That's actually the trailer for Cloverfield 2.... Why the fuck is it side-stepping like that!? Fucking weird!!! That leprechaun video is hilarious!

I LIKE how games are TRYING to break the mold of "made for sloths by geeks" mentality in the world. Games ARE trying to become the next GREAT entertainment source in America. Back in the day, it was comic books. Comic books got supplanted by movies. Movies CAN get supplanted by video games....but only if the CONTENT and story are there, and ONLY if it grabs more shares of consumers in the world. Games won't be heralded as the next and BONA FIDE method of entertainment until every demographic is included in the ranks of the players. Every age, every gender, every financial bracket. Like movies. And it won't get there unless there is something to ENGAGE them. And button mashing is not engaging. Story is. The TRICK is to find the balance. I applaud the effort that MGS is trying to make, but will have to wait and see if they do it successfully. You ever Uncharted, Tow? That had to be the most movie-like game I have ever played...

Lol.. And if it came out on 360, it would be like 5 dual layer DVDs. That would gay as hell!
-
They also may be speaking in terms of uncompressed files. Like, I remember when Heavenly Sword was coming out, the developers said that it had 11GB of just music. Though, we later found out that these were just uncompressed file types and could easily be half the size. I could careless if the game is dialogue heavy. I enjoyed Uncharted, but critics were saying that there was too many cut scenes. I felt like it just made the game more cinematic and entertaining.

So does "C.Dub" or whatever that jackhole's name was. LOL Lmao! I bet..

I use Windows Movie maker, too. It is pretty easy to figure out and should be good to edit clips and add music. For anything more advanced, you should try Sony Vegas.

That's hilarious! I hate chain text messages even worse!

Did anybody take advantage of the ability to send text messages via AIM? That would of been crazy!

Chilli trying out his final midget for his street sideshow gang:
SOTG Zero replied to a topic in Playstation
Wow... That was great! LMAO! -
LMAO! Shows how closely I actually read this stuff. I might actually jump on and see if there is like massive amounts of people in the Home Square... That would be actually kinda cool looking. Also - there are gangs! People get together, put on the same clothes, come up to you (like 20 of them) and all start doing the same dance all around you. It is pretty freaky.

I already have the HOME beta and it is REALLY boring without friends to play with.... You can go bowling, go to the arcade, go to the movie theater and customize your pad... But without your buddies to hang out with, it is really boring and gets old quick... Here is an e-mail I got a week ago: I didn't attend... I might get on a little later tonight to check out the new graphics... If you have any questions, feel free to ask. And no, I can't let you get on my account and play or give you a key or let you download it onto yours... I have been asked a gazillion batrillion times.

Most beta testing for games published by Sony are through GAP (Gamer Advisory Panel). It is an invite only panel and is pretty hard to get in... Sony sends out random invites, if you are registered at PSU. I have been in GAP for a few years now.. I was too young for the Socom 3 beta, but right now I have HOME and beta tested Warhawk a long time ago.. MGS4 is gonna own! It looks amazing! This bundle is really gonna sell some consoles! Great idea by Sony!

Buy the PC version...? lol, j/k. I agree with Neo, google it.

Oooo. Yer in for a big surprise then. The pitching engine on MLB is so different from old games, there is a hell of a learnign curve. Shit, hitting too for that matter. Oh yeah, F Sequoyah and his aiming with the bat crap. End up throwing 20 pitches to every batter. Yeah, when I played the 08 demo it took like a few innings to get it down. I still blow fat cock at hitting, though.

And, Iraq is already in the U.N. http://www.un.org/members/list.shtml#i

I might actually pick this game up. I haven't gotten a baseball since before SOCOM 1... I loved the pitching!
-
I've never seen Beowulf, but I thought he was like naked the whole movie with his dick flapping around?
-
Oh, my bad.. I guess misread his post... Union = UN?

I think the blowback of United State's permanent presence in Iraq would be catastrophic! I do believe that this would create more terrorism and general distrust and hatred for the United States from the middle east. Most Americans think that the middle east hates us for our freedom, McDonalds, Starbucks, religion, etc. etc. I can not believe this for one minute. The reason the middle east despise us is, because of our presence there. If you look throughout the past 75 years, we have done so much in the middle east, you probably haven't heard of. Started when FDR made an agreement with Saudi Arabia to build a military base over there during at the beginning of the 1940s. Have you seen The Kingdom? It is mentioned in that movie. Fifteen of the 9/11 attackers were from Saudi Arabia. None of them were from Iraq, Afghanistan or Iran. During the early 1980s, a man named Ruhollah Musawi Khomeini started to gather people against the U.S. on the basis of our freedoms, but no one came. It was a lost cause. But, then during the late 1980s Osama Bin Laden started to recruit on the basis of our presence in the Middle East. People flocked to his needs. There is also our alliance with Israel. This probably pisses off every Palestinian in the middle east. This is definitely an entangling alliance if I ever saw one, the founding fathers would seriously be against this. It is dumb though, we give more money to the Arab nations around Israel than we do to Israel itself! We are just becoming Israel's big brother and when the day comes when we can't afford to support them, it is be bad. Israel needs to more independent and have less of a reliance on us. Then there is Operation Ajax. It is the 1953 coup d'etat of Iran, that was mostly orchestrated by the CIA and the U.K. We overthrew a democratic elected government and put a dictator in power. Now we are getting really close to going to war against them. We wonder why they don't like us? We are sticking our hands where they do not belong. It was for the oil, and that idea totally backfired. Yet, the U.S. always says that we want to spread democracy. And look what we just did in Pakistan and now we want to give them money! General despise of the United States. Every middle eastern country would probably hate us. Iraq wouldn't even like it. POSSIBLY better oil prices. Nothing else... Not worth it, though. NEGATIVELY. The growth of terror groups would sky rocket. Depends if Iraq wanted it or not. If they didn't, Iraqi people would wage against the U.S. If they wanted it, then it would probably be the Saudis and Syrians that would start breeding terrorists. Iraq would become VERY hostile. This has just discussing the foreign policy aspects of the topic. You can also go into the economic of it. Can the U.S. afford this? With a slumping dollar and HUGE national deficit. We can only borrow so much from China... It's like credit card, one of these days, you're gonna have to pay it off. China could easy flood our markets with our money and everything would go crazy. The Federal Reserve keeps printing off money that's causing inflation... That's just a brief over view of the economic side.
