  1. I wanna thank the [cKs] guys and Blackcloud for coming and joining us for some fun. Depending on how long the PSN stays down, hopefully we can get a larger turn out next time. Thanks again to [cKs] and Blackcloud. You guys made the evening very enjoyable.
  2. Forgot to mention the room will contain Maps from the Map Packs, so you'll need to download them from the Socom store. They're free so you just need a Zip/Thumb Drive. If you want to communicate you'll need a Logitech USB 2.0 Headset.
  3. Out of bordom and looking for some fun with the PSN being down. Anyone with a PS2 or backward compatible PS3 and a copy of Socom: Combined Assault. Sinners and Saints are going to have a room up in US East Ranked @ 830est Tonight Anyone from the Urgent Fury community is welcome to join. I'm not sure what kind of a turn out we might have, so the room will be set for 8v8. If we get enough people will bump in up to a 16v16. To prevent cheaters etc. we'll have the room password protected. Server: US East Ranked Room Name: SiNNeRS+SaINtS Password: natas
  4. Just FYI, if your unsure on how to tell what gun you are picking up (since it only shows you an image of the gun), hit your L2 button after you've picked up a weapon and it will show you the name of the gun in the top of your screen. As far as any other ideas on locations in level 5 for you to find the C9MM, just keep picking up weapons and you'll eventually find one.

Looks like there are a couple of sites that claim the PSN will be up by Wednesday Good news for all PlayStation 3 gamers who do not like to fail and problem-free onlinegaming without it! Neil Martin, his sign security database engineer, our colleagues from NowGamer reveal that the problems of the PlayStation Network probably Wednesday completely resolved are coming up with & you can log off again without problems that could Wednesday. Sämtliche Masken und Funktionen werden wie vorher sein, lediglich der Log-In Bereich ins PSN wird anders sein, so Martin . All screens and functions are to be like before, only the Log In PSN will be different-in area, Martin said. "The only change the consumer may see is to the way we log in to PSN." Being remodeled, we feverishly the server code and create new authentication keys for admin areas. Zudem werden aktuell die geleakten Entwickler-Root-Keys geändert, die den Zugriff auf die Software im PSN möglich gemacht haben. Keys are also currently on the leaked developer root changed to the PSN in the software have made possible the access. "The main thing Sony will be doing now is taking the original server code and they will be rebuilding it using new login keys for their admin side" "We will probably take the chance to change the root key developers that was recently leaked, Which telll Particular the PSN that a piece of software is licensed and allowed to use the PlayStation Network. " In the worst case each receives a software patch if the PSN is back online final to prevent piracy and Sun at high-level security to keep it. Weiterhin betonte Martin , dass der Vertrauensverlust zweitrangig im Vergleich zu den finanziellen Verlusten durch Piraterie sei. Further, Martin said that the loss of confidence in comparison to the financial losses due to piracy is secondary. "This could mean all previous software will require a patch when it comes back online" "But inconvenience like that will be secondary to the loss of revenue via piracy and loss of security if they do not change it." Probably, also the automatic log-painted in, since this hack programs the way significantly easier. "Automated logins may be disabled, Which is what a lot of the Distributed Denial of Service attack programs use to strain the server." 6. The only issue I see, is for users who purchased a Playstation Plus membership. Reguardless, of if someone purchased the 1 year or 3 month subscription. I can see PSN users wanting to be compensated for any time on their subscription. If the PSN is down for a week I don't see a big issue, but if it ends up taking a month to resolve the issue I can fully understand people wanting Sony to atleast extend their time to compensate.

Socom 4: Intel and Tarocco Locations First Strike Intel #1: After you destroy the tanks with airstrikes, wait for your teammate to destroy the truck with C4, then proceed down the highway. After you have cleared the next group of enemies, you will come to an outside cafe. This is before you go down the stairs to the final area. The Intel is on one of the tables. Tarocco: After picking up the Intel, you will see two sets of stairs heading down to the next road. Head down the stairs to the left, then look to your left and you will see one shop without a cage pulled over the window. Look inside the destroyed window for the Tarocco. Intel #2: After grabbing the Tarocco, head to the opposite side of the street. On this side of the street look for a small eating area with a bunch of tables. This Intel is on the table with the open umbrella. Intel #3: Head down the road and use the airstrike to destroy the Artillery. Now head over to the left side of the street and head down the road until you are almost even with the Artillery and you will find some more outside tables. The last Intel is waiting for you there. Rendezvous Intel #1: When securing the area around 45 and Chung, there will be a lonely transport truck in the middle of the road. Next to the truck is an oven with the first Intel on top. Intel #2: After the tutorial on how to control your teams in setting up an ambush, proceed down the hill to a large enemy camp. At the first building on the left side is a crate with a bunch of guns and a supply crate. Next to these is the second Intel. Intel #3: From the second Intel, head down the main road and you will see a pickup truck next to a phone pole on the left side of the road. From this pickup, look in the same direction as the truck is pointing and you will see a large open house on a back road. Head into this house for the last Intel on a table. Tarocco: After destroying the AA gun, head down the path on the right side of the building the AA gun is located towards the water. Head between the two houses and out onto the pier to find the Tarocco on the left side on some crates. White Tiger Intel #1: The first Intel is located on the main path, in the building where you store your first suppressed kill. Intel #2: Once you get to the Shell Casing tossing tutorial, you will see two guards pacing back and forth in front of a building. You must either distract them or shoot them. If you do shoot them, you need to wait until they aren't in direct line of site to take out the first. You can then wait for the second to come over to by there and shoot him. The Intel is in this building on crate. Tarocco: After climbing the crates to view the ship and get an overview of the area, you will be prompted to head to the right. Jump down and head to the right hugging the fence. Once you get over to the line of trucks, look to your left and you will see a shipping crate and you will see a small crate next to it with the bright orange Tarocco on top. Sneak over and grab it. Intel #3: Once you get to the Control Shack on the other side of the boat, instead of going inside, turn right and head over to the crates and you will find the Final Intel for the level. Leviathan Intel #1: From the start, head down the hill and through the fence. Look to your right and you will see a building. The Intel is on a crate next to the building. Intel #2: After you move around the left side of the ship, you will come to a large open building. Head through the building and instead of going to the right and up the ramp to the ship, turn left and you will find this Intel on some crates in the corner. Tarocco: AFTER destroying the ship's cannon, head back down the ramp towards Intel #2. Head back through the large building and hug the right wall. You will see two green and white buildings on the right side. Head to the left side of the 2nd green and white building to find the Tarocco on a drum. Intel #3: After destroying BOTH targets on the ship, head down the ramp towards the extraction. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right and move this direction unstil you come to the supply crate and some guns. The Intel is on one of the crates. Benefaction Intel #1: After crossing the bridge, follow the main road to the enemies camp. Before heading up the hill look in the 2nd tent to the right of the road to find the Intel on a table. Tarocco: After taking out the opposition at the beach, from the top of the hill, head to the right side down the dirt path to the building up on the hill on the right that overlooks the beach. The Tarocco will be on the railing of the large window. Intel #2: From the Tarocco, head down to the camps below you. In the camp that started with a canopy above it, until after your psychotic airstriking of anything moving on the beach, look on the crates to find the second Intel. Intel #3: From Intel #2, head accross the main road to the destroyed vehicles and find another camp that had a canopy, or still does depending on your Rage level. Look on the crates inside for the final Intel. Fluid Dynamics Intel #1: Head through the main archway into the first area. When the road turns to the right, look on top of the camo crates for first Intel. Intel #2: Once you get into the Dam Control Building, before heading up the stairs, look on top of a crate in front of the small controll room in the back for the second Intel. Tarocco: Head up the stairs in the Dam Control after using the Control Panel to open the floodgates. When you exit the Dam Control Building, immediately head to your right and head behind the building to find the Tarocco sitting on a drum. Intel #3: Inside the shutoff Control Room on the main path of the story, you will find the final Intel on the Control panel. Safehouse Intel #1: Follow the officer to the right to the open area with the gaurds. Proceed around the outer left side of the camp, until the officer heads down the road. Instead of following him down the road, head accross the road to the building. Now turn right and follow the wall of the building until you come to the stairs. Head to the roof to find some weapons, including the SASR , and the first Intel. Intel #2: Follow the main path waypoints to Razad's Car and place the bug. Now instead of heading towards the extraction, head down the road in the opposite direction to the building on the left side. Head up the stairs and head into the small room in the building to find the Intel. Intel #3: Head back to Razads car, and at the back bumper turn left and head across the street and head between the buildings to the back alley. at the very back of the alley look for a refridgerator on its side with the Intel on it. Tarocco: From the last Intel, turn right and head down the road and at the last building on the right before the clearing you will see some stairs. Head up the stairs to find the Tarocco on a small table with a lamp next to another SASR Means to an End Intel #1: In the exact same room as Intel #2 on the previous level. Intel #2: After destroying the Armored Vehicle, you will have to head through the open wall gate to find Razad. BEFORE heading through the gate, turn to your left and head into the area with Razad's car to find the Intel on a Trash Dumpster. Intel #3: Inside Razad's Palace, head to the 2nd floor and look on the middle workstation on the main path for the Intel. Tarocco: After the encounter with Razad, this will be left on his desk. Onslaught Intel #1: At the large camp, as you are head down the hill on the road, turn right and you will see a large raised house. Go behind the house to find this hanging on the Pigeon Coop in the back. Intel #2: At the large camp, head towards the bridge and before heading over the bridge, turn right to find the first Intel on a stack of 2x4s. Intel #3: At the docks, head down the docks, but stay on the left side. You will pass a building with a ramp that leads up to the roof when the path splits. Continue down the left side until you get to the next set of buildings. Look inside the 2nd doorway to find the Intel on a barrel. Tarocco: After crossing the bridge and meeting with the two VIPs, go up the stairs an make a right. Climb the Crates and then the roof. It will be on a crate. Revelation Intel #1: Head into the First Main Building and turn left. There will be an enemy using a laptop by himself. Stealth Kill him and collect the Intel on the work station. Intel #2: After placing the bug on the Helicopter, head back towards the stairs but instead of going back down, head up the stairs to wear the gards were previously located before the helicopter took off. Once up in the control area, turn right and look for a small crate sitting next to a large crate on the left side for the Intel. Tarocco: Now head back down the stairs to where the helicopter was and head all the way to the end of the upper level. Turn right and head through the opening to what was a room at one point. Look on the desk on right side for the Tarocco. Intel #3: For the final Intel, when you come to the second camp, follow the waypoint path around the camp to the left side until you can get inside the building. Once inside the building look on the left side in a nook and its sitting on a desk. Turning Point Intel #1: Inside the first building, stay downstairs and head into the back of the building to find the Intel on some crates on the left. Intel #2: When you come to the clearing with the second building, head down the road to find an entrance to the building on the left side. Inside immediately turn right into the small room to find the Intel on a large pile of crates in the center of the room. Intel #3: When you are heading to the 2nd launcher, stay on the right side before you get to the building and you will see a path and some stairs that lead up to another building up on the hill. In this building head to the 2nd story to find the last Intel. Tarocco: This is on a desk in the middle of the room by Intel #3 Uninvited Guest Intel #1: In the first camp, this is located by the Rocket launcher on a camo covered crate. Unfortunately this is also out in the direct light. Wait for the guard by the rockets to move away, then toss a bullet casing to distract the guard who is watching the crates and then grab your Intel and move out quickly. Intel #2: In the camp where you C4 the tanks and shoot the snipers, there is a lonely green tent on the opposite wall. This tent is located directly across from the first tank. That's our destination. BEFORE going to that tent, look to the left of the tank and you will see a very irritating turret. Sneak behind the turret and you can deactivate it. Now before heading over to the tent, move back into the shadows and wait. A soldier will meander over to turn it back on, clever aren't they. Wait for him to get behind the turret, then shoot him in the head and nobody will even notice. Now head around the camp to the tent to collect the Intel from inside. Tarocco: This is on a desk in the room by Intel #2 Intel #3: The final Intel is above the garage that holds the final tank. Head up the stairs to the left of the building, then toss a shell casing to distract the two guards up top. Now sneak into the building, quickly grab the Intel and head back down the stairs before they stop checking out the sound. Countdown Intel #1: At the second set of ruins on the left side, at the base of the statue. Intel #2: At the top of the hill in the village with the turrets. It's on the right side of the road on a stack of plywood. Intel #3: In the large building, you will come to a control room with several computers and a large ambush of enemies. The last Intel is on a desk in this room. Tarocco: After leaving the large building, you will come to a very long staircase. At the top turn right and this leads to another staircase on the left. BEFORE heading up these stairs, turn right to find the Tarocco on the open room on the rock wall. Animus Intel #1: Head down the main road following the main path until you come to a small room with several guns in it. The Intel is in this room. If you come to the ramps leading up, you have gone too far. Intel #2: After picking up the 1st Intel, head up the ramps to the upper area. The second Intel is on a table in this area. Intel #3: After picking up the 2nd Intel, head across the bridge and down the stairs. You'll enter a parking garage. On the next to last level, as you come up the ramp, eliminate the enemies and walk past the cars. The intel is laying on the wall. Tarocco:

  10. Good luck U Damn we're losing alot of good teams........wtf??
  11. Good luck VR. Tool and the rest of VR will be missed.
  12. Why are companys handing over great titles to Slant Six? It's apparent they can't do them any justice.
  13. As a fellow clan leader here at UF, I've been following everything as it has unfolded over the weekend. I haven't spoken simply because my team currently isn't involved in any tournaments. I've simply been monitoring the events because rulings on tournament play indirectly could effect my team in a future tournament. I've been apart of this community for a good while now and for the most part I'm pretty quiet around here. Alot of the events that have taken place in the past few days have been like a whirlwind, spinning around and sucking up everyone and everthing into the confusion. I've seen a few teams drop out of the tournament over the weekend. Their decision to do so was their's to make and we should all respect that and keep our thoughts and opinions on that matter to ourselves. The ruling on AIEL was made by the UF staff and whether you agree or disagree it's been made. Every team here has the same choice. You can either choose to remain here and participate in the tournaments or you can choose not too, the choice is yours. We as clan leaders make the choices based on what is best for our teams and the integrity of our team morals. Every team here is here because we found that UF upheld the same integrity and morals we hold for our teams. So, why is it that everytime something of this nature occurs, there are some that don't exemplify those standards? Take "Respect" for example. Over the past few days I've seen people post responces to others in a "Disrespectful" manor. We're all intitled to our opinions, but we can get our points across without disrespecting others. My only thought when I see things of this nature is that someones true colors are bleeding through and that some of us here that claim to hold these same "values" don't hold them in as high reguards as others. Think before you speak, and treat others as you want to be treated. My point is the Integrity and the Values of UF and our teams need to be the first and foremost in reguards to handling any situation that may arise. Now, in reguards to recent events involving Tool. I can understand with VR withdrawing from UF entirely the decision to remove him from the "Clan Leader" section as it is for Clan leaders participating (active or inactive) here at UF. As far as him being removed as Staff. Well, that brings me back to our Values and Standards. Personally, I feel he should have been contacted and at least a reason for his dismissal. I feel he deserves the respect of that. Some of you may agree with me and others may not, that's fine.
  14. Updated March 3, 2011: Killzone 3 hit stores last week (congratulations Guerrilla Games!) and included along with it were vouchers for the upcoming SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs Multiplayer Beta. Though the beta isn’t available yet, we’ve put together this handy little FAQ to answer some of the questions you may have. Q: When does the SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs beta period begin? A: We will announce the beta starting dates on Friday, March 4 at 9am Pacific Time (in addition to details and media from our 4th and previously-secret game mode, Bomb Squad) Q: Does that mean the SOCOM 4 beta begins when you officially announce its start date? A: No. The time frame we've giving in the question above is just for when you can expect to hear about the start date, it's not the beginning of the beta itself. The dates listed in Friday's announcement will tell you exactly when the beta period actually begins. Q: Will there be other ways to access the SOCOM 4 beta outside of purchasing Killzone 3 in North America or being a member of PlayStation Plus in Europe? A: Absolutely Yes. We'll go into details about it in this week's announcement. Q: What will be included in the SOCOM 4 beta? A: As much as we’d love to tell you now, we’ll be releasing this info along with the other information next week as well. That’s all for now. Keep your eyes on SOCOM.com for more information about SOCOM 4 later this week. -------------------- Jeremy Dunham Sr. Community Manager, Zipper Interactive -------------------- Just to update everyone
