Does anyone here have this and played it online? Can you play either one of these against a friend online but with mic support? So you can talk online while you're playing? The descriptions say that it's online multiplayer capable but don't say much about mic support. If not....are there any other decent $5.99-$9.99 DL-able games out there on the PS store that DO support mic-chat while playing against/with someone? What about GAUNTLET? (I loved that game) Can you play WITH someone with mic support on this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ahhh....makes sense. I don't usually DL games from the PS store so this would be news to me.

So I just went to the Playstation online store to go find something else to play because the Beta sucks....and on the home page for the store, there are banner ads for games that you can click on to read more about. One was Wipeout HD. I clicked on it and then went back to the home screen. In it's place was Burnout Paradise. I clicked on it and then went back to the home screen. In it's place was SOCOM: Confrontation. On the ad, it's reads "October 16th." I thought this game was coming out on Tuesday the 14th? Did they change this and I was unawares? Sorry if this was posted somewhere else, but I don't remember reading a lot of griping about it so I thought maybe no one noticed this yet?

I had heard that there was already a tribute, so to speak, for them come Oct. 14th.........not sure.....something about "In the Loop" or "In the Poop" or "In the Soup...." Like I said, I'm not sure. :-X Don't know what else to say here I guess. Maybe "oh well" will do.

MOST LIKELY, the first upcoming Horsemen tourney will be open to those players whose clan is participating in the upcoming BLACK for Confrontation. But that is not a definite at this time.

harsh, i hope his ghost sits on you I stand by what I said. There's fit.....and it's acceptable. There's overweight....and it's acceptable. Then there's 1,000 pounds of what-were-you-thinking that is just completely UNACCEPTABLE. And to top it off....they want to blame someone ELSE for it. Gimme a break.

Not sure, don't care. All I know is that I'M excited about the prospect of having potentially 32 clans here going at it against one another on what could be classified as "unfamiliar terrain." It's SUCH a unique experience to host a tourney with this type of backdrop with, almost guaranteed, about 50-80% of every clan's personnel not being completely familiar with the map they'll be playing on. That heightens the whole experience of online warfare, if you ask me. Not knowing every single brick of every single building on a map......but not being sure just what was around that corner or not knowing the fastest route to get to that buddy of yours who's in trouble. This upcoming Black will be the most electrifying and exciting Black that Urgent Fury will have hosted in YEARS. I'm looking SO forward to it.

There are those in the community here who are whispering around wondering if Urgent Fury has shelved CoD4 with the impending release of SOCOM. I'd like to inform you that no, we have not. Urgent Fury is planning on starting up sign-ups for the next Crucible for the PS3 mid-way through the upcoming Black tourney. We realize that SOCOM has a LOT of hype surrounding it and we needed to make sure we weren't going to try and launch it during this frenzied time. We needed to find out just how many players/clans would be abandoning CoD4 entirely for SOCOM, which is not hard to fathom with a lot of the clans here.

I think if people out there ACTUALLY get tickled about their post count on a friggin' gaming forum, let them live blissfully in their weird little world.

As we go through a little redecorating here in the UF Community, I want to keep you all abreast of the subtle changes as they happen here in the coming weeks. There is no longer a separate section for PS3/2 and Xbox. > The "PS2" portion of things have been removed. Urgent Fury has, for lack of better terms, "moved on." We wish all the other players still looking for their first PS3 luck in getting there. > There are now PS3 and Xbox GAMING sections. Please keep these topics relatively close to gaming-focused only. > The sig-request sections are no longer split between PS3 and Xbox. > The Challenge sections are no longer split between PS3 and Xbox. > There is now a separate section for SPORTS, TV, MOVIES and relative entertainment topics. Please remember to corral these types of topics in this new section so that fervent sports discussions and such do not push down pertinent gaming topics in the general sections. Hannibal, that's one crazy tangle you were able to walk away from. And thank GOD you only hit a bridge and not another car. The story could have ended a lot more tragically and hell, who knows, maybe it would have had to have been BANDIT or someone posting up your story here and not you. But when I read that you had fallen asleep at the wheel, it sent chills up my spine, bro. I, too, once fell asleep at the wheel. The results were not as catastrophic looking as yours, but I was lucky all the same. Back about 9-10 years ago. I was running over I-57 here in Chicago after a long night out with a friend. I had two beers about 3 hours earlier. We weren't out on a bender, just out to dinner. He and I were driving back to his place in his car, singing songs on the radio and laughing and havin' a great time. When we got to his place, he knew it was late and offered that I could crash there, but I was feeling WIDE awake and knew if I went home to sleep in my own bed, I'd be gettin' some booty that night. LOL And I really felt fine. In the middle of my drive back, singing in the car, windows down and feeling fine, I fell asleep. This was back in the day when I DIDN'T wear my seat belt. I was about 23-24 and usually feeling invulnerable at that time. On the bridge that joins I-57 with 90/94, I fell asleep. I actually navigated the bridge WHILE asleep, but at the end of the curve, being asleep I did not straighten out my car from the turn and continued on my course, plowing right into the median than shields the Metra rail car system. Let me tell the rest of you......you have NEVER been woken up by a stranger alarm in the morning than waking up to a huge crash/thrash, moving about 60-70mph on the road, still driving and with your hands on a steering wheel. I had ricocheted off the median and was then heading in the other direction, crossing 4 lanes of traffic. I trashed my front end, bent my rim so badly that it was like trying to bring a bull down to the ground, and I was still half asleep. It was a miracle that I didn't kill myself, kill someone else or even HIT someone else, as there was traffic all around me. I remember that every night when I drive and I now NEVER take a chance if I have the opportunity to sleep somewhere before a long drive. It was the scariest thing I ever went through in my life. My craving for booty, however, was not affected in the crash. ;D Hannibal, glad you're ok, bro. In the end, it was just a truck and a lesson learned.

Perhaps his butt will be poked on 13 different occasions in jail? LOL
