Orlando, FL I had been on vacation and was looking forward to the drive back north. I woke up and turned on Good Morning America like I do every morning. Kicked back on the hotel bed letting the kids sleep in while the wife took a shower. I cant remember what the story was that was interrupted but they interrupted with footage of this airplane that just crashed into one of the twin towers. I hollered at my wife to come see this horrible accident. While we were sitting there watching the footage we watched the second plane fly into the second tower. I turned to my wife and said, "that's no accident." We sat there in a deafening silence in utter shock at what we had just saw. The shock turned to absolute anger when we saw the plane in Pennsylvania and the plane at the Pentagon. They closed Disney that day. First time ever. We packed everything up to start our drive home and saw a couple, both weighed close to 300 pounds each, loading into a Ford Fiesta, the last car available for them to rent, to start their drive back to Washington state. That's when we found out that all airports had been closed. We listened to talk radio the entire 18 hour drive back home. Full of overflowing emotion. Our anger was silenced temporarily when we would pass a vehicle flying an American Flag or when we would stop some where, and witness fellow Americans united in their compassion for those whose lives were stolen. God bless the United States of America and those who have paid the ultimate price. May we never forget them.

;D LOL Now how did you know I was a mean little black man? Who likes cheesy poofs. So what did you "ON THE FENCE" guys think of last nights episode? That store clerk was pissed huh? Last week I thought that the girl in the hospital bed looked familiar but I couldn't place her. Its Drea de Matteo from the Sopranos. I personally am liking this show. Its got a future if the writers keep it true and interesting.

What?? You mean to say you never rode around the neighborhood with the trucker hat and the CHIP's sunglasses on your Huffy with the banana seat and ape hangers trying to be Billy Bad Ass? Man you dont know what you were missing. The chicks, the power, the cred. You could've had it all. At least until those damned high schooler's showed up and ran you off.

That would be 30 people, Cool, I'm in. Friday 2300 EST, and for us noobs, Friday 11 PM Est, 8 PM PST 15 15 leaders + their co-leaders would be 30.. no.? Yes. But as I posted and later highlighted, ONLY being the keyword here. ONLY the clan leader, or co-leader, would be able to participate. Meaning one spot for each clan. Either the clan leader or the clan co-leader. 15 clans = 15 spots. 1 spot per clan. That spot could be filled by the clan leader or the clan co-leader. So 15 clans and 15 spots. 15 ;D

I had the pleasure of meeting him at UFC 71 in Vegas. Real nice guy. I'll never forget when I shook his hand I thought how much it must hurt to get hit with those things. He had some seriously heavy hands. A loss to the UFC world.

The Flugtag in Tampa a few months ago was crazy insane. You couldn't move there were so many people. I highly recommend it to those who have never been. -

Better question would be.............How did you get multiple people into a clan? I spent over an hour trying to get my members invites they could accept. It never happened.

For the most part^^^ BUT this BETA version can also be old (2 months, 3 months, or maybe 6 months). The finished product could be quite a bit different from this BETA. This is probably the same BETA version we have been seeing for the last few months. /6 needs NO feedback on gameplay for this BETA, they released this so they can tweak the servers so there is no server problems come the release. Don't think /6 cares about your input here, slant /6 is treating us like hamsters on a treadmill, running the system to capacity to see what shakes loose. There are always future patches.

Good idea Tow. I spent more time sending and clearing messages lat night than I did playing. Luckily for me though it took 20 minutes to get into the beta and 10 minutes to get into a game. I had plenty of spare time.

Graphics - GOOD Better than the previous Socoms. Map - GREAT Love the additions to both big and small. I almost didn't recognize the map at first. Weapons - Its a Beta so I'm assuming we aren't seeing all of them. Hopefully the full version will bring more choices. The grenades take way to long to switch to and throw. I had lots of problems last night trying to set up my Primary weapon and C4 as a Secondary during Breach. I had rifle/grenades, rifle/pistol, pistol/grenades but couldn't get rifle/c4. Its good to have the cross hairs back. Settings - I like the ability to change them in game without having to back out and adjust them. Several times last night they would reset themselves. I would shut off the motion detector and two rounds later it would be back on. I had several rounds where I couldn't access my grenades or C4. They were locked for some reason. Scenarios - Good I like the elimination scenario. Its challenging. MICS - Great I wasn't sure if I would like the set up at first. The proximity thing is cool. You don't know for sure where they are but you know they're close. What sucks though is your wife or kids yelling in the background and letting the enemy know you're close. I guess the solution is to just not bring them to a gun fight. ;D Overall - GOOD I like it. I trust the non in game issues we've seen are due to the network and that Slant 6 is going to fix those issues. Although the in game issues that we've seen makes me wonder if those who participated in the closed Beta saw them and if so did Slant 6 listen.
