  1. Not at the time it wasn't :-\ But regardless the point is still true. He's not actually "flying". He's gliding or falling and when he gets close he opens a parachute and lands. Not Flight!
  2. Like my brother in law, he understood the ARM and planned on selling, then CRASH down went the housing market and he's hosed
  3. ET really?
  4. Go get your own line. I used this already, and btw I have some beans, bottled water, and a shotty fully loaded, BRING IT ON.....who we shooting?
  5. As Woody from Toy Story said, "That's not flying! That's Falling, WITH Style." He is to jump out of a plane and soar across, not take off and then land. That's not flight, that's gliding.
  6. Am I on that gracious list of yours? You have it in your avatar, I'm thinking you might be penciled on there.
  7. This is very hard, I can't remember the first actual game I played. I'm thinking Atari and Asteroids. I do know I grew up with an Intellivision II and the games on there rocked, at the time. I still have all the games and the system. There is an Activision game that has most of the old games on one disc for a PS2, I still pop that in once in awhile for a trip down memorey lane. I played a game called Utopia and B-17 Bomber A LOT. Then the NES and Tetris came along and the "OLD school" stuff got put away.
  8. I might have been closer then I thought. Last nights Presidential address some of the exact things I posted hours earlier were mentioned as causes. It basically came down to and well is coming down to people did some fiscally irresponsible things and instead of the country going under, the government is trying to rescue it with an infusion of capital in some key places to bolster trust in certain areas to get the economy rolling again. As for "how bad is it really" economics wise we haven't seen the worst of it yet. Think somewhere between the stock market crash in the 1920's to the 80's recession. It'll fall between there. With any luck closer to the recession then the crash. We've already seen the stock market try and crash but we have stop gaps that keep it from plumeting out of control. So a major fall, or stumble is still possible but the all out crash can't or well shouldn't be able to happen again. We all will feel this. Some it will hurt more then others. Just live on cash as much as you can, trust the banks only as far as you have to and don't make any major financial mistakes like financing a home with an ARM. My brother in law did that and is now royally screwed, If I would have known I would have stopped him but he was so hell bent on getting his place and not worried about the long term that he rushed head long into it and now, OMG his rate is jumping way past what he can afford and the company he was trying to refinance through went bankrupt.
  9. I see Canada's education system isn't much better then American. lol
  10. Which Post whore are you baiting? lol I quess we'll find out soon enough.
  11. Well America is a Capitalist society(Some liberals would have us move to a socialist society) but with that, certain "adjustments" need to be made, and when a large number of people live credit poor, or debt heavy, like they have been, the institutions which have been seeing a possibility of easy income gave too many loans to unfit candidate's who made their own mistakes by financing their new homes with an ARM to be known as Adjustable Rate Mortage, which now, is about the time that most of those ARM's that were let a couple years ago during the housing boom are adjusting up, and many people who were scraping by to begin with now have to find more money every month to cover their monthly mortgage are going broke. Which in turn is causing many of the financial institutions to struggle and even fold as we've seen. SO load your guns and stock up on canned foods, the world is coming to an end.
  12. WOA, WOA, WOA, I've seen 2 posts here referring to our "Project Runway" reject as a male, uh I am thinking that is a female and that is a home made top?
  13. That has to be at a NASCAR race, lol. I'm loving the creativity.
  14. Very COOL. Another great day to be American.
  15. The old name I ran with until recently was Andawg. That one came from WAYYYYYY back in high school wehre a group of us, well, were all "dawgs" this is back before Randy made it cool on American Idol. So we had J-Dawg, Ross-Dawg, AnDawg.....get it. The next generation of SOCOM is coming out and I decided to change to something I'm hoping is cooler. If you're old enough you know who Sgt. Joe Friday is, and more importantly what he stands for, I think you'll agree it's a good name.
  16. And to think that most of those kids have parents that are telling them "YOU'RE The BEST EVER!!" Well they're shouting because their eardrums are shot by the losey play of their kids.
  17. I was watching most of those and if that Challenger IS stock well then it needs a new clutch, maybe a manual transmission, and a driver because whoever it is has some of the slowest reaction times I've seen.
  18. To see if the world has ended check at this site... http://www.hasthelhcdestroyedtheearth.com/ And Sid It's NOT a Rick Roll. It'll be interesting to see what happens if they can get it up and going like they plan. And if the world ended well it's been fun playing SOCOM with you all.
  19. I'm known for putting up vids with the scare deal at the end, so while I have done the Rick Roll I know it hasn't been for A LONG time, besides, people still use that, That is SO 5 minutes ago.
  20. I have one of the 32" Vizio's and it sits about 4 feet from my face, I LOVE it. ESPECIALLY for the price!! Now here's what you're looking for(and if I were you I'd really wait for Goat to write you a book on here) however here it is some truths and opinions I'll let you decide.... 720 is ok for smaller TVs, 1080 is for bigger TVs starting at 42". You don't gain much with 1080 on smaller tvs. "p" vs. "i" I'm assuming you know the difference and the deal here is that there are a couple processor speeds on this. And the faster the processor the better it works. A slow processor with a "p" won't look as good sometimes as it would in "i" and this is where your money is saved "i" is cheaper. Plasma vs LCD, I assuming you're going flat panel, cause if you have the space, for the dollar a DLP is the best you can get. Plasmas are awesome in the proper condition in the proper room and for old guys that like sports. LCD has made leeps and bounds recently and doesn't have some of the problems that plasma has with screen fade. They both WILL fade but it takes longer on the LCD. With your budget you're probably going to end up with a Vizio, use your friend, make sure they keep you in the loop, you'd hate to buy when when a better deal is maybe only a couple weeks away.
  21. I have done over a thousand miles this WEEK alone, and I know exactly what you're saying. I am a NASCAR fan and I'd love to tap somebody's bumper and put em in the wall sometime ERRRRR. But I digress, "the left lane is to keep out of the way" lol. I have heard that and that's what a lot of them think. I get in front of them and low down till they change lanes, lol. I probably shouldn't have a liscense sometimes.
  22. Star Spangled mess: Mavs’ Howard insults anthem 4 hours, 59 minutes ago Buzz Up PrintDALLAS (AP)—The battered reputation of Josh Howard took another hit this week when an online video surfaced showing the Dallas Mavericks forward disrespecting the national anthem. In a video posted on YouTube, Howard is shown on a football field at a charity flag football game. As the national anthem plays in the background, Howard approaches a camera and says: “‘The Star Spangled Banner’ is going on right now. I don’t even celebrate that (expletive). I’m black.†Howard’s agent, Jeff Schwartz, did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment. Donnie Nelson, the Mavericks’ president of basketball operations, directed questions to team owner Mark Cuban, who in an e-mail declined to comment. The incident is the latest off-court problem for Howard, a fifth-year pro from Wake Forest who averaged 19.9 points and seven rebounds last season. He was arrested in July when police said he was drag racing at 94 mph in a 55 zone. A court appearance was scheduled for next week. Howard was criticized last season for saying in a radio interview during a first-round playoff series against New Orleans that he occasionally smokes marijuana. Later that same series, he angered coach Avery Johnson by throwing himself a birthday bash after a Game 4 loss to the Hornets. Here's a Youtube vid I found..
