I was expecting so much more from MOH. It's really not very well made. The SP was great but too short and a little too scripted (in some places you couldn't just attack a village by flanking or doing what you want, you had to go through a specific door or gate to trigger the next part of the level). The MP has been a huge frustration and overall a very bad experience. I like the new game mode and the server side patch for ps3 seems to have improved MP some but not enough for me to enjoy the game. Best buy is still offering $32 for trade so I might jump on that now or sell privately if I can. COD:BO has to be better than this and I don't forsee ever popping this disk in once it that drops.

yea that is exactly what i would do, play SP. That would work out great... get to finish SP all nice and relaxed, not worrying about ranking shit up to stay competitive with others online.

Tape backups are typically used for offline, archival data storage. You have a tape drive(s) and you offload your data to the tapes every so often. I would recommend doing a full backup atleast monthly, and doing incremental backups (only what has changed since the last full backup) daily. Ideally you want to keep a set of monthly backups off site (a different location) for disaster recovery purposes (i.e. if a fire burns down the clinic but you have a tape in your home office to recover most of your data with). You should have a backup and DR plan if your data is important. So the server is purposed for centralized storage. It's still hard to tell if it's enough disk space since we don't know how large this patient data is, and how many patients you expect to store data on. The data could be a small txt file where you have room to literally store millions of patient records, or you could be doing xrays or MRI's or some other sort of imaging and storing those files, which could use up a lot of space very quickly. Looks like Shane has you covered. If you still have questions I can try to answer them here.

1TB enough for all that data? What data? what will these 24 computers be doing? What services do you expect this server to be providing to the clients? Will you be doing tape backups (I hope)? With dual 500G disks like that, you are most likely to set those up in a mirror for redundancy (so you have 500G of effective disk space). It's really hard to give you much advice without more information.

by no means is this answer authoritative, but here we go: 1) no active tourneys for socom, other than the new UFGL ladders. The ladders were being tested and the accounts / stats are about to be reset so I wouldn't rush in there just yet but I believe they will be ready after the weekend... 2) depends on the clans and their contacts. you can always post up something in the forums if you looking for a war OR use the UFGL ladders once operational. 3) I think hell week is no more, rather your clan will be allowed to participate in a black? tourney and this acts as your hell week. assuming you follow the rules you are then allowed into UF and can play the bigger tourneys like tacmap 4) see #3 welcome to the forums. hope you and your clan like it here.

as far as I know this rebranded COD offering is the first official "matcatz" tritton headset. all others were developed and in stores before madcatz bought tritton.

I kinda felt like that seeing it. For me keeping MOH rides on this patch... if they don't fix the "friends list lag" bug, and fix the "run behind cover and die 2 seconds later" lag crap, I'll be trading it in for black ops.
