Hopefully the graphics will look good since it's on PS3 and 360. What's "RTS"? Real Time Simulation? All indications are pointing to that being a strict possibility, something like "Command and Conquer" as CZ stated.

Zipper Still Working on Second PS3 SOCOM Original SOCOM developer working on the next PS3 SOCOM. By Sam Kennedy, 05/17/2007 At its recent San Diego Gamers Day, Sony announced that SOCOM was headed for the PS3 in a new game titled SOCOM Confrontation. What's interesting about Confrontation, though, is that it's the first console SOCOM game from a developer other than Zipper (the original developers of the SOCOM franchise) -- it's being handled by the brand new developer Slant Six games (who are also handling SOCOM Tactical Strike on the PSP). In its SOCOM Confrontation presentation, Sony mentioned that Slant Six is working closely with Zipper on the two titles. 1UP confirmed with Sony that Zipper is still working on its own new SOCOM game for PS3, though it's still quite a ways off (perhaps Fall of 2008?). Our understanding is that, unlike SOCOM Confrontation, it will provide single-player and multiplayer gameplay, and the extra development time will allow Zipper to really do some new things with the franchise. Nice find! Looks pretty real to me. Did anyone notice that map looks very similar to Crossroads...!? Except with more detail. Crossroads is my ultimate favorite map ever! However, did anyone catch this: Developer: Slant Six No more Zipper...? Could be a good thing........or not. Why would Sony buy out Zipper, then hand Socom to another developer? I searched for Slant Six and got this site: http://www.slantsixgames.com/ They seem like a relatively new developer with only a PSP game in their credits. They were formed in 2005. Under "Console" if you click on "Upcoming Projects", they do have an unannounced project for the PS3 with a release date of Fall 2007. This is very interesting. If anyone else finds some info regarding this, post it up. Update: Found where people are discussing Zipper not doing this new game which is apparently strictlt online only and that the same developer (Slant Six) is also developing the new PSP game SOCOM: U.S. NAVY Seals Tactical Strike. http://forums.gametrailers.com/showthread.php?t=99706

Delete your cookies and clear your history, then refresh the page and try again. I did all that and still see nothing.. any suggestions? Make sure you clear ALL history. Close all browser windows and try again. What browser are you using? (ex: IE< Netscape, Firefox, etc) You should see this image below on the main site.
