I'm taking Albert "I'm not a machine" Pujols. Fielder, Gonzo, and Howard will get tired if they make it past the 1st round. Inge isn't going to be a factor, but Pena and Mauer can put up a good fight. I see it like this: Final 4: Pujols, Mauer, Howard, and Pena. Final round: Pujols vs Mauer.

CNN REPORT -- As speculation continues to swirl over Sarah Palin’s presidential ambitions, the equally colourful and controversial co-star from her Saturday Night Live appearance has announced he too may seek public office – from the other side of the political spectrum. Alec Baldwin, the outspoken and famously ultra-liberal Hollywood star mercilessly sent in the puppet satire Team America, has been rehabilitated from the showbiz dead by his scene-stealing role in US television show 30 Rock and has now put word out that he is seeking a seat to run for Congress in 2012. Baldwin, whose political entanglements include blogging for the Huffington Post and repeatedly tangling with Fox News attack-dog Bill Reilly, told Playboy magazine that he was looking for an opportunity to run when his 30 Rock contract ends in 2012. “The desire is there, that’s one component,†he told the magazine. “The other component is opportunity.†Baldwin has already ruled out offers to run as a governor in Ohio or California. “But I would have to live in California. And who wants to live in California?†he asked. Asked if he would be qualified for such a race in any case, he quipped: “That's what I hate about Arnold Schwarzenegger. His only credentials are that he ran a fitness programme under some bygone president... I'm (Alexis) de Tocqueville compared to Schwarzenegger." Baldwin said that his fantasy opponent would be Joe Liebermann, the former conservative Democrat from Connecticut who went independent after losing the party ticket. In the end, however, he conceded that his political ambitions lie in his native New York. “Here anything can happen,†Mr Baldwin said. “People get sick, die. They’re offered lucrative deals and want to cash in and make money for their retirement. People misstep. Unfortunately, an opportunity for me may mean bad things for someone else.†Baldwin knows all about missteps. His failure to curb his tongue has brought him close to derailing his career more than once. Most recently lawyers for his ex-wife, Kim Basinger, publicly released a voicemail recording when Mr Baldwin called his 12-year-old daughter a “thoughtless little pigâ€. The actor and Basinger were then embroiled in a bitter custody case. Baldwin’s rehabilitation came courtesy of 30 Rock the show written by Palin-lookalike Tina Fey. Saturday Night Live also gave him the opportunity to share the screen with the real Mrs Palin whom he later called a “beautiful, beautiful woman†and “Bible Spice†while conceding she was not who he would want with her finger on the nuclear button. Baldwin has not always been so courteous about those on the other side of the political divide. In his Huffington Post blog, he once called former vice president Dick Cheney "a lying, thieving Oil Whore. Or a murderer of the US Constitution.†Of the Republicans driving Bill Clinton’s impeachment, he told Conan O’Brien’s Late Show: “If we were in another country... we would stone them to death and we would go to their homes and kill their wives and their children. We would kill their families, for what they're doing to this country.†Baldwin later apologised, and the network explained his remarks were meant as a joke and promised not to rerun them. His remarks came as another former Saturday Night Live star, Al Franken, was preparing to be sworn in to the Senate after the climax of an eight month battle over the Senate election in Minnesota. A day earlier, the actor Kal Penn, who starred with Hugh Laurie in the medical drama House took up his new job as a representative for the arts in the Obama White House on a sabbatical from Hollywood. The House scriptwriters gave his character a self-inflicted death to free him up for government service.

Take care Chaka. Best of luck brother.

It is a possibility. They may be testing it too. Or it could just be late maintenance.

Online now with [RVN] Paramedic, [DEA] Weed Nazi, [cBF] Hondo 66, as well as other DEA and cBF members and we are now in our 2nd consecutive room with severe lag. Also people joining the room have been saying this is a socom wide incident. Teleporting, disappearing, and other issues associated with severe lag is happening throughout each room and map.

We will not be seeing this in 2009, rest assured it is a 2010 launch. I'm excited nonetheless.

My theory is the wife had something to do with it. Going to Mississippi is an easy alibi.

So I finally bought my first netbook, Toshiba NB205
o-BacklasH-o replied to o-BacklasH-o's topic in Playstation
Well I already have all my essentials installed (MS office, Adobe Suite, etc). I don't see what it can't do that a laptop/notbook or Desktop can do, besides burn DVD's (since it lacks an optical drive). -
Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been killed, a source has confirmed to ESPN.com. McNair, police said, suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville, News Channel 5 in Nashville reported. McNair played 13 seasons in the NFL, 11 were with the Tennessee Titans. He played his final two years with the Baltimore Ravens, retiring after the 2007 season. McNair was picked third overall in the 1995 draft out of Alcorn State by the then Houston Oilers.

I was instantly in love with the Toshiba NB205 when I went to Best Buy last night looking for a netbook, especially when I got it for $295 out the door (List price is $439 after tax). I believe it is one of the first netbooks to have a real hard drive and for such a small computer it has a TON of space (160 GB HDD) and 1 GB of RAM. Also it has a 9 hour battery life, which REALLY intrigues me. When closed it isn't even an inch and a half thick, so it's very sleek and the appearance is stunning (I have frost white). The keyboard is a huge feature for me. I have big hands and with most other netbooks I couldn't accurately type worth a crap, but with this one the unique keyboard design is much easier to type on. The only knocks I have seen thus far would be it runs on XP out of the box, which for me isn't a knock because I hate Vista. Also to set up the wireless was a tad tricky because there isn't a simple "on/off switch." After searching for some time you need to hit function and f8 to turn the wireless card on/off. For anyone looking to get into a netbook, I think this is far and away the best option (I believe it is Toshiba's first and just came out last month).

The one and only movie I HAVE to see: Inglorious Bastards
o-BacklasH-o replied to [-VR-] Tool_Minion's topic in Movies
Cannot wait. Huge fan of Tarantino's work and haven't missed a movie of his either. Stellar cast for this film as well, this movie has been a long time of anticipation. -
Doesn't volunteer suggest you don't make income from the position?

So true. There are only a select few games that possess that replayability (outside sports games). To me only Socom, CoD MW, and Hawx have really kept me into the game for a sustained period of time.

And also photoshoped. There is a little bit of bush in that one. Yeah I was going to say fake for sure. But back on topic, Megan Fox for sure.
