So I have been not using any carriers for almost 1 year now, just been using WiFi-enabled phones and having SKYPE as my connection by their SKYPE-number that I have. For the most part I have had NO problems besides a few dropped calls and etc. The trick is that you have to have a WiFi-hotspot, and I have that using the 'ClearSpot' from http://www.clearwire.com for a Mobile connection anywhere in the USA. The ClearSpot is the same size as a mobile phone and I keep it charged and carry it when I am out. I have a guaranteed 5 hours with that unit and if I'm in a WiFi-enabled area I'll just use that WiFi and turn my ClearSpot off. NOW! So I want to get back in favor with these carriers who have screwed me whenever I go oversea's because they 1st tell me they have that country listed to get a good International plan...but I always get told a different story when I ask them why my bill is over $1,500. Anyway, long story-short. So I ordered mine and am just waiting to get it! I have done almost nothing since the 7th, just sitting around and taking walks watching TV and playing more online gaming. I'm really pumped about all of this and I don't know why. The last time I was 'this' pumped up, I was in line for a PS2 back in the day, in New Jersey! ;-) Anybody else waiting for it? And what Network do you use? Just curious and want to pass the next two days by seeing if I have any 'fellow-pumped-up' people in the Community, and wondering what you think about it (It's really HYPED up, and I know that we are ALL PISSED about there initially being an iPhone 5 coming...)

Ok, I saw it and like the first two episodes alot. What I'm NOT getting is how they THINK they've managed to make it to our past...and it's NOT going to affect the Future? ~ That is the twist because SOME THINGS are going to change. Problem is that I hate these TV episodes because they always leave us holding on to something hoping they'll return for another series next year. Movies have a beginning and an end (except when they want to start making 'to be continued' out of the movies). That's what sucks about TV shows....

Ok then I'll be optimistic. But if I recall correctly, they said the same stuff about testing servers and connections when Confrontation came out. If I see that this game turns out to be badass, I'll retract and go ahead and get it. I would LOVE to drive vehicles again and fly planes. ;-)

To be honest, with Confrontation screwing things up, not to mention the complete LOSS of interest because of my disappointment with 'Uncharted' (ooops! I mean, Socom: 4 ~ lmfao), I don't think I'll ever make my way back to Socom again ;-(

Yea, so I'm all into Mobile App design lately. I knew about this for a while but have been working on my own projects to not bring this to [uF]'s attention sooner. TapaTalk is very capable of customizing an App-version with [uF] logo's and ensignia. Instead of just downloading 'their version', [uF] could be having it's members using a version which we can call our own. Only the branding would change from what we are used to using ~ 'It would have [uF] all over it!' I think it's something that [uF] (as a colaborative effort from all it's members to Donate!) should look into because it falls under a more affordable option for the time being. Of course, [uF] would have to decide 'which tier' it would want to use (iOS, Android or Blackberry) and I'm certain that the Android-version would suffice for the majority of members. Here's one of the latest e-mails I've recieved about 'TapaTalk' finally having a Blackberry option available: Since [sCK] has had good success in having our Mobile App right next to us while gaming and being able to communicate and have our whole website in front of us with our game controllers, I 'have' to keep harping on how [uF] getting into the mobile world is beneficial, practical and user-friendly without having to be next to a computer to check the forums. Since most of us are already using TapaTalk...why not have our own [uF] version? Yea, "most" of the stuff in BattleLog are for the PC as was said, '...We built the server browser right into the BattleLog...'. But it is designed for all 3 consoles and has alot of features for PS3 and XBox 360 as well. I was just pointing out all of what it does from a general point of view, to cover all game console interests. And it gave me a hard time accessing it at first but I did what Nemesis did an finally got inside of it to look around. I don't think it's going to match up with COD Elite though because COD Elite is going to start putting out 1 DLC per month for a whole year, and with the COD Elite that all comes FREE.

Yea, and also the Happauge HD PVR supports PC "and" MAC computers, while the AverTV USB HD DVR does NOT. One of the reasons I took interest in the AverTV over the Happauge is the fact that the AverTV has the HDMI - OUT. I have an HDMI-Selector/Switcher box in my Media Room setup, which automatically uses just 'one' HDTV input setup for 4 HDMI solutions. One of my HDTV's only has one HDMI and 7 component inputs which I use all 7 of those for my house camera system.

Question: Against advice, I pre-ordered Battlefield: 3 'JUST YESTERDAY'. So, do I get to play in the Beta eventually by having to wait for an e-mail? Or will I not be a part of the Beta? BTW: I pre-ordered with GAMESTOP, because Origin tries to collect the full amount for the game prior to it's being released which doesn't allow me to opt out of the pre-order if I play the Beta and find I don't like the game. GAMESTOP will not charge until the game actually ships (Oct. 25th)...
