Just out of curiosity, how does simply recruiting friends on Facebook help the American Red Cross? Has someone offered to donate money for each new friend you make?

For me, its been just like the Beta on this issue. The game picks and chooses when it wants me to have a pistol or grenades for a secondary. I haven't been able to find the pattern yet. My system froze up on me twice today and both times when I would get back into a game my wireless controller settings had to be reset. I have this setting saved in my profile too. Again, just like on the Beta.

My Review: With the exception of the freezing, the lag, the mics, the error messages, and now the servers, the game isnt bad. So far its Socom: Combined Assault upgraded with PS3 graphics and maps. There are quite a few bells and whistles to keep people distracted from the fact that the game still has lag, mic, and server issues. The mic is nice too. I'm glad I got it with the game too. Looks like it'll be priced at $50 by itself.

I thought acceleration was your speed while moving. Is that not the case? If it is, how does that effect your sniping? And does it also effect your shooting?

I haven't seen this either. I have a handful or so slots to save presets but no way of getting to them without backing out of the game and loading them. And does anyone know where I can find the calendar, the ladder, etc? I haven't seen that option anywhere on there. And I still cant figure out how to get people to follow me in game. I'm still having to put my location in my comment box. There's also, according to the booklet that came with my game, a Community Portal and Downloads option within the Community. I don't see those either. Did they forget to add these things?

Well, in my case, the name BIGDANIEL doesn't exactly allow for instant mental pictures that can be communicated in a sig. Much like Undertow, JoeFriday, Vengance, Cow, etc. I've chosen to go with a sig that's indicative of my likes and not some "BIG" guy named Daniel. My country and beautiful women to be precise. Of course from a truly psychological point of view I guess it could carry underlying feelings of my mom and the effects women in general have had on my life. Maybe I've been made to feel at a subconscious level that they are nothing more than beauty and body and should be displayed as such. No. I just like to look at hot chicks and the greatest flag to ever fly on God's green earth.

Rumor has it that Slant Six and Sony will be putting out another patch (1.7) next week as well as the one (1.6) that's supposed to be out today. Patch 1.7 can be picked up in any store and will come packaged with an exclusive PS3 blue tooth mic. They've nicknamed the patch Confrontation.

In this case the three we "all of a sudden" couldn't kill were all in the same clan. I would have called it lag all night if it wouldnt have been for the tag less guy offering to go GOD on them. I had no clue this was even possible yet. I'm still trying to get my controller figured out. Who in the hell has time to sit around looking for glitches? We've just posted information and videos up of whats out there on our site in the general public section for anyone who wants to read and see more about it. I hope the developers are able to create the needed fixes for these types of issues at a quicker rate than before.

Last night, after we started noticing that all of a sudden there were three guys on the other side we could no longer kill, I had a guy offer to turn his GOD mode on so he could kill them. He then started telling us that codes already exist for allowing people to be invisible and invincible on the Beta. Of course we refused his help and kept a watchful eye on him. The three in question left immediately after the map was over too so we didnt get to question them. GLITCHERS are back. Beware. It may not always be lag.

I always knew that if Paul Newman was in a movie it was going to be good. He'll be missed. For those of with young kids, I wonder who they'll get to replace him as Doc Hudson in Cars 2?

Those are good points. Something most American citizens are unaware of too, are that those in Congress don't pay into social security. Imagine how fast things would get fixed if they did. Also, they vote for there own pay raises. I wanted to double check before I posted it because I had thought that those in Congress didnt pay taxes but I was wrong. However, they do get some pretty nice little perks. Here's a little info regarding their taxes: http://www.ntu.org/main/page.php?PageID=22 Notice it said they pay taxes on their congressional pay. Nothing about a gift tax on the money they get for campaigns from donors and lobbyists.

As I get older I find myself thinking more and more about the possibility of running for a political office. Starting local first of course. But then, I have a lot skeletons. I did inhale and enjoyed it. I've made my fair share of bad decisions too. And then there's that money thing. I don't have enough of that to run anyway. ;D On a serious note though, you never know when it may happen. I found myself believing in the possibility when I watched Man of the Year.
