Is this just a trial period??

I have the same problem when tryng to join my clan. I don't think its anything you are doing, its COD4 shitty party system.

This game looks f'ing amazing!! I don't know if it was said on this site, but someone said "it will be like a Sims game with car jacking's and murder." The links Lucifer posted make this game sound like an actual virtual criminal world.

After hearing thunder and seeing lightning last night...while it snowed, I thought of this. Dear Diary: Aug. 12 - Moved into my new home in Illinois. It is so beautiful here. The hills and river valleys are so picturesque. I have a beautiful old oak tree in my front yard. Can hardly wait to see the change in the seasons. This is truly God's Country. Oct. 14 - Illinois is such a gorgeous place to live, one of the real special places on Earth. The leaves are turning a multitude of different colors. I love all of the shades of reds, oranges and yellows, they are so bright. I want to walk through all of the beautiful hills and spot some white tail deer. They are so graceful, certainly they mu st be the most peaceful creatures on Earth. This must be paradise. Nov. 11 - Deer season opens this week. I can't imagine why anyone would want to shoot these elegant animals. They are the very symbol of peace and tranquility here in Illinois. I hope it snows soon. I love it here! Dec. 2 - It snowed last night. I woke to the usual wonderful sight: everything covered in a beautiful blanket of white. The oak tree is magnificent. It looks like a postcard. We went out and swept the snow from the steps and driveway. The air is so crisp, clean and refreshing. We had a snowball fight. I won, and the snowplow came down the street. He must have gotten too close to the driveway because we had to go out and shovel the end of the driveway again. What a beautiful place. Nature in harmony. I love it here! Dec. 12 - More snow last night. I love it! The plow did h is cute < BR>little trick again. What a rascal. A winter wonderland. I love it here! Dec. 19 - More snow - couldn't get out of the driveway to get to work in time. I'm exhausted from all of the shoveling. And that snowplow! Dec 21 - More of that white shit coming down. I've got blisters on my hands and a kink in my back. I think that the snowplow driver waits around the corner until I'm done shoveling the driveway. Asshole. Dec. 25 - White Christmas? More freakin' snow. If I ever get my hands on the sonofabitch who drives that snowplow, I swear I'll castrate him. And why don't they use more salt on these roads to melt this crap?? Dec. 28 - It hasn't stopped snowing since Christmas. I have been inside since then, except of course when that SOB "Snowplow Harry" comes by. Can't go anywhere, cars are buried up to the windows. Weather man says to expect another 10 inches. Do you have any idea how many shovelful s 10 inches is?? Jan. 1 - Happy New Year? The way it's coming down it won't melt until the 4th of July! The snowplow got stuck down the road and the shit head actually had the balls to come and ask to borrow a shovel! I told him I'd broken 6 already this season. Jan. 4 - Finally got out of the house. We went to the store to get some food and a goddamn deer ran out in front of my car and I hit the bastard. It did $3,000 in damage to the car. Those beasts ought to be killed. The hunters should have a longer season if you ask me. Jan. 27 - Warmed up a little and rained today. The rain turned the snow into ice and the weight of it broke the main limb of the oak tree in the front yard and it went through the roof. I should have cut that old piece of shit into fireplace e wood when I ha d the chance. May 23 - Took my car to the local garage .. Would you believe the whole underside of the car is rusted away from all of that damn salt they dump on the road? Car looks like a bashed up, heap of rusted cow shit. May 10 - Sold the car, the house, and moved to Arizona. I can't imagine why anyone in their freakin' mind would ever want to live in the God forsaken State of Illinois!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!! Thanks for the info. I got to admit though, I'm hugely disappointed. The vids for this game look great. But then the vids for SOCOM:Confrontation look horrible, so you never know.

The beta test for this game was released on 03/25/08. I was wondering if any of you XBOX'ers got the beta. I have a PS3, but I would love to hear if you did and what you think so far. The game looks sick as hell!!!! Might give COD4 and run for its money... (Cause I don't think R6V2 did).

It's a control thing. Plain and simple. We always evaluated clans in the Black and Crucible tourneys. There are those who use grenades well, placing them on targets....and then there are those who know where to throw them at the beginning of a round on a small map. One, what fun is that for people with crap spawns, and two, what kind of skill does THAT show? It's almost like counting cards in Vegas. No skill, just technical know-how. We liked running just guns because it intensified the game play and the tactical play all at once. Grenades are a good leveler. They're quiet, they can come from anywhere and they can end a game pretty quickly. We want, in an eval tourney, to be able to inject as MUCH fun into a 4 week tourney as possible, not invite people into matches they die 4 seconds into. The other factor to this is, again, we're evaluating the level of team work you have in your clan. A clan or, rather, clan leaders and officers who cannot get it into the thick skulls of their troops that they should NOT throw a grenade in this match might not lead the most organized clan. Unorganized clans in a tourney atmosphere like UF don't do well and, in some cases, do their best to RUIN fun for those who came to UF with a solid purpose. Hope that answers some of your questions. - TOW I figured as much, thanks for the info. I definitely know what you mean too. I hate it when I die from a nade and I seen it was thrown across the map blindly.

From what I've read on other forums it will be about $10 USC. They are comparing that to how many XBOX points its gonna cost.

lol, it took awhile but I "finally" completely agree with Red. You get what you pay for and thats NOTHING! I would gladly pay a yearly fee for a dependable PS3 online service. All the PS3 owners who brag about not paying for anything to play online, this is the fallout from that very thing. So, just like Red said, why wouldnt they take care of the people who pay for thier online service? And dont start replying with "Home this" & "Home that"....... Until its out and working perfectly its not an option and cant be compared to XBL. I somewhat agree with you, except one thing. XBOX owners send their scratch to Microsoft, not IW or Activision. Its corporate America at its best. It sucks because you know they could release the map pack at the same time, but IW and Activision are bought and paid for. Money talks, and bullshit walks.

Host migration doesn't work, you still end up in a room by yourself.

The on-line portion of this game looks like it might give SOCOM a run for its money also.

The only one I think they still did not get right is the host migration issue. In COD3 when the host left the game the only person who knew it, was the person that became the new host. The main problem with the host ending the game isn't just everybody getting split up, it is the game ending too early. Thats just my opinion.

OK thanks, I'll have to check it when I get home. I'm at work and its coming up as a broken image. Also, I removed my sig trying to do something and now I can't get the code to work from imageshack. Photobucket is a blocked website at work...go figure.
