I guess it depends on the mobile phone browser you are using, cause if you are using opera mobile or ie for mobile there are no graphics at all just a simple text version of the forums that is very fast loading

Actally with gaming, hard wired is your best option, but maybe adding an access point to the first floor would be a good idea. You can get a linksys one that does not have to be plugged in. It can be set up as a repeater.

if you are switching between your laptop and your ps3 then you need to turn your modem off for about a minute or so to clear your device's mac from the system. make sure you power down the modem completely even if you have to unpug the power to it. Then turn your modem on, followed by your device.
