How many of us would've liked to have been Ron Pearlman in that bed? Naughty Peggy Bundy!!! Naughty. The show has potential. Lets see where it goes. Did anyone recognize the explosives guy they went to after their main guy went to the casino? Did anyone catch the 2 references to The Shield? The explosives guy was in Remember the Titans. I know the ATF agent is the Detective from The Shield, I don't think I noticed the other. Peggy Bundy, That show was AWESOME!!! That was him. He also played the ATF agent in Wanted if anyone ever watched that on TNT. It ran for one season and then was canceled. Killer fucking show you guys would have liked it. The ATF agent in the upcoming episode is the Detective from The Shield. The other reference??? When they are in the park talking to the guy about how the guns had been stolen and he needed more time..........the guy he's talking to is the leader of the One Niner's. The Sons of Anarchy are doing business with the One Niner's. He says in there too that he's always made sure not to do business with the Mexicans. Wonder if he was talking about the Biz Lats? There is nothing that compares to the feeling of getting on the bike and just riding. No destination. Just ride.

So are you saying then that 911 does not work on a cell phone when I'm out of my coverage area? Cause as far as I knew 911 worked even if your cell phone doesnt have service. And SNOPES.COM is the shit. I check all chain mails there first. -

Used to be I could go to bed between 4-5 am and get up at 8 with no problems. Nice nap. As I've gotten older (kids, work, kids, etc) I've realized that sleep is a precious commodity. I try to make sure that I get a minimum of 7 consecutive hours of sleep in a 24 hour period. If I'm lucky (kids decide not to wake us up when they get up) I'll get close to 9 hours of sleep. Sleep keeps me sharp while working. The more I get the better I feel. I used to have this same problem. To much thinking going on while I'm laying there trying to go to sleep. Not sure what your daily routine is, but I changed 2 things in mine and now I fall right to sleep. 1. I hit the gym minimum 5 days a week. Typically 1.5 - 2.5 hours a day. Weights and cardio. 2. I stopped eating a couple of hours before I go to bed. It worked for me.

Pitfall rocked. When I bought my first Nintendo I got the games Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, and Kung Fu(?). I played for a week straight and my thumbs were so freaking sore. AHHH the good old days.

I totally agree with this statement. And also with your sentiment that my example is a bit archaic. But the demographics still play a part. You do still get large population groups that rely one one source of info for whatever reason...language barrier, dedication to religion and seeing their pulpits as the be all end all gospel, no time to devote to individual research, apathy..etc etc... You name it, its there. Demographics absolutely play a part of it. The poor see and hear issues differently than the rich. Upper middle class citizens will see and hear issues differently than lower middle class. Natural citizens will see and hear issues differently than non-natural citizens. Disabled citizens will see and hear issues differently than non-disabled citizens. Elderly citizens will see and hear issues differently than younger citizens. The point here is that unless they're politically influenced most will go on about their days listening, reading, or watching what appeals to their senses. Their senses, for the most part, were developed and shaped by their demographics. The media access available for many of those listed above is what they hear from their neighbors. Believe it or not, not many people can afford the paper or a TV let alone a computer with internet service. Their money, what little they get, is used for survival. FYI - The Bible Belt refers to the south.

Especially if your only access to media is in an area that's predominately Republican or predominately Democrat. It's every citizens duty to be informed the best they can.

So do you believe the media are only reporting the "misinformation" they are given by the government and not adding their own political spin to it? Every media outlet in the world is just as political in their views and their stories as an individual citizen is. Turn on your local news, watch the way the news stories are pieced together and listen to the words and emphasis used during the story, then change to another local channel, watch their news and see if you get the exact same story. Why do you think such big deals are made about papers like the New York Times backing candidates?

I have. And I agree being able to shoot into a spawn, prior to anyone in the other spawn being able to move, is retarded. I hope developers realize this issue and fix it soon. But that issue doesn't make the weapon a NOOB WEAPON. It makes the person doing it an asshole for exploiting the issue instead of being HONORABLE and giving the opponent an opportunity to play. As long as the developers place spawns within range of certain weapons we'll have those who exploit it. Watching YOU TUBE takes no skill. You're right there. You still have to have the skill to determine correct angles for launching the 203 prior to pulling R2. Like the skill needed to lead a target with your sniper rifle or determining angle and strength of thrown grenades. Some weapons require more skill, this is a fact, but by allowing for differing levels of skill the game attempts to even the playing field, a bit anyway. The point to my post was that it appears, IMO, that in each series of Socom a weapon, typically one that allows for many kills without sneaking and peeking, is labeled a NOOB WEAPON. Confrontation will be no different.

Yes this is extremely important. I have Generals that quite frankly have kept 101st up and running fairly smooth. (as smooth as one can expect). Without Hog Wild and Bandit I would only have players and a website and complete chaos. So I am going to put this out there. Thanks guys. I agree. Delegating responsibility to those who are capable of handling it will help create a long future for your clan. If you're clan can self sustain when you take a vacation then you've got something good going.

Off the topic of claymores for a second. Isn't any weapon used by someone NEW to the game a NOOB WEAPON? Why do weapons like the 203 get labeled NOOB TUBE while grenades are fully acceptable. Not one person in this community can say that they have only been hit by well placed precision thrown grenades. Or how about that LUCKY head shot, by someone obviously less skilled than you, while rounding a corner that gets the yell of BULL SHIT!!!!!! across the mic upon death. If you look back across the sands of Socom you'll see that each new chapter in the series brought a new NOOB WEAPON. Remember the IW-80 (I-DUB)? NOOB WEAPON. People were ridiculed for carrying this weapon. But yet in Socom: CA the I-DUB was perfectly OK to carry. The new NOOB WEAPON became the F-90. Now its OK to carry in COD4. Although that might be because they changed the name to P-90. Who knows. 203's, depending on what clan you were playing with was the ultimate NOOB WEAPON, deemed the NOOB TUBE. Although I'd bet that less than half the people who call this a NOOB TUBE could accurately hit anything from a distance with it. Lets not forget the M60 and the SAW. Those were absolute NOOB WEAPONS across the board. If you needed a weapon with a shit load of extra rounds that you could spray and pray with, these were the ones you wanted. Don't ever let a machine gunner in the military hear you call that gun a NOOB WEAPON though. Of course setting yourself up with extra ammo packs and spraying and praying with an M4 is acceptable. At least this set up allows people to say that because its an M4 it must have been skill that allowed them to get that kill. Surely it wasn't them being a NOOB. Is there a committee that meets prior to the release of each game with a list of weapons that will allow a gamer to get a lot of kills without having "SKILL"? Of course I guess there'd have to be another group who gathers prior to that group so they can create the list detailing the level's of "SKILL", so that they can correctly label the NOOBs as they enter the game. My objective in game is to KILL YOU BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. Now on the flip side I do agree that to many 203's, RPG's, etc make for a messy room and takes a lot of the fun out of it. But I hardly think that makes them NOOB WEAPONS. BACK ON TOPIC Claymores, cool. So does this mean there won't be any mines in Confrontation?

Black Ops is gaining recruits as we gear up for Confrontation and we're having some creative blockage when it comes to new and inventive ways to haze our recruits. What are some of the ways you guys haze your recruits? And do you mind if Black Ops adopts some of these ways? Thanks guys.
