What has respect have to do with it? We have paid for a substandard product with substandard support. What is there to respect? Respect is earned. You completely missed the whole point of my post. You are arguing with me about the same points I agree with. When somebody asks "why you don't like the game?" and you take the time to answer its not a free pass to be an asshole to somebody. Some very valid & sincere points have been made in this thread and because a person disagrees its gives them the right to disrespect somebody? Respect should be earned in my book....... But disrespect needs to be warranted.

You have them out of order but your numbers are correct. Its not too late to fix them...... The first round WAS correct. ANY games played from here on out according to the bracket as it stands right now WONT be. The brackets were done SOOO wrong guys. I know I'll get the standard "its just an evaluation tournament" answer but they were NOT set up to allow the seedings to work like they should. In our bracket after 1 match the #1 seed is playing the #3 and the #2 is playing the #4. A 16 team bracket is seeded like this: 1 v 16 8 v 9 7 v 10 4 v 13 3 v 14 5 v 12 6 v 11 2 v 15

Well spoken and says it all! Finally, somebody with a well thought out non disrespect oriented post. Very well spoken Irish. And Chik, Ive agreed with you the entire time way back to your first response. There is an old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"..... So why'd they fix it? You start a post asking what our problems were with the game and down talk all the responses. Its ok if you like, it truly is. But its also ok if people don't. I don't need to justify to anyone here why the game just isn't that good for me. Somebody said it best here a while back and I still believe it.... If the name Socom wasn't attached to this game half of the small numbers of people still playing wouldn't be. Dog CoD:WaW all you want but I can sign on right now and see 85k people playing.

To me the "lean" was a big deal. It WASN'T broke in the first place so why make it a "tilt controller" only option? This is a perfect example of what I'm trying to say.

You know what really bothers me about all this....... There were so many things that WEREN'T broken that actually made Socom enjoyable that were completely left out. How is it that you can't join a friend right from your list or at the very least see exactly where he's playing? They had that feature back in Socom2 on the PS2! No tiebreaker? Your kidding me right........ Then this gay switching sides mid map. Making EVERY mode on EVERY map simply doesn't work. Then after all this time release an on line ONLY game with SO many on line issues that simply makes the games stability horrible and experience unenjoyable. 7 maps with 3 of them being old maps? Give me a break...... If the name "Socom" wasn't attached to this game I dare to say that MANY of you wouldn't be playing it.

Dont see it talked much about here. I played the single player and loved the story. Multiplayer is weak unfortunately but I loved the single player.

I notice that I keep unlocking different things as I play multiplayer. Certain things uniform wise. The thing is, I never see a place to change anything. I still do my share of killing online but I seem to drop a lot quicker then others. Does this gear make a different online? Where can I change it out at? I looked but dont see anything.

hahaha, well thought out reply there. Trust me, Im comfortable playing either skill wise and any room I visit will tell you the same. I bought CoD5 but the kid has it at college. I'll have it soon when he comes home for Thanksgiving break. I can get back on for a better review then.

If it wasn't for a few clan members that still play this game I would have traded it in a long time ago. So, "it" doesn't come back to everybody. There are better games out there to play right now. Resistance2 is a good game for a change of pace. If you liked the first one, this is a notch up for sure. Still enjoy lag free 60 players rooms. I find its my "main" PS3 game right now.

But in all fairness, those with negative reviews..... Did you like CoD4? Because from everything I'm being told if you liked or enjoyed CoD4 then you will like and enjoy CoD5. And many on here would rather play CoD5 than Socom Confrontation. So, it can't be all bad.

The thing this kid "should" do is is stop playing video games all together and venture out of the house and take part it what others call "reality". Sure we all use names on here as an alter ego of sorts to escape a bad day at work or whatever but when it becomes "who you are" then you need to step away. Go out into the real world and work on the social skills that you clearly lack right now.
