Not heard anything else about it. The last I heard was that the commonwealth's attorney wanted to present it to the Grand Jury on Sept 25th but wanted to retrieve more evidence and witness statements. Maybe they're still hearing evidence. I hope they follow through and hit him with everything they've got. I just got done reading an article about how the Atlanta chapter of the NAACP has urged the NFL to let him play again. This quote is from a Washington Post article: I was on the fence with them until that last sentence. Hours of enjoyment? Are they missing the big picture here??

Vick's Prison Sentence May Be Shortened Posted Jan 5th 2008 5:15PM by JJ Cooper Filed under: Falcons, Atlanta, NFL Police Blotter, Featured Stories Michael Vick might be back sooner than we think. Humane Society and PETA picketers better keep those posters ready, as there's a chance Michael Vick could be back on the field for the 2009 season. Yahoo! Sports is reporting that the Falcons quarterback could end up serving as few as 12 months of his 23 month sentence thanks to his entry into a drug rehab program in prison. By connecting the dots, the story speculates that Vick could be back in the NFL for the 2009 season, as he would likely wrap up his sentence early next year. Apparently the drug treatment program, which is only in place at the Leavenworth, Kan., federal penitentiary, allows inmates to wipe off up to a year of their sentence if they complete the drug treatment program. Vick has tested positive for marijuana, which ended up likely adding time to his prison sentence. But now that same drug test might end up helping him cut time from his current sentence. Vick has to be in the program for a year, which apparently hasn't begun, so he's likely looking at a February or March 2009 release. Now, there are several other obstacles to Vick getting back onto an NFL field. Commissioner Roger Goodell will have to end his indefinite suspension, he'll likely have to pass frequent drug tests, and probably most importantly, he'll have to find a team willing to have a dog killer on their roster, with all the bad publicity that will come with it. But getting his prison sentence over six months or more before the 2009 season does make it much more likely that Vick will end up getting back onto the field.

So I have to admit that I dont know what a Registry is or why I would need it cleaned. I know of and completely understand the others listed above but could someone please fill me in on the whole Registry thing.

Wish him luck. Not sure his stats, or history in general, are on his side though. To many times we see a college player have a handful of good games and someone pushes the idea of going high in the draft. We'll see in April. IMO he should have come back for his senior year and developed his skills more. To late now though. Any word on if his brother will try and go pro as well?

Oh and IMO I like sigs with crisp clean borders that are not crowded inside. Clean, crisp, simple, and to the point.............thats what I like. If anyone cared to know that. ;D

Some of us dont have the skills needed to create mind blowing sigs like some of you do. And others of us dont have the patience to learn that craft either. So please dont hate us cause we have big old sigs. :-[ :'( I will say I have seen some serious talent when it comes to sigs and graphics since I joined the Socom world 4 years ago. There are quite a few of you who have some serious talent. I hope you use it for good and not evil.

Yeah but Chili most of these teams have 3-4 weeks between the end of their "regular season" and any bowl games they may have been invited to. They could run the playoffs during that time and still play the National Championship game during the first week of January. As far as their break between semesters goes; When you play team sports there is no break. You hit the gym duirng the offseason and you play during the breaks.

This article makes some very valid points. I think we can all agree that a playoff system would be better? I for one would like to see the champions of each conference play in system matching what the NCAA uses for basketball. North, South, East, and West.

I cant make it past begginer. My fingers dont move that fast on the guitar and I cant seem to get the hang of the drums. I'm not very musicly inclined. I prefer to kill things than make music. The wife and kids enjoy it though. I enjoy the songs though. They bring back youthful memories.

I think Illinios could have beat USC. If we dont turn the ball over like we did and if our O-Line picks up their blocks better. It wasnt hard to see by the end of the first qurater that USC was running defensive schemes that was splitting our O-line in two one play and then pinching them together the next play. It looked like the same schemes almost every play. If it wasnt their ends making it up field with no one touching them it was their linebackers running straight up the middle with no one touching them. We had the offense to beat them. Although the option was scaring me a bit last night. I hope Zuck works in some more passing plays next year. But anyway, we had the offense to beat USC. Our defense looked unfreaking believable last night. USC's running back is a stud theres no doubt about that but we put some serious pressure on USC last night. Our defense is what kept the game from being more of a blowout. I would have liked to have seen McGee come in just to see what he could have done. He's a damn good quarterback as well. We may have seen some more passing plays than we did. Juice was accurate when he did throw, and our guys wouldnt fumble, but it seemed like the o-coordinator wasnt confident enough to throw it more. Overall I think if we would have made those adjustments in game the game would have been much closer. Not to take anything away from USC they played a hell of a game too. I believe we'll see Illinois in a BCS bowl game next year as well and I believe they'll win the Big 10 title outright as well. And to get back on point with the original topic: Michigan beating Florida. HELL YEAH!!!!! I'm a Fighting Illini first but a Big 10 boy second and I have some friends down here in the Sunshine State that are huge Gator fans and all I've heard for the past month, when it was rumored that Illinois and Florida might play, was that the Big 10 couldnt hang with the SEC. BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH I believe they can and we'll show it again on Jan. 7th against LSU when Ohio State brings home the National Championship.

Must be nice. I had thought that it might be .png vs .gif but I can see Pathogen's sig just fine but see a white background on the sigs of Solja and SID and all three are .png. So maybe its the way they were created?

It is what it is fellas. I agree it would have been cool to play a Christmas map but I would much rather they put in permanent clan and lobby options like SID suggested. Then we could play the themed maps. And, how freaking funny would it have been to see 18 Santas with MP5's and RPG's running around battling each other.
