed out building and started sniping. I got three Ops and threw up the UAV. Next thing I know, the whole team is now spawing on the ground level right below me. It happened on the opposite side too. I sniped a guy across the map, only to have the same fucking guy shoot me in the back as soon as he spawned behind me...in the same room. Broadcast seems to be the worst for this. That was one thing COD3 did right, you never spawned near the opposing team. But I digress, I like Creek the most. ;D

I've only played it for about 15 minutes, wasn't impressed. I'll give it another go this weekend. But I have to agree, its pretty slow action. I'm not crazy about the fact you pretty much have to empty an entire clip into someone before they go down.

Everytime I log onto UF site, a pop-up appears that this site uses Div-X. What is it and do I need to install it?? The site works fine if I don't, just wondering if I'm missing something. I'm kinda a computer illiterate.

I've been listening to Social D since I was 15 yoa. One of the best punk bands ever....EVER!

Visa or American Express gift cards work. The only problem with these they cost an extra $5 on top of the amount of the card. No big deal, its just the principle of the rip off.
