  1. I like you all. I think. No I do. Maybe. Yeah lets go with, I do like you. Unless you don't like me. Then I don't like you either. And I don't like you even more than you don't like me. Unless you do like me then I like you more than you like me. Oh hell I don't know. That's what happens when I have to think on a peaceful Sunday. On a serious note though: Nice post Junk. As Xanthe stated compliments go a long way. Its always good to see the positive posts in here. There are a lot of stand up people in here. If there weren't many of us wouldn't be here. I have had the opportunity to play with members of [DSM], [101], [503], [COU], and [odc] and every one of them has carried themselves with the utmost HONOR and INTEGRITY. I hope to get to play with more of their members and more clans from UF over the months to come. And just so we're all clear on how I feel about you.............I dont know yet. ;D But if you ever think I'm being mean to you simply look to my avatar for the reason why.
  2. Congrats man. I grew up listening to my Grandpa and his friends playing Blue Grass on every instrument imaginable. I never learned to play myself but have great respect for those who can produce "to the bone" sounding licks like that. Good luck to you.
  3. "LOYALTY ABOVE ALL ELSE, EXCEPT HONOR"
  4. Yeah thanks Scofield.
  5. Just picked up my code today. PSN: BIGDANIEL So I was just reading the back of my Beta Card and it says, "IMPORTANT: REDEEM YOUR BETA PROMOTION CODE FIRST on the PLAYSTATION Network, AND THEN share the code with two (2) friends to join you in the Public Beta." Does anyone know where at in the Playstation Network one might find the area to redeem your code? And does this mean that if you redeem it online that you are not able to share the code with two friends?
  6. Does the phrase, "Pot calling the kettle black", mean anything to you?
  7. Andawg - Be pissed man. Make Sega aware of the problem. We love our country and dont like it when mistakes like this happen. Video game or not. Inferno - Sorry to hear about your Uncles man. Keep believing in them and what they stood for, by any means. Keep fighting the good fight. And don't ever let some opinionated asshole rock your faith. For the rest of you, "YOUR OPINION IS SHIT", folks on this thread - Andawg made a comment about our flag. Something 99% of AMERICANS take seriously. If you Canadians don't respect your flag enough to understand then fine. But we AMERICANS do. We don't give a fuck how you do it up in Canada. In AMERICA we protect our flag with our lives. Your opinion is what it is and is allowed to be posted here. Fair enough. But where in the FUCK do you get off blasting a kid who lost his uncles in war? Who the FUCK do you think you are? A few of you aren't even fucking AMERICANS. But yet you see fit to voice your opinion about how we should remember a lost one. This is the way he has chosen to remember his loved ones. Could you be any more of a fucking asshole? Now I'm sure as hell not going to apologize for my tone or my language in this post. I LOVE my country, I LOVE my flag, and I LOVE all they stand for. And while everyone has their own opinion and may not agree on everything, even in AMERICA, the one thing we will always agree on is that we wont put up with outsiders bashing the UNITED STATES of AMERICA or any of its citizens regardless of your reason. I believe the are a few people on here than owe an apology to Inferno.
  8. Yeah its all over the news and internet this morning. That's a damn shame. He was a funny guy. And pneumonia of all things. It must have been pretty bad if they weren't able to get it treated in time.
  9. Thanks guys. I'll check back with them here in a couple of days.
  10. How did you get your code? I was just at GameStop yesterday and they told me that they knew nothing about codes yet.
  11. They did that with The Wire too didn't they?
  12. Ray Person is the man..!!He got his "First Combat Jerk". lol I am liking this show a lot more after watching Ep 4. Not sure what did it, but it just seemed better. Actually he was in the middle of his First Combat Jerk when he was interrupted. I don't believe he actually got to finish it. It's gotten better because of restitution. They finally started getting some restitution for all the dumb ass leadership they've had to deal with.
  13. I went and reserved my copy today at GameStop. I asked the lady working about the Beta. She was clueless. I would highly recommend going into your local GameStop on the 11th and asking directly.
  14. I saw Rodgers play last year and he's got some skills. I think the Packers will do just fine.
  15. That would be him. James Ransone - Cpl. Josh Ray Person (Generation Kill) and Chester 'Ziggy' Sobotka (The Wire)
  16. For me its been an honor. For you its been a joy. While those who give their lives and go that extra distance when no one else will do deserve the word honor when being talked about, there are many sections within the definition of honor. And I chose honor because that's what it was for me. Favre has earned my respect as a man both on and off the field. From his relentless work for the victims of Katrina in Mississippi to his on field professionalism, which is rare now a days among pro-athletes. Brett Favre is one pro-athlete that I'm proud to talk to my boys about when we talk about sports and the kind of people athletes should be. There are a lot of Honorable people out there who are not GOD, have not cured cancer, had a shinning light behind them in sainthood, sacrificed their lives, or gone that extra mile to do good. It's all relative to your current surroundings and perspective.
  17. So I'm watching The Wire Season 2 tonight and I see this guy on there that looks and sounds real familiar but cant place him. Its driving me crazy for the longest time. Its the Ziggy character. The Union Presidents son. Then comes this scene where he gets into it with Cheese. After they rip off his camaro it comes to me who this guy is. He's the CPL driving Hitman 21 (I think that's the call sign), the lead Humvee in Generation Kill. The guy who's always signing in the Humvee with the kick ass Sgt, Trumbley, and the Rolling Stone reporter. The guys who wrote The Wire must have really liked him.
  18. Keep in mind too that we don't know what was said behind closed doors from prior to his announcement to retire to today. For all we know they may have told him that they owned him and he found a way to force the Packers to trade him. He may have been looking to get out of Green Bay (the organization) for some time and they may have told him that that would never happen that the only way he'd stop being a Packer was to retire. There's always more than 2 sides to every story. Either way, he's one of the greatest to ever step on the grid iron and its been an honor to have watched him.
  19. I kind of agree, except that I hate getting stuck on shit laying around while running around in fp. It's one of the biggest reasons I don't like FPS. Seems like I'm always stuck on a friggin log or something. Keep in mind guys these are screen shots for a game that isnt out yet. No sense in getting all worked up over something you know will more than likely change prior to the release. As far as the 3rd person vs 1st person views, it comes down to what you prefer. Obviously. While FPS takes away the ability to see around corners without exposing yourself (you know what I mean too) it also takes away any type of peripheral. I personally prefer having the peripheral. Maybe the over the shoulder view in Confrontation will be the best of both worlds.
  20. I think Favre is betting on the coaches and GM to realize that too. Once they do they'll want to get rid of him like he wants. I'd like to see him come to Tampa. Then we make it to the Super Bowl this year. Making the Super Bowl when you're the team hosting it, KICK ASS!!!!
  21. I agree. And I'll think he'll be yet another statistic used to show that the majority of players taken late in the NFL draft are your true "work horses".
  22. What do you guys think of this kid? I was impressed with him all of last year and of course because of his school being Hawaii and his loss to Georgia, I figured he'd go late in the draft, which he did. But watching him in the Hall of Fame game, and I know its mostly a game of those looking for jobs, but watching in that game, I think the Redskins made a good choice.
  23. Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre went into a meeting Tuesday morning acknowledging that he was at a "stalemate" with the team and believed the "best thing for this team is for us to part ways." Favre left practice shortly before 3 p.m. ET Tuesday, telling ESPN's Wendi Nix that he was not going to practice. He said there would be another meeting with his family and Packers general manager Ted Thompson to discuss trade possibilities, in hope of resolving the situation. That meeting at Favre's house ended at 3:45 p.m. ET. "We're at a stalemate," Favre said. "Mike and I both agreed last night that me being out there is a distraction and will continue to be a distraction. We all know the reason I'm here is because the commissioner [Roger Goodell] reinstated me so we have a lot of things to figure out. It's simple and complicated, both at the same time." Favre said the team once again rejected his request to talk to teams about a trade within the NFC North -- preferably more
  24. Her breath must have smelled like his ass the way he was going to town on it.
