  1. Amen brothers!!! Doors open at 9 am.
  2. Thats true, but when my WIFE calls out what they are going to do based on the formation, he needs to re-think it. Granted she knows quite a bit after being with me for so long, but c'mon. Didn't you see the way the Panthers would stack up the line, when SD lined up? At least throw as much as you run from that shit.
  3. Since I am an avid shooter, I know what the lines mean. And they WORK!! I am in love with this franchise all over again. All the haters can keep on hating, this game is the shit!!! While they are hating, I'll be killing people and birds at will. ;D
  4. I'm curious what Puddy has in mind here. With all the connection problem and load times, this could be difficult. I know they say it will be fixed by the weekend, but we all know how Socom promises are.
  5. Who's running the clock in San Diego? I mean that was the longest two seconds I've ever seen! ON that note, Norv needs to lose his job. Can you telegraph the run any more than those crap formations he is using? As a raider fan, I;m glad they have a shit head coach. But you gotta feel for those players getting screwed by horrible coaching.
  6. yea sorry my post are "lacking" but hey it me ... ive been on here awhile now most people know who i am.... and alot of the newbies dont ...ohh well... i got your back Ghost! Word!! The noobs are clueless about most things anyways.
  7. I played around with the scopes alot. Remember when they said there would be a drawback to running? Well, the drawback is yer recticle will not settle down for awhile. If you don't run at all and lay down, it settles down fairly quick. If you run at all, it takes alot longer. Same thing with standing up, it will never settle down. Crouching it almost completely stops, but not quite. I like the handicap for running, I think it works well. I haven't had a problem with the bullet not going where the recticle is, unless I'd been running. As far as what VET said, I too did have a problem with the yellow, can't fire, thing not being accurate. It shows you have a clear shot, then the bullets hit the wall.
  8. Maybe if he got off the bitching about socom bandwagon and gave the game a legit try, he'd be unbored.
  9. Are all the political banners necessary? It would be nice to have at least one place you DIDN'T see them. Who you vote for is your business, I don't need to see it everytime you post something.
  10. If CA was 1 step away from the classic style of SOCOM. The Confrontation is going to be 4 steps away in the wrong direction. The game plays more like CoD than any SOCOM game I ever played. There's too much going on, birds, the dust from running, have to push a extra button to run. If the way the game played kept pace with the graphics one could hardly complain. But game play suffers. You can see further than you can hit with your gun when using a M4 or STG. If you turn when running the images on the screen will blur. And that six axis thing is the worst. The proximety mic works, even when I can't talk out to my own teamates. There's entirely too much stuff to hide behind too. After a couple of days, my first impression, they tried to do too much and lost sight of what made SOCOM great. Yellow--Socom has ALWAYS been like that. I still have a cheat sheet around that had ranges for different guns written all over it. Red--I like that the yhandicap you for running. I didn't even like the fact they put it in. At least it works like crap. ;D Orange--I love all the cover. Fucking snipers have to work now!!
  11. Oh thats right.. you guys are talking about the PS3 version. I could see Socom being the only game used for a PS3 tourney, but i could also see CoD4 being the game for 360. Lol I just played the crap box version yesterday besides lower graphics quality, the so called skilled xbox live gamers bored me to death. "Oh yea its ps3 version" Yea even though the game sucks no matter what its on ill take the ps3 version any time. Can someone translate that for me? I thought I had it, but it twists me up at the end.
  12. Man that sucks. I like Tom. Too bad, but yeah the Pats are sunk! Well at least they are if Cassell is thier starter now. I wouldn't be surprised to see them sign a Vet QB in the next few days.
  13. Congrats fellas. Good luck to all. I'm sure there will be some interesting days ahead for you all. My money would be on the guy from Wyoming and his crew. Gotta give it up for the 307.
  14. A few things I wanted to point out after a few days tweeking out on this game. Hit detection- Seems alot better then most. The armor makes a huge difference, but it should. Character movement--I played a bit of S2 yesterday to see, and it seems to be fairly close. I think alot of people think it's too slow because of games like COD. Compared to Socom, this game is marginally slower at best. I like the new speed. Feels more deliberate. If you take light armor, it is every bit as fast as it used to be(socom 2).
  15. Lets hear the details puddy. YOu know I'm down for socom anything. ;D
  16. Honestly Chili, it looks like they dropped the ball. I haven't been able to find a way around it yet. Alot of phone calls, texts, and mesages to get our guys together. Although Undertow's little idea has helped some tonight. ;D
  17. Not mercs/commandos. You just picked what country yer repping. German, USA, French, etc...
  18. That's what I was thinking too Johnson. Right now for clan options all you have is German or USA. SO maybe there are others for the other Clan pre-sets. I know 100% that SFCR wasn't there before I got clan tags.
  19. Also a submachine gun for the terrorists I don't remember seeing. Bizon 2
  20. I got a new rifle this afternoon too, SFCR-LW Assault Rifle .Seems to me I got it after I started the clan stuff. Maybe it's just a clan only rifle. You only get it by being in a clan? I'm playing right now, so someone else will have to go research it.
  21. My first kill was [RVN] TooL_Minion. Followed by [CBF]BGCntry. ;D ;D
  22. Chili, go buy yer ps3. The only flaws I've seen so far are small server problems that can prolyl be assciated to the beta. This game is all it's cracked up to be. Period. ;D
  23. Man, this is friggin cool!! I loved the first one. The second is pretty good, but one is so much better. I'm looking forward to how this develops. The original cast, are you kidding me? Sho, Nuff!!!! Columbia Scaring Up Ghostbusters Revival Thursday September 4 4:32 PM ET Los Angeles (E! Online) - No need to believe in UFOs, astral projections, mental telepathy, ESP, clairvoyance, spirit photography, telekinetic movement, full trance mediums, the Loch Ness monster and the theory of Atlantis. Just believe that the allure of nostalgia and a monster paycheck is strong enough to get Bill Murray to strap on that positron collider again. Variety reports that Columbia Pictures is gearing up to bring another Ghostbusters film to the big screen, ideally featuring all four main characters from the 1984 blockbuster and its 1989 sequel—Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson. ADVERTISEMENT Both '80s-era films were cowritten by Aykroyd and Ramis and directed by Ivan Reitman. Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, both executive producers on The Office, have been tapped to pen the new installment—after which, Columbia will approach its would-be leading men. Eisenberg and Stupnitsky recently collaborated on the Ramis-directed comedy Year One. Despite a handful of small parts over the years in comedies such as Knocked Up and As Good as It Gets, Ramis—who also helmed three episodes of The Office last year—has had more of a career behind the camera since his Egon Spengler days. While the project remains officially unconfirmed, the general consensus is that getting Murray to suit up after all these years will be the hard part—although the Oscar-nominated thesp deigned to contribute his Dr. Peter Venkman voice for the new Ghostbusters: The Video Game. After helping to keep the dream alive for the past two decades, Aykroyd told a radio station last year that the idea of another Ghostbusters sequel was still alive and kicking. But... "It will not happen as a live-action , 'cause Billy [Murray] will not come on, in the live-action stage anymore for it," the veteran character actor said. "But he will voice his part, and we are looking to do it as a CGI animated project." But who knows what will happen if the script stacks up? Ghostbusters II didn't exactly recapture the magic of the original, which grossed $229.2 million (at '80s prices) at the box office, but it still brought in $112.5 million and millions more from home video sales. Besides, even the lamest sequels are usually good for lines like, "Only a Carpathian would come back to life now and choose New York! " http://movies.yahoo.com/mv/news/eo/20080904/122057112000.html
  24. Now stop crying. ;D Yeah! There is no crying in Socom.
  25. I am DL now too myself. I was at 35% before I came out to the garage to smoke. ;D 35 in 12 minutes, I should be ready to install by the time I'm done out here!!! WOOOOT
