Dude, RIGHT before I got my current tv, THAT'S the type of tv I had. Got it from my grandma! Had the carved wood around it, you could use it as a table if you were so inclined, it had wheels at the bottom for better maneuverability and the thing was like 20 years old! I plugged up my Sega and my first Playstation to it before I bought a tv of my very own. It didn't have buttons....it had dials and a PULL KNOB to turn it on! LOL

True. And if I CAN put this out there, no clan here in UF is ever "punkd." We don't do that. In evaluation tourneys, well....Tacmap as well, there are no ASSURED invites to any clan except APC, being the clan that both Sniper and I are a part of. Other than that, no clan here should think they are an automatic "in." Nightstalkers, I have already talked with your leaders individually on this, and you know where I am on your situation.....but again, no clan here should feel punkd, entitled or anything like that. We will ALWAYS try to accomodate those clans who have had a good, long history with UF. But EVERY once in a while, ESPECIALLY in an EVAL tourney where its MAIN focus is to check out NEW clans to UF, not so much the veterans, no UF mainstay should feel entitled. Evals are for US, the UF creators. The tacmap tourneys, essentially, are for you, the upstanding clans of UF, because the EVAL tourneys (initially) and the status you have here (long term) are your ticket INTO the tacmap tourneys. This isn't busting anyone out. I just want to make sure everyone here is on the same page. It's ALWAYS hard choosing who will and will not be participating in ANY tourney here in UF, be it an eval tourney or the "big game," so we always appreciate it when a clan understands that and just says "good luck" instead of "WTF," because they know ANOTHER tourney will be just around the corner.

The invites for both Black IV and the UF Crucible will be posted here on the forum by Thursday night. You will need to ACCEPT your invite in order to participate in the tourney. This is just a small FYI to curtail any questions.

Just continue to have a great time with these tourneys, continue to respect the tourney rules and the clans you play with here in the UF Community, and UF.COM will continue to be the greatest place to associate and play against some of the greatest clans I have had the privilege of coming across for the last four years now. I'm looking very forward to another installment of Black, and looking forward to seeing how UF treats CoD4. It's a breath of fresh air to be able to include another game into the UF universe here, and I hope it truly pans out for everyone involved. Sniper and I figured that tonight, Invite Night, would be the BEST time to let you all know about a new feature on the main site at UrgentFury.com, and that's the new NEWSLETTER feature. The "special announcement" feature here on the forum is no longer going to be utilized anymore. For one, we message over 1,600 people whenever we send those out, and we don't want to clutter the email boxes of those players who don't wish to see them, instead getting the news from their other clansmen. And two, quite frankly, the server that hosts our forum actually doesn't ALLOW the number of emails that go out in a single announcement, and it usually results in numerous warnings sent to UF about our activity levels! LOL.....we guess we're gettin' too big fer our britches! SO, Sniper and I are utilizing a new Newsletter Feature on the main site that you have to intentionally sign up for in order to get reminders and messages from us.
