Big Z is going to come through big time tomorrow. The Cubs offense looked horrible against Lowe and Dempster was trying to strike everyone out instead of trusting his defense (Granted the outside corner wasn't being called a strike all night, but still). The turning point was the grand slam, then desperation set in and there were some ugly at bats. I heard a great comparison tonight. In early September the Cubbies fell into a similar situation against Cincy and made Bronson Arroyo look like a Cy Young candidate after being down a few runs.

I was on my way to high school when I heard about the north tower on the radio on B96 (my fellow Chicago natives would be familiar with the station). That was the beginning of my senior year. I remember getting to my first class and the TV was on. Just as I walked in the second plane hit the South tower. We didn't have any classes for the day, we just watched the tv no one really spoke. I was filled with such anger and then sadness for the families involved.

Hell yeah, Path was a beast on those turrets too. I'm sure we'll face off in Confro! I was looking forward to playing Cow too, that would have been a great match as well.

I think I'm going to get my toughest competition on the Socom side from BB Xanthe and on the CoD 4 side from Miz or Affliction. I was reallllllly looking forward to facing you Carnage in Ronin 1, but I got derailed because my internet prevented me from logging on for my scheduled war. We had some EPIC battles in UF2, I remember Killing Fields and Tidal Fury gunfights like it was yesterday.

Here's what makes up my mind. I am an avid hunter and outdoors man. Obama thinks that NOONE in America should own a weapon. Why is that? Because of gun crimes he says? I'm not sure the exact statistic, but I know that a vast MAJORITY of gun crimes are committed by guns which are illegally owned and/or obtained. Obama wants to strip law abiding and people who have never committed a single crime of their 2nd amendment rights, which in my mind will further promote gun violence. Another ludicrous law that Obama said he would support is the prosecution of a gun owner whose gun was involved in a crime. This means that if someone's house was broken into and their guns were stolen he would support the prosecution of the gun owner for crimes thereafter committed with that weapon. That's just awful. I lock all my guns in a safe and I suggest anyone who owns a gun go that route, but safes are very expensive and today's society can't afford to spend $2,000+ on a safe. I know I certainly cannot anymore with the way the economy has been in the last year plus.

This is one thing that is false about the new rule. Bob Brenley and Len Kasper were talking about this the other day during the Cubs game and I agree with what they said 100%. If you think about any close call on a homerun or a fan interference, you ALWAYS have a manager come out and argue. The umpires will then confer and make their decision and if the decision is overturned then the opposing manager will come out and argue. I think this may speed things up a bit on these types of calls, but I'm still against it as a whole. -
NEW YORK -- Major League Baseball has reversed its long-standing opposition to instant replay and will allow umpires to check video on home run calls in series that start Thursday, a person familiar with the announcement told The Associated Press. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because no announcement was authorized before 5 p.m. Tuesday ET. The start date comes nearly 10 months after general managers voted 25-5 to use the technology and following MLB agreements with the unions for umpires and for players. -------------------------------- Personally I am against this. You NEED to have the human element in the game, that's what makes baseball. I can support this move so long as it doesn't carry over to close plays at 1st, balls and strikes, and so on.

That was my opinion too after the likes of Semi Pro, Blades of Glory, and other films of his. I think Step Brothers was one of his best though, along with Anchorman.

PS3 - 0 360 - 1 I never even got to play the original 360 I bought, it had the RROD out of the box. I just sold the replacement 360 about two weeks ago, but that one worked fine.
