If we're talking about UF: Black here, then you're right, though I think we're up to 27 now. That's a GREAT turn-out for the first Black tourney and we're EXCITED about this one because, as we said, MOST clans will be heading in with the same unfamiliarity with the new (and some old) maps as everyone else. It'll probably be the most UNIQUE Black tourney UF has ever had! We're looking to accommodate EVERYONE, so don't let the growing number of clans signing up discourage you in thinking it's dwindling your chances. Just think of it as more bullets and fun for everyone!

UF: HORSEMEN, the 4v4 season/playoff tourney here at Urgent Fury will see sign-ups going up on November 3rd. Remember, in HORSEMEN, you can assemble teams of 4 from any number of clans if you wish, not just your own. It will incorporate a small team fee to enter the tourney with a rather sizable payout to the winner and a consideration to the runners up. The tourney will launch two weeks from the day sign-ups go up. The first SOCOM: Confrontation in UF: Black, the free evaluation tourney for Urgent Fury, will be drawing to a close when HORSEMEN launches. We're hoping to see some VERY interesting combinations of teams sign up for the Horsemen tourney. This will be the first of THREE BRAND NEW tourneys never before played here at Urgent Fury. - TOW

S'funny...I watched it and thought that every time they cut to a new scene, as they would only stay on one person for about 5 seconds, it was because the character was about to cease being controlled and just kneel down in the middle of the street for a few seconds so they could get sniped by an opponent....and they wanted it to seem like the game was running smoothly. LOL

We're looking forward to this VERY unique opportunity to roll out a tourney for a new game like this, and this early, when not everyone will be 100% familiar with all the new surroundings of the new maps. This truly WILL be "unfriendly territory" for most clans in this tourney. And remember! Clans of UF will not be able to participate in the upcoming UF: TACMAP tourneys if they have not yet finished a Black tourney. YES, we're talking to you veterans out there as well! Has nothing to do with mistreatment and it has nothing to do with "cooling systems." MOST of those cooling systems are UNneeded. I take very good care of my system, always have since my PS2. Hell, when I traded in my PS2 to Gamestop in its original box, the guy was amazed as it was the cleanest system he had ever seen. I used the same mic for 4 years straight. My system sits atop a block column that only has my DVR unit underneath the PS3 and the PS3 is on top. And I do not have the DVR unit ON if my PS3 is on. Every night after playing, the PS3 gets covered in the green EB Games bag that I bought my very first PS2 game (Ace Combat) with and that same bag has covered my PS2 and now my PS3 unit EVERY night without fail for the last 5 years. No....my PS3 failures had nothing to do with my care or lack thereof. My PS2 lasted 5 years. My PS3s....they were all system failures. Internal. But I'm rollin' with it. And like I said.....by now, Sony's basically paid ME to play this system, so I really can't complain.

I tried this on my 2nd to last 80G because of a problem and after I reformatted, that's when I started getting my "hard disk corrupted, attempting to reformat" message about 3 days later. Returned it again. I will never try to reformat again.

I had these issues about a month ago. In about two weeks, I got "hard disk corrupted" messages. I was under warranty, so I didn't hesitate in taking it back. That's all I got on that.

The CONSTANT car shots from the movie were ANNOYING. Ok....we GET it....it's a fucking 2 hour long FORD MUSTANG COMMERCIAL. But NOW, I read that KITT will be able to transform into 2-3 other Ford models for whatever purposes. I read that in the paper, didn't even THINK of giving this show a chance. I remember GI Joe and Transformers being vehicles for selling toys to kids. I don't need some "drama" trying the same shit on me. If anything, it's demeaning to the story, or whatever they have brewing over there for a story nowadays.

Well, we all know by now that everyone in this community is either playing SOCOM or CoD4. BUT, and I thought this would be entertaining.....if memory serves, can you remember the VERY FIRST home video CONSOLE (non-computer) game you've ever played in your life? I thought back a bit.... I WAS going to say "Kung-Fu" on the Nintendo. But then I remembered I had to think back a bit. I thought it was "Asteroids" on the Atari. Then I really remembered, just a few months before that.....my very first video game I EVER played was "Kaboom!" on my Intelevision. WOW......memory lane is a scary place. I remember those graphics, and think about what I play on now. Geez.

I didn't read through all of the suggestions, but I always get my HDMI cables at cablesforless.com http://www.cablesforless.com/c-620-standard-quality-hdmi-cables.aspx 3-foot cable for $6. I bought them for my HD Directv package and my PS3. NEVER a problem with them, quality is crystal.

LOL..... You should hear the Ravens sometimes at the Mass feelin' a bit silly. A team just running around the map mic-ing in with a "caw caw caw caw." We get stupid sometimes.

My first name ever was Dirge113. 113 being my favorite number and "Dirge" was an old comic book character I created. I still wish I had chosen that name to stick with to this day sometimes. Merlin was over at my place around the time we were starting to form APC when we were kicking around names that "we were going to stick with." Merlin and I, aside from being great friends, are great TOOL fans (hence, even the name of our old clan). Out of all the Tool songs, Merlin thought the name "Undertow" was the most prominent and ominous of them all. I was on the fence about changing from Dirge, but he told me "dude, this is a fucking KICKASS name and if YOU don't take it, -I- will!" Thinking about the possibility of regretting never taking his kickass suggestion, I changed my name and have been Undertow ever since. For those that don't know, an "undertow" is a silent and invisible current beneath the water's surface that can drag a person from a manageable depth of water and pull them under, drowning them.

Huh? Where did Sopranos come from? I couldn't watch that show. Too many characters with guido names made for a very confusing hour for me. I stopped watching that show in the 3rd season. If a character's name wasn't "Tony," then I didn't know who the hell they were talking about.
