Those aren't the only two options Bandit. 360 online gaming is not like ps at all. Not one little bit. The only laggers are the cheaters and it's obvious. Good connections play with awful connections all the time with minimal discrepancies. Which means the real options is this: I hope that more and more ps3 only gamers start realizing this is the best option to fix all the shitty online games for this system. 5-10 bucks a month is not too much money for better quality. If you can't afford that much a month, then maybe you shouldn't have a $500 gaming machine. Out of all the complaints you hear from X-boxers and eX-boxers, connection issues and pay to play aren't one of them.

I was thinking the same thing because of the "upcoming" stories blurb after the laptop. And at one point they said the next version would be 4 ounces lighter due to no screen or wheel.

Are you serious? ??? I do understand it may hinder warring tonight. However, we KNOW that the servers we play on cannot handle load. We know this. Most of this lag, and wierd shit, is the exact same thing that happened at release. And after the first patch. I personally don't think it's a reason to say they've ruined the game.

You are right on there. The lag isn't that bad, there are just some very strange things happening. Like what shane said, I apparently have no clan anymore. I'm tagless. Any takers? ;D Plus the features that are working that they did add, are fooooking cooool. Granted they should have been there since release, but fuck i looove them. Sorting the servers alphabetically? Weeeee. Diving to prone? SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK. They missed some minor things, but the game itself seems to be smoother.

Yes. The funny thing is all the crybabies on the socom forums that wanted it back are now super pissed and say it's worthless. And it alledgedly screws up whatever custom control set-up you had. And it sounds like you can't turn the fucking thing off. :D

Confirmed. Abigale put up a post on the Socom boards. Robo, I haven't had a chance to play yet, but from what I'm reading, you have to hold down the d-pad for NV to turn on.

What a load of shit. The point that everyone seems to skirt around is the PARENTS are the ones responsible for this. My son graduated HS last year. He grew up in the gaming boom. Did he want to sit around and play all day? I'm sure he did. Did I let him? Hell no!! He's a well adjusted 18 year old. He doesn't sit around gaming all day long. That silly bitch anchor said, "babysitter in a box". Most parents do use games exactly for that. Same as our parents might have used the tv in the same way. Imo, these kind of ignorant, pc pushing, shitheads will never change their views. It will always be gamers and game makers fault. Or someone else's. As long as they don't have to take responsibility, it's all gravy for them. Gotta love Fox News. -
I notice a huge difference between BR and SD. That being said, I only buy big special effects movies on BR. Transformers, Dark Knight, things like that. I don't see the point in buying stepbrothers and the like on BR. Transformers is a great example. Watch it on both formats and there is a HUGE difference.
