REAL Cubs fans and people who know anything about baseball don't blame stupid ass curses or Bartman...I love how in people's ignorance all Cubs fans get categorized into this group of "drunken idiots who blame losses on a curse."

Maine has had one start in the 2nd half that didn't go so well, and in his career he has always been a better first half pitcher. wtf? I was going to leave that one alone lol.

Holy shit, that's a Havoc size sig right there lol...

Good moves by the Saints and Skins who are playing for this season, and a good move for the rebuilding Phins. I too think the Giants were better off with Boss and Shockey, though. Boss showed he is more than capable of handling the workload though. Also next major move: That was on the front page of the Chicago Trib on Sunday, I highly doubt that will be possible though. I figured I'd take a shot of it to share. The ONLY way Favre ends up in Chicago is if the Pack caves and gives him his release, which even then isn't a lock with Minnesota and Atlanta also rumored to be interested. The Bears will have to convince him they are ready to win this year. They made a step forward signing Kevin Jones, but the O-Line is still subpar.

Man those guys must have felt stupid when they looked at the finished job lol.

Yes actually I watch baseball and play baseball every day of the season. You just questioned how much I watch baseball, but then you cite Rich Hill as one of the Cubs pitchers? He's in A ball, hasn't been in the majors since May...Also we have another guy in the front of the rotation, you may have heard of him as he was an all star, Ryan Dempster (who at times has been better than Big Z). When there's a debate about Oliver Perez there is no comeback, I absolutely LOVE the guy to death since his days in Shitsburg. He single handedly saved my Fantasy Baseball season and won me a shitload, but since his lights out season he has been SO inconsistent (even last year when his numbers overall were good). He can dazzle you one day with 10 K's and 2 hits allowed, then comeback and walk 8 batters his next outing lasting 2/3's of an inning. You think he'll hold up in the playoffs, because I don't. Maine has just been flat out awful at times this year, a year in which he should have matured at the age of 27...He has only lasted more than 6 and 2/3's of an inning ONCE all season and his walks to strikeouts ratio is terrible. Pedro has experience and is a big game pitcher, but can pitch good consistently? More importantly can he stay healthy? In only his what, 7th start back he already left with early due to injury. With the exception of Santana and Pelfrey (who probably won't get the ball in the playoffs because of his inexperience as a starter at the Major League level) there hasn't been a solid starting pitcher for the Mets. Even your bullpen has had it's issues. Wagner has blown multi-run leads and he may be headed to the DL shortly. Smith and Shoenweis have been solid, but outside them and maybe Duaner Sanchez your bullpen is also at best a tad above average. I'm going to be honest, Jose Reyes needs to perform. He is the key to your offense, without a doubt.

The Mets will beat the Cubs in the NLCS...riiiiiiight ......You have NO pitching. Johan will get two runs of support in game 1 and we will win in a low scoring game. Maine, Pedro, and Perez will get shelled as is their MO this entire season. This is all pending the Mets even make it to the playoffs which is highly unlikely in it of itself. What's the word on Wagner's MRI?

Like I said in the other thread, this movie was simply masterful. Go see it! -
Two words: FUCKING AWESOME Ledger made this movie. His role as the joker was PHENOMENAL. Definitely one of, if not, the greatest villain performance of all time. This truly lived up to the hype and then went a lot further. GO SEE IT!

You are seriously the epitome of a post whore lol (awaits a response to this thread, which is guaranteed to follow). -
I liked his performance in 3:10 to Yuma. He is a very solid actor and he plays a lot of different roles wonderfully.

Never saw that before, that really applies to things you see on an everyday basis on forums.

I ordered tickets online last night. The closest IMax to me has been sold out for 3 weeks now for the midnight showing. They are saying this movie is on pace to be the top grossing film of all time. I believe I heard between 20-30 million in ticket sales already on the radio and the movie hasn't even started showing yet. That's insane.

At the E3 Media & Business Summit, Sony announced it was introducing a new PlayStation 3 model with a built-in 80 GBhard drive for $399, replacing Sony’s current 80GB PS3 which retails at $499. The new 80GB model essentially doubles the storage capacity of Sony’s currently offered 40GB PS3 model, which is also priced at $399. The new 80GB PS3 will start shipping in September, according to a statement on Sony’s Web site. The new 80GB PS3 will also include integrated Wi-Fi and a built-in Blu-ray player, but like the old 40 GB model it will not be backwards compatible with PlayStation 2 games. The 40GB version of the PS3 will eventually be phased out, Reuters reported. Sony’s announcement comes after Microsoft cut the price of the 20GB Xbox 360 to $299 from $349. Microsoft also plans to introduce a new 60GB Xbox 360 model that retails for $349, to eventually replace the 20GB model, which will be gradually phased out. This price cut is not Sony’s only salvo against Microsoft. Sony announced earlier at E3 that it would be introducing a new video distribution service, as competition for Microsoft Xbox Live, according to Reuters. In addition to watching videos on their PS3s, users will also be able to transfer downloads to their PSPs for portable viewing. With these new announcements from both Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo’s next move is open to question.
