Make sure to read through the entire package before blame is placed on either side. We have both Democrats and Republicans who truly feel they serve us and know it's their responsibility to protect our long term interests. If they voted against it, there could be a very good reason for doing so.

Shut down NAFTA and overhaul our trade policies. Then move on to breaks for companies who reside within our borders.

Let's be clear here ... tax the RICH people yes, please do. lets get it back to how it was in the 80s, 95% of the tax money collected was from the top 5% people of this country. So while its obviously not fair to tax someone who makes minimum wage, the same rate as you would someone who makes 6 figures, collecting the majority of the tax dollars from the top 5% of US citizens is not the answer. Digging deeper into the pockets of the rich to pay for the poor is never the answer. Believe it or not a large portion of the rich actually do more to help the poor, privately, than our government does publicly. And holding grudges against those who make 6, 7, 8, or more figured incomes wont solve anything. Along with adjusting the tax structure, we need to adjust our spending, we need to adjust the allowances available to each tax bracket, we need to adjust all things that encourage the poor to stay poor (yes they exist and there are a lot of them), and we need to adjust the people we put in charge of making these adjustments.

Been wondering the same thing just haven't gotten around to looking into it. So here's what I found:

I couldn't stop laughing when I saw "Dutch's" (forgot his characters name) reaction to the gun fight. I think if the Doctor finds out that he's in town and puts two and two together, that there's going to be a dead ATF guy at some point in the show.

Some blame goes to the "FLIP THAT HOUSE" syndrome. Many people saw an opportunity, based on what they read and heard being reported by "EXPERTS", that would allow them to buy at this price with a great loan and then sell the house quickly for a huge profit. That plan didn't work out very well for many people. I remember seeing on the news a few years ago where people had bought into a new construction gated community for one price and before the houses were finished they were $125,000 - $150,000 upside down in the deal. They tried to sue over it. It was sad and funny at the same time. I even remember seeing 8 different people standing in the median, of a major road, one Saturday outside a gated community with big signs, balloons, streamers, etc trying to get people to come look at their house. One guy had a sign that said "FREE MERCEDES WITH PURCHASE OF HOUSE".

Why put out more vouchers for the Beta of a game that gets released in less than three weeks? Could this be a way of softening the blow when they push back the release date?

I posted a thread a while back regarding many American companies being bankrolled by foreign companies and how these foreign companies we're being bankrolled by groups that support our terrorist enemies. Wonder, if the trail was to be followed far enough, how many of the companies the United States has and will bail out, are linked somehow to terrorists groups that are out to destroy us? It would be a "behind the scenes" attack right? Terrorists attack us (cause us to do it to ourselves) financially, the US Govt steps in to bail out American companies with US Tax Dollars, and many of those companies are two, three, four times removed from a terrorist group but the money finds its way back to the terrorists groups all the same. We funded the people that are trying to kill us. If I see this show up as a movie I'll be expecting royalties.

This reads as though you're saying there are no Democrat "FAT CATS". That Republicans are solely to blame. LOL! That's so funny. Guilty conscience? You are reading more into that sentence than what is there. It means EXACTLY what it says ... THANK GOD the Dems are pushing to add legislation to the bail out that will keep the CEO's of the companies who are failing from retiring rich as hell. If the Republicans were pushing for this, it would have said, "THANK GOD the Repubs ... ." Now, how you got what you did from that is beyond me. I think something needs to be done, but I think that we can't just blindly run into handing over trilliions of dollars without some kind of thought put into it to protect the taxpayers and somehow (no matter how insignificant it may seem), keep the greedy people who managed their companies (and the world, in reality) into this crap from walking (or private jetting) away to some private island to spend the rest of their life in luxury while the rest of America suffers. No guilty conscience here. I just read to much into it. It started with poitics so I was reading it with politics in mind and automatically thought you were referring to the republicans. I agree with you. There need's to be protection in place to guard the US Citizens against the greedy business owners (and their greedy congressional board members). To bad something like this doesn't bring both sides to the table in full 100% support huh? Of course when it means digging into their pockets, then that's out of the question.

This reads as though you're saying there are no Democrat "FAT CATS". That Republicans are solely to blame. I don't agree with you on this. I'm neither Democrat or Republican. I'm an American who is concerned about "FAT CATS", both Democrat and Republican, running our country and making decisions that affect our lives and the lives of our future generations. We, the citizens of the United States of America, are the most powerful voice in the world. But yet we sit back and allow these things to happen. We voted to put these "LEADERS" in. We sure as hell can vote to take these "LEADERS" out. VOTE being the key word. They pass laws that give them power. Power to do things we all know are wrong. Why do we just sit around talking about how wrong it is? Why don't we do something about it? Back out to the main forum page for UF. Look at how many posts are put up here everyday. Think about what we could get started by posting just as much on the web sites of our congressmen. Or sending emails everyday, the same email everyday, letting our congressmen know what it is we want and do not want. Think of us, the American citizens, as the "BOSS" and the politicians as the "EMPLOYEE". We are supposed to check on them from time to time. When was the last time, other than your local news, that you checked in on the work you're "EMPLOYEE" has been doing? America is the greatest country in the world because of US. The VOICE.

The internet had been around for a couple of decades before CERN became involved. I just found some more interesting information about this. Looks like they'll "need" to go bigger over time.

And thats the answer. I don't know his characters name on SoA so I referred to him as Dutch.

I agree Puddy. Why cant they just be content with not knowing how the universe was created? And what are they going to do once they know? The next logical step would be..................to try and create, maintain, and evolve a universe. Maybe a Black Hole? Maybe a parallel dimension? Every action has a reaction. If they find the beginning they'll find the end.

This runs for 17 miles' date=' under the Alps in areas, a crater would be a gross understatement. While I agree that without pushing the limits we'd still be in the stone age, pushing the creation of the universe may be more than we're ready for. They're hoping to find the answers to a lot of questions. One of those questions is whether or not extra dimensions exist and if they can be detected. This is where we should start hearing the theme song for the Twilight Show start playing. I worry sometimes that we're to smart for own good. For those who are interested Angels and Demons is due for release May 15, 2009.

For those of you who have read the book Angels and Demons you know about this machine. GENEVA (Sept. 20) - A technical glitch has forced scientists to shut down the huge particle-smashing machine built to simulate the conditions of the "Big Bang " for at least two months, they said on Saturday. The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) said there had been a major helium leak on Friday into the tunnel housing the biggest and most complex machine ever made. Just 10 days ago, scientists had celebrated the successful start of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) under the Swiss-French border, hoping it would revamp modern physics and unlock secrets about the universe and its origins. In order to fix the problem, the machine will have to be warmed up from its operating temperature of minus 271.3 degrees Celsius (minus 456.3 degrees Fahrenheit), spokesman James Gillies said. "Because the LHC is a superconducting machine that works at very low temperatures, in order to get in and fix it we've got to warm it up, then we go and fix it, and then we cool it down again, and that's a process that's likely to take two months," he said. The organization said strict safety regulations had ensured there was no risk to people from the malfunction. The project has had to work hard to dismiss suggestions by some critics that the experiment could create tiny black holes of intense gravity that could suck in the whole planet. Since the machine started up earlier this month, scientists have successfully sent particle beams around the accelerator. The next step will be to smash the beams into each other to trigger tiny collisions at nearly the speed of light. This will be an attempt to recreate on a miniature scale the heat and energy of the Big Bang , the explosion generally believed by cosmologists to be at the origin of our expanding universe. CERN said it thought the leak was prompted by a faulty electrical connection between two magnets, which probably melted at high current, leading to mechanical failure. When the LHC starts up at full speed, it will be able to engineer 600 million collisions every second between protons traveling around its 27-km (17-mile) underground chamber at 99.99 percent of the speed of light. CERN officials said minor glitches were to be expected, given the intricacy of the $9 billion machine. "It's a very complicated machine, we've always known that there's the possibility of this sort of incident in the start-up phase and if it happens, then it's a two-month off time," said Gillies.

Alright I just got done watching it. **Side Note** - I love DVR. I cant imagine life without a DVR now. Who in their right mind would want to watch live TV with commercials and shit. ;D So I liked the season premiere (Smallville too). And going from one end of the spectrum to the other is a hell of a twist. But as soon as he said who he was, I saw the season finale. Cane and Able.

Yeah that was unbelievable. For one why did the father back out? I watched then thought of my own little girl. If that ever happen to her that guy better hope that, that's all I do is cut off his balls. > Its the moment of truth. All say they'd do it but most really couldn't. And that's nothing to be ashamed of either. He just realized at that moment that it wasn't in him. Looked like Clay knew it before hand too. I'm digging the show more and more. It's going to get interesting now that Dutch has shown up. That little sub-plot for him is going to be real interesting to see unfold. That shit they did to Juice was hilarious. I cringed when he tried to take the sign off and it was stapled to his chest. That'll teach him. I liked at the end, when Jax is reading his dads story, the dad says that the key is the balance between Right and Might.

Congratulations to all of you. Chili though? How does that happen? ;D

It was good playing with you guys tonight. That load into the second game was seriously long though.
