best buy cause of the product replacemtn warranty. its good for anywhere from 1 to 3 years dependant f which one you get... if u ps3 shits the bed u get a new one right then and there

best buy is a good place due to there in store warranty. But I would look into the sony warranty extension as well, no matter where you buy it. I was not a big fan of factory warrantys but I recently bought a plasma TV and the factory warranty was better than best buys. They had stipulations that were unmatched by any in store warranty. i got mine from gamestop, the PS3 already comes with a 1 year warranty

Only 1% of PS3s fail, so save yourself the money of the warranty. Like boody said, they already come witha 1 year manufacturers warranty. Only if you wanna be super safe, get the extended store warranty.

 

I run my PS3 24/7 for the past 4 months, and it works perfectly fine, no problems what-so-ever.

Same here no problams. Run all the time. I would say ebay is the place to get it now. Cheaper there.

I haven't had any problems with my PS3, but I did purchase a fan the day RB6 Vegas came out and it has already died LOL.

Yes, it has a heat sensor on it so when the PS3 overheats the fan turns on. Well the fan doesn't turn on anymore lol.
